Kalphite King and Nex
Well there's always teams that accept mauls, they'd probably take you if you were using dragon provided you bring the mace :P. In general, that sounds fine. If you're doing test runs at Nex, maybe you want some more health/armour in case you get caught in a 'contain this' special or such (it can happen to anyone :P), but void is best for experienced nexers. For boots, I'm guessing glaivens for the mage/range defence, cape is tokhaar for the melee crit & armour, imbued onyx over circuit (totally worth it).

Marriage equality, and the SCotUS
When getting married, the whole question "what sex/gender are you?" is not required, unless you wish to discriminate by sex. Discrimination by sex is forbidden. I do not see why this should not apply in marriage as well. Of course you can discuss whether discrimination by sex should be forbidden or not. Personally, I believe it should be, just like discrimination by 'race' or 'class'. All the discussions about the legal benefits of marriage are irrelevant. They can be changed to fit whatever division of money we find fair. Naturally, laws may not discriminate by sex. Children don't come into marriage. They are not allowed to marry, marriage is not required to have children, children are not required to have a marriage. Of course there is a relation between children and marriage, but I think that is because both stem from love and the intention to be commited to eachother for a long time. I think in the end, the most important reason for people to marry is romance. I do not think that is something you should deny to anyone.

Recruits would definitely help I think :). It would be very nice if some more people would post. Bloodfever and Lekti have excuses, but for everyone else: pleas read and reply.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
Skill armour is not the same as armour that can be made with skills, sorry about the confusion there, of course things like bronze-runite are all tradeable, but those are relatively low-tier armours also available in shops. Things like ganodermic require skills to repair it continuously but not to access it. True skill armour is stuff like superior tetsu, which absolutely requires 90 smithing to access (and another 90 skill). So basically, you have: Untradeable boss drops (uh, Mask of Dragith Nurn) Untradeable skill armour (ports) Tradeable boss drops (Nex etc.) Tradeable skill armour (ganodermic) Now obviously tradeable skill armour and boss drops aren't really different to the person who's buying them; the requirement is still just cash and some combat stats. The first two are pretty different. In the tiering system I wrote up above, I mean untradeable skill armour where it says skill (except bronze-dragon), and tradeble boss drops where it says boss. The reason for that is that you need combat stats to wear the equipment anyway, and those combat stats would allow you to kill the boss anyway, but you don't need skills to wear armour, even if it's crafted (e.g. no crafting req to wear gano). Under the current system, anyone who can wear torva (and at least chaotic maul) can kill Nex, whereas not nearly anyone who can wear ganodermic can also craft it. The idea is that there is some combat benefit to having high skills that can't be bought from people with the skills, the equivalent of extremes and overloads basically. More tradeable crafting armour wouldn't make skilling useful to combat, it would make skilling more profitable perhaps, which is a good thing, but not what the tiering system is for.

Zaryte is a great weapon, but that's mostly because it's so damn convenient. Ranged is just nicer than melee for hunting things spread out, like jogres, or really packed and low health, like skeletons & skoblins (those are an easy 1500 kph for skeleton scrolls).

Armadyl GWD and QBD - High and Low level
Personally I do not use berserk and I consistently get 2 kills per overload dose. Unless I have 80% or more starting adrenaline, in that case I use assault > basics > berserk > adren pot > basics > (first artefact here somewhere) > basics > destroy to finish phase 1&2 quickly. Ending kills with near full adrenaline is pretty common, unless lots of 4-souls happen (more flurry). Remember that berserk is double damage for 20 seconds, but using assault instead means you'll get 219% damage over 6 seconds (compared to 125% with slice, 100% with punish/havoc and 188% with sever, so assault is actually better than berserk > slice > punish > slice > havoc > slice) and still have tons of adrenaline left. Add to that that there is a damage cap at 5000, while berserk + assault maxes at ~8k and berserk + destroy at ~7k, so you lose a good chunk of dps there*. It is generally not a good idea to use berserk unless you can adren pot right after, and adren pots have a 120s cooldown, so you can only ever use it once per kill, tops. *Capping a 1-8000 hit at 5k reduces the average hit from 4000.5 to 3437.5, a loss of about 14%.

