75-99 Mage
it depends on your income Like i said, if you make under 1.5-2 mil ish gp/hour, then yes it outweighs the time taken to 99 otherwise, no, it does not and better methods exist.

75-99 Mage
Sorry, do you mean 75-80 = Alch 80-94 = Stun 94-99 = Stealing Creation My income is poor, I got lucky with drops, I won't be exceeding 75 odd million for a while. Superheating is a little over my budget I think, Unless it would get me 99 in a matter days :) -speak oN my bad, i meant superglass make superglass make makes profit

75-99 Mage
If you want an accurate answer, you should tell us your income. if your income is under 1.5-2 mil gp/hour then superheat glass is very efficient for you assuming you can cast the spell 581 times per hour you will earn: ~45k mage xp/hour 1 mil gp/hour

DKs for Slayer Tasks
I've decided that I will slay DK's for slayer tasks for the following reasons: a- new range/magic slayer helmet b- realized that my chaotic rapier will get degraded REALLY quickly by multicombat daggannoth tasks c- advent of arcane stream + staff of light items. d- effigies drop higher from higher level monsters :) I have: 96 Magic 94 Ranged 99 HP 99 Attack 97 Strength 96 Defence 96 Prayer 99 Summoning 99 Herblore Dungeoneering items that I own: Anti-poison Totem Arcane Stream Chaotic Rapier Bonecrusher Gem Bag In terms of gear, money is not an issue. I've never DK hybrid/tribrided before. Heck aside from 2 dragon claws drops, I've never boss hunted before.

15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
you don't think it'd be worth it? 15k agility/mining/runecrafting/fishing alone is worth a good 15-30 minutes of your time that's easily worth 500k-1 mil gp to some players herblore and farming are up there too that's definitely worth lending an AGS out for, considering I won't even need to fork out any junk. People only charge 500k-1500k for AGS loans depending in duration and time of day as it is. construction/thieving and fletching/woodcutting effigies are just kinda meh, but they aren't bad Have you even got one yet? You'll find that it does expand on the lore. I have to agree with Libs here. The lore amounts to "something bad happens when you do this" It leaves jagex too many open doors, making me question whether or not the developer knows for sure, where he plans to go with this lore.

So I heard you can't bank these effigies? is this true?- 15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
you still need to beat MM to get the right to wield the scimitar right? i don't think it makes much of a difference. I'm all for jagex removing money makers that are basically menial labor.- 15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
i checked out the zybez thread on dragonkin lamps. 17.7k xp @ lvl 71 rc 40k xp @ lvl 93 slayer + we have xpx's data from earlier on. So it looks like higher levels get ALOT more xp than lower levels, it's still a lesser %age of the total xp to the next level, as your levels increase. http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1396742-ancient-effigies/page__st__60- 15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
i wonder if potions/pies/evil stews work on the effigies :P i also wonder what the reward for fully gorging an effigy is i hope this "knowledge" is a useful skill lol, not just something like: "chickens have drop bones 100% of the time"- dungeoneering
I would recommend using tears of guthix for early levels. penguins/xp lamps wouldn't be a horrible idea either, but i wouldn't use them until lvl 30 dungeoneering. don't kill everything. open all the doors. Only kill when you need to (for food, or to open guardian doors)- Private servers
they are indeed illegal- Stealing Creation
Yeap but i'd recommend training magic some other, less boring way- 14th June 2010 - Guaranteed Content Poll: Halloween 2010 Reward
*wants pumpkin seeds*- Barbarian potions
market changes too frequently to put a solid statement on what is best I use my spreadsheets, because they update me on what is best http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-reference-spreadsheets/ As of 06/14/2010 Antifire mix(2) barbarian potions are amazing IF you can mouse-key them effectively AND sell them as junk, as I believe they are making a profit if you can get your hands on that caviar. Otherwise mousekeying grimy avantoe cleaning would be very good as well The next best thing that isn't a button masher is probably ranging potions the thing is, training herblore efficiently means having a good eye on the economy. Even more so with barbarian mixes. Caviar traded fine when I was training herblore. Perhaps you just caught a bad time of year to train. I've never sold super def mixes, but perhaps you just caught a bad time of year again. ranging mixes made profit when i made them, once again, you caught a bad time of year. The next time a merch clan buys up ranging potions, ranging mixes will skyrocket as well the thing is, ranging mixes crash much slower than ranging potions. so when ranging potions are cheap again, ranging mixes will still be expensive, hence yielding profit. yes you need to do 2000 ranging mix potions per hour to achieve 100k xp/hour, which I can personally do by hand. Presumably even higher rates can be achieved with use of mouse keys, and the fact that you can left click caviar now. the trick is getting the ranging potions(2). I bought them straight off GE and got my friends to make (3) and (4) dose potions into (2)'s for me in exchange for buying their junk So barbarian mixes, like all other herblore training methods boils down to whether or not it's actually a good time to be training herblore with this method of training. as of right now, apparently not. But that isn't always the case. when barbarian mixes are good... they are REALLY good though.- Crystal Key profit margins (100 tests)
it seems prices have fluctuated here is wikia's thread no it: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Crystal_chest wikia claims average loss though, and a sample size of 1750 keys who knows what it actually is though, but i still wouldn't invest in it.- Barbarian potions
I got 99 herblore off ranging mixes(2) and antifire mixes(2), and made around 100-200m profit on the way, so it is indeed a viable training method if you know what you're doing. they are not very slow, they can be 100k-200k xp/hour. They are not make-x so you can achieve insane xp rates IF you can manage flurry button clicks they do sell slowly from my experience it also varies depending on the economy you can sell some by lending godswords they also sell VERY quickly right after a merch clan buys up the right potions (ranging mixes(2) will sell if a clan merches ranging potions) caviar does sell, i got enough for 99 herbloer after all.- Good way to train smithing
yeap, but if u want mining xp, it's still efficient smithing xp.- Good way to train smithing
use zarfot's smelt gold ores @ furnace while casting superheat gold ores at the same time method or the living rock caverns superheat gold ores while you mine it method both using gold gaunts of course- Good way to train smithing
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tYLj4VK6eDYMp9ZOJ-zbwyA&output=html- Adamant Arrowtips
Because they're 3gp profit per experience when making addy arrows, so everyone is hoarding them. psh everybody is so quick to blame it on hoarding they probably are, but for good reason. the price cap is too low, that's why they don't sell but why don't you just put like 6 offers of addy arrowtips in GE and just wait i've already purchased about 200k addy arrowtips in the last 2 months lol not saying it'll be quick, but if you're not in a rush for fletching levels, this is the way to go.- Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
dunno what other people said, but my reasoning is that it's very hard to take GP away from players on the other hand, it's really easy to just add coin drops to monsters, and as rewards for quests/minigames and such any opportunity to deflate the economy should be taken, because it can both be easily undone and gives game devs more liberty in update rewards.- Adamant Arrows
I'll do this and buy junk/lend you godswords :P- Fastest way to 99 in each skill - spreadsheet
my bad, was looking at the wrong spreadsheet  it's 471k xp/hour if it takes you 5 seconds in between for banking 360k is for cooking them on a range, assuming 0 burning, if it takes you 5 seconds in between for banking- rumour about chaotic weapons
because i don't know that multiple monsters attacking you drains the weapon faster yet. like I said, I haven't tested that part yet. secondly, jagex has never fixed any bugs i've reported, ever I've submitted 4 bug reports on a bug with the platypus that can be exploited to prevent players from being hit when they are attacking from a range over the course of 2 years Jagex never fixed it for the platypus, even though they did for other pets. - 15 June 2010 - Ancient effigies
