Tormented Demons
What are the new safespots? Are they weak to magic like other demons? and how weak? are they weak to stab like RS wiki claims? Do steel titans hit through the prayers?

Dragonkin Lamp Help
i'd but it in slayer or summoning those skills are much higher level id rather have 30k xp in a skill than 10k-13k. honestly i would just hoard those lamps for as long as possible. the xp per lamp curve is too steep to justify using them asap.

Does anyone actually LIKE every minute of getting a 99?
I mean I see grinding skills, even if one doesn't enjoy the grinding, to be fairly acceptable in RS. I'd never do it TOO much though. And I've never grinded a 99 I didn't enjoy. Only grind if it the result of the grinding helps you enjoy other skills more. The reasons i get 99's: I enjoy training them. (i got 99 atk + cons because i like slayer) I found a creative way to train them, that most other players don't think of (99 herblore + farming for me) or because I think it's useful (99 summoning) If I consider a skill a boring grind then I just stop training it when it no longer helps me with other things I enjoy (ex: I think prayer is boring but I'll train it because I love slayer)

GuidesForScapers - 1m Profit Per Hour Plus 25k Magic Experience
I mean, i guess the market for anything could be considered huge relative to a player. Like I'm sure that hundreds of millions of gp in teletabs is consumed per day. but all that matters is how much the market is, in comparison to the rest of runescape. Consider this, Law runes aren't even on the list of top 50 most traded items in runescape. and teletabs make up a tiny fraction of that market. I was making a point that 25,000 bots is still a ridiculous number. so lets assume they play for 10 hours a day. that means an average of 10400 bots are online at any given time. I refuse to believe that 10k out of the 50k-150k RS accounts online at any given time, are just sitting around softening clay. assuming that the owners aren't generous enough to give these accounts memberships, that's ~200 bots softening clay per f2p world? and how many banks are there in RS? it's still a ridiculous number even if I just assume that they only play for 8-10 hours a day.

[VIDEO] GuidesForScapers - 300k - 400k Per Hour Plus 20k - 30k Melee Experience
any player can get 300k-1mil in 5-30 minutes a day though, just by doing daily events, more or less regardless of their stats. which is why I consider grinding money a little pointless. 300k-1 mil a day should really be enough to get you those bare necessities, like a whip or what not.

Merch Clans
So the kind of "merch" clan we want to get rid of are manipulation clans, that buy up lots and lots of certain items. I think the solution is fairly obvious. Jagex just needs to hijack their accounts for a few minutes and dump all their manipulated items into GE for min price. Then take away all the GP made from those sales (for the chance that the manipulator already earned a profit anyways) manipulator gets punished, and we get some deflation. only issue might be double and triple checking before the punishment. Jagex can always just unban someone, and return the account as it was. Once you strip a player of their items, it's much harder to return those items.

[VIDEO] GuidesForScapers - 300k - 400k Per Hour Plus 20k - 30k Melee Experience
The reason this method of making money died out is because it's outdated. Tower of life: Unicows are faster sources of unicorn horns. I don't think money makers of under 750k gp/hour are worth writing guides about tbh. The only reason you would make less is if you're low level. Players that are low level should really prioritize leveling up, not making money though. I mean if a low level player runs in here and reads this guide and thinks: "Hey! 300k-400k gp/hour! that's good money!" I mean sure, he'd earn some money but he'd still be in roughly the same low level hole that he was in before. these kinds of guides point lower level players, who don't always know better, in the wrong direction IMO.

Nature rune profits (Graahk + Double)
just keep in mind, I consider my RCing spreadsheet incomplete, as I don't have too much run data. but I tried a few runs with a graahk and they each took me about 40 seconds ignoring banking time and my spreadsheets assume that it takes 15 seconds to bank. http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tnziX943ht0nvvbFz9MwJpw&output=html might I recommend abyss -> deaths instead? I did about a dozen runs so far and i'm averaging 1.18 death runes per essence @ lvl 90 rcing.

Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
battlestaves put 9300 gp back into the economy when they're alched though...
-
Saggitarian Longbow
always bind sagittarian arrows over some random runes they alch for 3k ea, and are awesome in themselves the bow isnt really worth it just get yourself 90 ish fletching and make a gravecreeper bow if you ever need one.
-
rcing from lvl 63
deaths via abyss seem to be better money than graahk natures, even at 91+ rc

Making an Effigy Volunteer Spreadsheet
In hindsight, runehead is better for such a job than one of my spreadsheets So i'll go ahead and use that instead I've already taken the name: TIF Effigy for this possibility. I'd rather not be the person running the CC though.
-
Making an Effigy Volunteer Spreadsheet
So I'm making an effigy spreadsheet. Gonna make a runehead group instead, better suited for the job. the idea is to get 50 players, who can offer their assistance for effigies. 50 players is the cap for a single spreadsheet btw. I can put these players names on a spreadsheet, and sort their names in order of their level in the relevant skill. These players will keep their private chat on whenever they are available, and other players can check the spreadsheet for people who can offer their assistance. trouble is finding 50 players who are both active, willing, and have good enough stats. any volunteers? :)

Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
I understand that runescape itself works on luck, ex: boss drops. but the big distinction is that hunting for drops, you can EXPECT to earn a profit. when you go into a lottery you EXPECT to lose money. Instead of promoting perseverance, this kinda of lottery just promotes recklessness. I really think of a lottery as a brute force solution. Not that I expect better from Jagex idea wise. But it's still a "Oh we couldn't think of any better ideas so just use this" kind of idea. Sort of like the PVP statuette drop idea, which helped create this inflation problem in the first place. There's no guarantee that players just won't splurge on the lottery and cause horrible deflation. There's no guarantee that players won't just stop playing the lottery suddenly. It's not a precise solution. Whereas if Jagex introduced a new piece of content, in which you spend X gp's to save Y amount of time for yourself. Then would exists a value of X gp's that the entire population of runescape SHOULD spend as a whole, to achieve an efficient ratio of X gps to Y time saved. And the amount of GP taken out will always be pushed towards that efficient value. Sure there will be some fluctuations, but several orders of magnitude less than a lottery scheme. ^^those kinds of updates are ones that induce economic stability. They're like supports on chairs. They need to be tough and well defined. a lottery would cause all sorts of havoc on the economy, we just don't know what yet.

Chinchompa fuse lengths
I heard somewhere that medium fuses are the equivalent of rapid. But i'm not sure that makes sense? I always thought that you changed it depending on how far you wanted to throw.

GuidesForScapers - 1m Profit Per Hour Plus 25k Magic Experience
I only did the quest recently (i did quit for a while afterwards). If you have the requirements for the quest, DO IT! The spell book is seriously useful, good for money, too. Filling vials can be a good mix between cash and magic experience. You can also humidify instead of alching. You just get a fishbowl, put it underneath where the humidify spell is (so if you didn't move your mouse you would click in the same place) and then use the inventory switch hotkey (F6, i think?) to empty the fishbowl, then use humidify to fill it. The experience is better than alching, as you can empty and cast again before the animation finishes. It is around 3gp per 1 exp, which is a reasonable amount considering the speed. 25,000 bots eh? wut? Presumably by bots you mean the kind of machines that work 24-7? so at all times, 10-50% of the runescape population currently online is nothing but clay mining bots yeah, uh huh :P humidify is humidify, humidifying clay will eventually get to the point that it is roughly on par with the profit from filling empty vials and such. the reason this method won't last, is because the market for it is tiny. Just how much clay is there in the economy? it just doesn't have the "market inertia" so to speak, to sustain itself.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Rapier Long is better at bandos/tds/sara, rapier everywhere else. dunno about sara or bandos but godswords were great at TD's wouldn't the chaotic maul be best for TD's then? The problem with the CLS is that it's usefulness is smooshed in between the maul and the rapier

Ranging KBD
why are you killing KBD in the first place? your stats are a bit low, and the KBD doesn't give any spectacular drops other than than a visage, and there are better things for slayer.

Runescape Reboot
I think the majority of the comments against this idea have been along the lines of "oh who would actually want to play on these servers". from the perspective of a newbie gamer, a freshman server would be much more enticing, as you would not need to start the game off at such a huge disadvantage to more embedded players. There's also the point that from the perspective of newer players, the achievements of older players may seem borderline insurmountable. Sure, R2H's, glories, and stuff might be in horribly low supply at first. But that's part of the excitement. Being at the forefront of a server is a very epic thing to accomplish and maintain. Oh, and I guess there would be no rares on the server too. *evil laugh* the only criticism is that, after the first few years of dynamic growth, the server will stagnate into what our current runescape is now. But either way, I think it's a good bone to throw to the noobies. and would probably weed out the more immature gamers out of our current server.

Future Update Thread
When was this? Do you have a QFC? Last time I heard Jagex talk about a high level farming update, their comments were along the lines of: "We don't want to just release new high level seeds because that would nuke the price of current seeds. But we haven't thought of enough better ideas yet"