For slayer, you're looking at equilibrium aura-wise, or penance on tasks like mithril dragons. Edit: got a dragon skirt (or) kit + ancient platelegs clue, +4m. Also sold zaryte, never use it anymore.

Range & Mage Gear
Polypore strike requires a t75 staff which is worse than abs or cs. If you can get cs, that's likely a better bet especially for miths for example. At 85 magic you have access to all the blitz spells (ice requires 82 magic), so elemental weaknesses are covered there.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
Cruelty is estimated to be 10-20% chance to bleed for 100% damage (of the hit it activates on) over 5 hits, so a total dps increase of 10-20% on a target of sufficiently high health. Elements is about 6% dps increase, last I heard. Vampirism drains 1-(something)% of your opponent's remaining health (last I checked wiki anyway). The examine says it takes some of the targets health and gives it to the scrimshaw bearer. Edit: ninja :P.

What updates would you like to see in EoC?
I'd say the tiering system is so random that armours can't really be considered 'tiered'. For example comparing Ahrim's to Ganodermic, you can hardly say it's an increase in difficulty to obtain the item. The increases from Dragon/royal d'hide to Barrows to GWD to Nex/Ports are part of how viable an armour is, but Jagex doesn't seem to take it into account. Based on the idea of skill armour vs. combat/boss armour, I'd say a tiering system would be: - Alternate tiers of skilling and boss armour, make t99 require both, minigames/specials in between. - Have at least one special at each tier. Ranging from Dragith Nurn to void to EE, there's a lot of options here. These should be actually worth getting (so not like imbueds or dt gloves >.>). - Lower tier armour is also shop-bought, apart from specials. Melee-only example: Level 1 Bronze (skill). Level 5 Cower shield, raider chainbody (goblin flash mob), Mask of Dragith Nurn etc. (boss). Level 10 iron (skill). Level 15 ... Level 20 steel (skill). Level 25 black/white (sort of boss, lots of monster drops, white armour shop depends on monster kills as well). Level 30 mithril (skill). Level 35 ... Level 40 adamant (skill). Level 45 Fremmenik items (berserker helm etc.) Level 50 rune (skill). Level 55 Spirit shield, Neitiznot helmet Level 60 dragon (boss) Level 65 third-age (special, mostly boss though) Level 70 Bandos (boss) Barrows (boss) Level 75 Sigil shields (magic has ganodermic here, which requires monster drops but also skills) Level 80 Torva (boss) Level 85 Tetsu (skill) Level 90 ... (something boss-dropped) Level 95 ... (something skill-based) Level 99 ... (both) If you want to be strict in your progression, you'd have to make dragon smithable and add a lot of monster drop tiers, and some craftable tiers, and move a lot of armour around (all metals past bronze could come down 5 levels for example). More realistically, you treat dragon as special (so 55 and 60 are both boss drops) and add a t65 and t75 skill tier. That fits the current progression much better.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Don't forget the adrenaline potions and Destroy. Steel titan does basically nothing afaik.

Magic Help.
You probably couldn't hit him without a wand equipped, even if you could cast spells, because of the way defence works now. I'm guessing Fareed has defence equal to t50-60 minimum, which is just really hard to hit without at least t50 weapons.

Q
Vampirism apparently drains health depending on how much your opponent has left, not depending on how much damage you're doing. That might explain lower-than-expected heals, as people typically use it at Nex and KK only.

Fight Kiln
Jads do not have special attacks, just really powerful normal attacks. The resonance nerf was for things like the Kalphite King's instant kill ability or Nex' ice prison.

