String Jewelry or Plank Make
can't you do both at the same time? you can definitely string + make hunter kits at the same time last i checked. Why not plank make + string at the same time.

Amulet of Fury Prices
a PVP update came out that removed whips from the drops of PVP. so that's one less source of whips into the game. and they replaced all the drops with pure cash statuettes, so that caused a good deal of inflation and made everything in general more expensive

Amulet of Fury Prices
nobody really hunts cave horrors. even if they're a few hundred K, that's not enough reason to hunt them off task. And kuradal and duradel and lapalok don't assign them as a task. as for fury, the price was raised from 270k tokkul to 2700k tokkul additionally you can only collect tokkul from monster kills and tzhaar minigames. You can no longer get tokkul by selling stuff (such as death runes) to the shop.

Can you link me to some site that is keeping track of effigy drop rates?
I saw the same data log in dunou's effigy thread in the distractions and divergences section of the RSOF, if you want it straight from the horse's mouth. and I don't think it's only on the maxed forums. Lagota Pro's 200M slayer xp log is also very good, not as large as the former though.

Rigour or c'bow?
rigour for frosties, cbow for td's

High level Slaying
I'd stop doing abyssal demons, since you can indeed do frost dragons + tormented demons. Drop rate of abby demons is 1/512 as recently confirmed, so like 2 mil gp/hour from abyssals tops and they have a horrible 1/1000 ish effigy drop rate and you don't need charms anymore. top it off they have high defense levels. so unless you really want an abby demon head... i would definitely do terrordogs though. Slayer points are nice, the tasks only take like 15 minutes tops.

Tasks to Block
This. Everyone has different tastes. what if there exists task A and task B I dislike task A more than task B but task B gets assigned more often than task A, and task A takes a very short time to complete. then maybe I would actually want to block task B instead. I mean it's nice advice, but it's kinda obvious and doesn't give the inquirer any new or interesting information or perspective.

Tasks to Block
Black demons, if cannoned, are THE fastest source of effigies in the game, outpacing tormented demons and frost dragons according to dunou's effigy drop log (which is MASSIVE and the data size is like ~70 effigies from black demons and hundreds more from other monsters) If you have any desire to get effigies, they're worth it. I heard somewhere that certain tasks (monsters with slayer level requirements) tend to be assigned 2x more commonly than others. So I tend to block those, and just cancel the rest. Zarfot should have data on that somewhere on the RSOF, but I don't know the numbers off the top of my head.

Korasi spec + TD
does korasi spec count as magic against a td? as in would it go through prayer?

Old School Hardcore Player Returns, Point me in the right direction
just note that dungeoneering is VERY slow at early levels. you might be better off doing tears of guthix (it's a weekly minigame that's unlocked from a quest called tears of guthix) That will boost your level up without actually training dungeoneering, and let you get past the excruciatingly slow early levels I would definitely recommend catching up on quests. That's always the first thing I do after I go on a runescape hiatus.

Tip on finding Dung groups!
well you can only log into one cc at a time, which might be a problem. would it be so hard to code and host an online program for such a purpose? It would definitely be more versatile than some cc's

Do Brutal Green Dragons drop effigies
RS wiki doesn't say so, but I don't trust it to be up to date, as every other dragon drops effigies, and brutal greens aren't commonly hunted. I don't mind finding out for myself eventually, but if anybody knows off the top of their head, that'd be nice. <3 also does anybody know any good black dragon logs? i found a few, but a lot of them date back to before the release of effigies, and they don't cover them. I'm curious as to whether or not they drop effigies more commonly than frosts, as their combat level is indeed higher. and due to their melee combat range nature, they're much easier to lure, directly ontop of the cannon, potentially enabling kill rates superior to frost dragons. Coupled with a better drop rate *could* make them a broken training method if you find an empty world. buuut lack of data. bleh.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
the point is, that the subpercents ur talking about, aren't visible, and are not recognized by marmaros the repair man.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
nah, for example: If you fight for a few second with a chaotic weapon. There is a chance your weapon will still be at 100% even after the fighting is over. I believe chaotic weapons immediately start degrading the moment you enter combat. There are a few possibilities. There could be an invisible timer that is not correlated to the status on your weapon (like crystal bow/shield) and after a set amount of events, the item degrades a notch. Or it could be like a farming timer, and every few minutes, the game checks to see if you're using a chaotic weapon in combat. If you are then it degrades it 1%. The latter seems unlikely, since chaotic weapons degrade 3-4% per hour. That would be 1 check every 15-20 minutes. Which is kinda ridiculous. honestly can't say for sure how exactly they degrade til jagex leaks.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
I've collected slightly more data on the matter, and a chaotic crossbow at frost dragons (after the multiple dragons attacking you at once patch) degrades at about 75k gp/hour I said 60k/hr earlier, but my data pool wasnt quite as large as it is now. the degrading system works a little different from barrows for example It doesn't degrade instantly when you enter combat. Perhaps it is degrading in secret, like a crystal bow, before dropping another % The exact mechanics aren't know. The degrading rate might actually not be a steady rate.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
CLS can be anywhere from marginally worse than a whip + defender on monsters with no defense, such as living rocks, to roughly 1.2x faster if you're missing 50%+ of the time even with the CLS CLS is pretty good compared to the ZS, perhaps always better, not 100% sure. abby demons are not a low defense monster, they're one of the higher defense monsters out there. But the chaotic rapier would kill the fastest, followed by CLS, followed by whip. rapier can never be less than ~1.10x faster than a whip if you're using the right combat style. CLS can however, be ~0.98x as fast as a whip, if the monster's defense is very low.

What Next Chaotic?
Scroll of rigour > chaotic crossbow I believe. on a loosely related note: I timed ~27.5 prayer points per minute drain rate (very roughly) with no prayer bonus. the rs wiki number has been complete bs for the last month ;D. chaotic maul is a good option if you're slaying primarily.

07-Oct-2010 - Postbag from the Heim + Chaos Elemental Riddles
Kethsi is an anagram for the 3 dragon kin at WGS no its not XD fail the second part of hint 4 is "the strong remembers the weak falls" This has been speculated to mean "Robert the Strong remembers the baxtorian falls" Robert the Strong was a dragon kin slayer, and the baxtorian falls being a dragon kin fortress. So I would say hint 4 is a reference to a WGS sequel as for the mix in a job hint. All the sub hints in hint 4 reference the desert pantheon. The desert pantheon has 2 higher gods, and 4 demi gods. the "wind swept in from the wilderness and smote the 4 corners". maybe the 4 corners are the 4 demi gods of the desert pantheon. We know that desert pantheon, and their followers were decimated after the god wars by zamorakian/saradomin forces. Perhaps the wind from the wilderness was Zamorak, who after returning to Gielinor offered one of his demon generals to ravage the desert
