if you use an ahrims top, void is still slightly worse, not noticeably at all. The difference in max accuracy roll is like 330:328 meaning ahrims will net you absolutely no more than 0.6% more kills per hour than void + deflector + ahrims top + wizard boots + soul wars cape + staff of light + arcane stream it'll be less than 0.6% if you're not splashing 50% of the time or more, or if you're idling some of the time you're fighting. also keep in mind elite void has a prayer bonus.

very nice guide. One question though How many more kills would you say a hand cannon gets you over broad bolts? They're undoubtably the best weapon, but the up to 500k gp/hour price tag (for 1200 shots per hour, which u wont be getting at frosties) seems a bit steep. I was honestly very surprised to see that crossbows and handcannons have the same weapon speed. Makes me question why handcannons aren't more commonly used, just for everything ranged in general. I suppose not too many people have high firemaking. you haven't changed a tidbit in the killing and cannoning section about multiple dragons being able to attack you at the same time since the update btw how confident are you in the 1/1600 number? i just lost 4 hand cannons in 2000 shots at 97 fm edit: now 7 handcannons in ~3500 shots at 97 fm >_< are you SURE 1600 is accurate!

The conquest game is actually really easy, the AI of the pests isn't all that great and you have regenerate so you can wall most of them with your champion. Just watch out for the Ravagers (I think it was), they're the only threats to your team in my opinion. Wall? Regenerate? The things have 3x hp as you. Most of your doods get one hit and pests get to move 2 pieces a turn as opposed to your one. I'd send that content back to QA with a little note attached "fix me fools". It would seem you're the only person having that much trouble with that part of the quest ;)

it might not be inferior. This spec would bypass phoenix necklace in PVP would it not? and it might be magic based, which might be a plus.

yeah, soul wars cape kinda nukes the usefulness of any additional prayer bonus, thanks to rather steep diminishing returns on prayer bonus.

do you not have rigour? honestly I'd save for for the final dungeoneering batch it was 4 months between batch 1 and occult. another 4 month wait would put the final batch at around christmas.

I did a quick calc, and the elite void legs will save me about 2 ppots per 2 hours at frost dragons. Meaning it'll take me 670 hours to save enough money off ppots to justify the 1 hour i spent getting 100 commendation points. but at least it looks cool <3 I guess they could make trips last longer? but I can't stand cannoning frost dragons for more than two hours straight anyways. Maybe void mage will be worth it now, due to the prayer bonus. Last I checked ahrims was still more accurate, but that might be slightly offset by the void deflector now. the extra magic attack bonuses on the SOL and arcane stream over fury/other staffs from my previous calculations may factor in as well.

All this talk of the Dragon defender, yet, no where has Jagex said anything about it. It's pure myth, to my knowledge. jagex has stated that the dragon defender is coming out soon

That is the common equation for efficiency in runescape, but ultimately it's limited. How would you calculate the efficiency of training multiple skills at the same time with such an equation? LRC superheating for example? The equation also does not factor in the possibility that you might have finite goals. It's not very useful to define efficiency as a whole by such an equation. I prefer the dictionary definition of efficiency:

I've wanted to make a CC based solely around RS knowledge for a while now. I've been in through quite a few clans and CC's over the course of the years. And frankly I'm just tired of getting griefed by people just because they don't share my interests. It just seems there aren't any clans around based solely around the sharing of RS knowledge. The trouble is, getting a CC like this off its feet is a little tough. The CC's rather empty at the beginning, and it's hard to get a foundation set if there's not much activity in the CC. So I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on good ways to advertise such a CC?

shields degrade faster than weapons. but weapons only degrade by about 60k gp/hour in single way combat. 120k if being attacked by 2 enemies, 180k by 3, 240k by 4, etc. it's not often that you'll be in a situation where your weapons/shields will actually degrade at 200k per hour. the knowledge base entry about 200k/hour is wrong.

Scroll of renewal sucks TBH hp restore rate isnt nearly that of a bunyip, and it's much more expensive. rigour is very nice tbh. Nobody really ranges whilst on curses. Curses are only really good for mages and meleers. rapier would be my first purchase hands down at any rate, if i didnt have any of the items.

it is void gives roughly +10% accuracy, +20% damage (contrary to what the KB says) whereas FSH only +15% damage and accuracy.

I say it's not worth doing. You'd need to earn 1 mil per lvl3/4 cluescroll average to match frost dragons. and even then you lose the xp and the effigies. ive done plenty of lvl 3 cluescrolls, and my average profit off of the ~20-30 or so ive done has been a grand total of about 5-10 mil. not nearly the 20-30mil+ I'd need to justify it. So no, I never do them.