Group tele trollheim and Borrowed power >.>. Got two royal frames (died due to double DC which spawned 10+ worms + 4 souls + super fire -.-), also succeeded scrolls/trade goods so I have 36 scrolls now (all tops & legs, seasinger hood, half of tetsu/lotus helms, vampirism). Need some laquer missions soon or I'll get scrolls before trade goods :S. Also hi Sinkhan :).

EoE Hangout
I mostly mean that key ranks should be active, and resign keys (but not all rank/membership) when going on a break for a longer time, e.g. a month and up. For regular members, I have no problem with them going inactive, but they could be ranked 1 banana or w/e. That's not really a big deal imo. Keys are supposed to moderate the clan & set an example, which requires their presence.

EoE Hangout
A good part of the actives in EoE are concerned with how small a part of the clan is actually active, especially amongst keys. This is why we are considering starting a new clan, or changing the leadership and many ranks of current EoE. Points: - Kandy has confirmed he wants to keep his gold key rank, but he will not be active until the summer depending on the new skills (if you want to elaborate, Kandy, please do :)). - Kandy has kindly ranked several actives up to silver keys, leaving us with the following distribution: Gold (Kandy), 5x silver (Kandy, Deo, Octarine, Jeff and myself) and one bronze (Lookback, which is Dragon's). Three silver keys are active. The only difference between silver and gold is the ability to create silver keys, as far as I know. - Many of the ranks are based on dungeoneering which is not really the focus of EoE, despite the origins as dg clan. Ranks may be a bit inaccurate. - Starting over is 'cleaner' and gives a better idea of who is active and who isn't. It also means the gold key can be reassigned. - Starting over means returning inactives will find the clan mostly gone. - An estimated 15/65 people are active overall. Until the first of April, we'd like to discuss this, get some ideas, more pros and cons of the available options. At that time, we'd like to take a decision, but that is of course changeable. The set date is just to keep the pressure up, because otherwise nothing will probably happen. Currently the general idea is that reforming EoE is preferred over starting anew because of the established structure. It'd be good to know how many people oppose this and how many support it, so please post :). Finally, if there's more that should be included here, just post. === Personally I'm of the opinion that it is far better to have an activity requirement for key ranks and perhaps also higher non-keys, so for that reason I favour a reshuffle.

25-Mar-2013 - Wilderness Warbands
10% extra trade goods only helps the double adventurer missions, but it's still nice. Edit: it's chance to get a mission, not reward boost? Bit confused by msiGC's post :S. Good list of fixes this week :).

Which god would you most like to kill?
I have to contend with the idea that killing Zamorak ='s nothing much happens. I think Guthix would disagree as well. Chaos, or randomness, is a necessity. Zamorak isn't the source of Chaos any more than Guthix is the source of Balance or Armadyl the source of Law/Good/Order/what's-his-style. Killing Zamorak does not remove chaos at all. If you kill Saradomin, most human empires are without their god (Misthalin, Asgarnia, Kandarin). Non-humans are largely Guthixian (gnomes, dwarves) or have their own god (elves, goblins/ogres/orks etc., monkeys). Zamorakians tend to be removed from society and are avoided by the other gods, except perhaps Bandos' followers (then again goblins aren't huge fans of Zamorak, are they?). So in that sense, killing Zamorak would directly affect the politics of the world the least. It would remove some Mahjarrat from the game perhaps, but those would likely continue scheming regardless. Killing Saradomin, on the other hand, would have the largest direct effect on the world.

^Indeed. So I got seasinger hood, and full seasinger :). And then went Nexing with Ambler (tank), Dragon (void dps), Yoko (tetsu), myself also in tetsu. Apart from that we all died (Ambler twice), it went pretty well: torva boots :). Funny story about dying: Nex does 'contain this'. Two dps die. Tank dies due to normal attack two seconds later. Q has to solo ice phase without shield/experience/food (had brews, now that's useful >.>). Q dies. All stuff recovered, no problem.
