  1. Congratulations. Now get 2k total you lazy :P.
  2. What fourside suggests might be possibly if you kill the Zamorak followers in Armadyl's eyrie etc. but I think you need to kill followers in their own encampments. Seconly you can also use the steel to kill the same followers as your primary weapon, so it won't save you time either way. I don't have a clue, Obt. I guess you could try the scrolls on Kree himself and see.
  3. 200 and no ugune is unlucky. I personally have only 143 catches logged (1 ugune seed) but overall I've had at least 7, probably 8 in 1k catches or thereabouts.
  4. Druvovic tells me solo corp is rather fun. You can try that.
  5. I'm all for a level ~80 bind from a quest and a level ~90 + ~110 binds costing 200k and 500k tokens or similar. However even without those, the full sets of t11 are useful as Grimy said.
  6. You could also include some of Vex' figures on powerslaying, and imo powerslaying should be considered the baseline of slaying (save cannon perhaps).
  7. [hide] The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +15 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +25 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. [/hide] Check Vex' guide for example tasks to skip/block here.
  8. Well I'm not 99 prayer, just 95, but what I did from 80-95 is doing one tort's worth of bones - 1240 - at the time, then make cash for the next load. Really makes it easy.
  9. Personally I'd say maxed tank (all 99s but attack/strength) or (near) maxed main (all 99s, with lower defence). However those are of course in a different level range than those you suggested.
  10. p2p

You can't train farming in f2p and farming is the best money in the game save merching. Guess what, merching p2p items is easier (whip). So yeah, get p2p if you feel like it.
  11. Even more so with the new gravestone thing (which may cause people to be less generous with blessing), the non-risk of turmoil makes it very attractive. I'd go for it, it's really amazing for stuff like waterfiends/miths/kbd (I mean actually allowing you to switch uni to another familar, which really changes how you kill them). For bosshunting, it increases your staying power by a lot, both by ppots restoring more prayer & being able to ss (flash).
  12. Your prayer level is a little low, so I'd spend ~10m on that to get at least level 70. Then: Verac's helmet/helmet of Neitiznot, Verac's skirt, black dragonhide top, rune crossbow, snakeskin boots, amulet of glory, archer's ring, alerter/accumulator, obsidian shield/blessed spirit shield, barrows gloves. Bring a whip and Guthan's platebody for the 90's/45's. 1.5k broad bolts, 100 diamonds in your inventory. Bring 2 range pots, one super attack one super strength, 6 brews, 6 restores, rest ppots. Use EE/EEE to spec, if you lack those, you can borrow an sgs or claws.
  13. Bow is not badass. CCbow + diamonds beats it (about the same cost to use, ccbow is one-handed, same speed, slighly lower ranged strength of cbow offset by diamonds). Handcannon is even better usually.
  14. You need dungeoneering levels for the scroll (about 57 of them). Farming levels are extremely easy to get (do potatoes first). Sinister keys require no levels whatsoever.
  15. p2p

Quyneax replied to CloudKiker97's topic in Help and Advice
I'd get it now, for a month; if you like it you can get a recurring subscription. As for what you should get first: farming levels, and stuff to do farming runs. That includes Ghosts Ahoy, Lumbridge hard diary, Fairy Tale Part 1 and My Arm's Big Adventure.
  16. I think you could get witchdoctor gear if you were willing to get 77 hunter (w/ pot), some farming level (I forgot, can be boosted by 3 as well) and a herblore level (70 or so)
  17. I think he means more accounts playing = more lag. Which might be true, for part of the lag (server-side), but some of the lag is just from the connection. So unless a huge percentage of all accounts is in fact a bot, I doubt it'd matter terribly much.
  18. It's still a good level. Congratulations :).
  19. Margin of error? You mean standard deviation or something. Yes it would be more likely to lose money, but the point is that snapdragon will make more money in the long run.
  20. Steel dragons are marginally faster with cannon than in Kuradal's, it's mainly what you prefer. Irons would probably be quite a bit faster due to their lower defence. Off-task, the cannon is by far the best.
  21. A dose lasts 5 minutes, enough to finish a 5-patch run starting at Trollheim. I usually use one separate dose to harvest the two jungle patches, as you can't get them all in one run anyway.
  22. Shilo is faster, but not very much. I suggest you do barbarian fishing until 85-86 then pie to rocktails should you ever want to gain more fishing xp (effigies or so). Cutting and eating @ barbarian is even faster, but really really annoying to do.
  23. Supernoob covered it . One tiny note is that the scroll of life again favours snapdragon.
  24. You do get deaths and that sucks, but with both juju and scroll of life I still profit on many runs with deaths (unfortunately I also sometimes lose money of course). Averaged out, you will still make more money doing torstol than any other herb, even with the higher death loss.
  25. The defence potions are for hellhounds, for example. They tend to hit a bit (cannoning in the resource dungeon) and I tank them. More defence is also nice on LRC strikers and stuff.
