  1. if you wear a spottier cape, it means you can replace other clothing with metal armor and still maintain 0kg. that would help a fair bit. edit: oh wait ardy cape helps with ZMI runecrafting doesn't it? if so keep the ardy cape.
  2. i'd be a reaver, and honestly im surprised there aren't more. gamers tend to be more liberal than the game designers. it's too easy to call yourself neutral, when almost nobody is
  3. anybody have research on what % of arrows are captured by ava's accumulator?
  4. We'd lose a good number of players, and there would be alot of rioting, but things would eventually go back to normal. only reason jagex hasn't done this is because there is nothing to gain from doing so.
  5. dorgeshuun rich chests would be 300k+ thieving xp/hour along with 600k+ gp/hour were it not for the world hop timer for example. That and i'm sure there are plenty of other ways to exploit this.
  6. so there are faint vertical lines to the left side of my banking/GE/etc screens at first i thought it was a monitor problem, but then I prnt scrned and found that the lines move around when I drag the image around it's nothing big, the lines are extremely faint, but enough to bother me when i see them. so, is this just me?
  7. thieving barely breaks 200k xp/hour? whereas cooking rocktails earns 300k/hour with profits and wines earn 400k xp/hour and thieving takes much more effort i don't see how there could possibly be any doubt over cooking being the easiest 99 :P
  8. yes, there is one somewhere. Sorry I can't look it up for you though. It's either on TIP forums or zybez i just did a search on zybez and it's not there though, so try searching the guides section for "excel" that is a strange bug that happens for some numbers, but not for others what i like to do is apply the following code to the number: rounddown(1.000000000001*number) it's probably not the most efficient way to handle the issue, but it handles the issue :P you'd have to learn how to make your own websites, which is out of my scope :) sign(number) if the number is positive it returns 1 if the number is negative, it returns -1 the importhtml should import the price changes in GE as positive and negative values if this doesn't work you could apply a substitution chain but that would be ridiculously cumbersome beyond all imagination :) then again there's probably other methods even beyond that
  9. the weapons seem to degrade per use, not due to being in combat. What do you mean? i did a cannon task that lasted say ~40 mintues? since i was cannoning i was basically in combat the entire time (i believe in combat = being attacked or attacking) but my rapier only drained from 100% to 99% I believe it was because I was really busy running around looting, and reloading my cannon and I did not spend as much time actually stabbing the monsters with my rapier so i believe the weapons have a set number of times you can attack an enemy. additionally it's worth noting that when i said that the rapier lasted 20+ hours, i meant 20+ hours of constant attacking. I'm not the person who loots a monster before moving on to attack another monster. I know the trick where you move 2 tiles while attacking a monster to not interrupt combat, and i use that technique to loot. so i'd say the rapier lasts ~20 hours of constant combat.
  10. the weapons seem to degrade per use, not due to being in combat.
  11. mm thanks for the info :P yeah, i still keep a list and PM them as I form dungeon groups, and i've pretty much dunged with all of them so i trust them but still it's hard to find 5 ppl, for the same floors, even with a list of 30 some solid dungeoneers.
  12. i recorded the data for the base xp, solo, of floors 1-28 assuming that base xp of a floor is related to the prestige you get (which seems reasonable since if you're prestige 35, and you just did floor 35, the base xp = the prestige xp) the multiplier tapirs off starts off with floor 2 = 1.35x more base xp than floor 1? something like that anywhoo it declines to 1.08 eventually at around floor 28 someone said that the prestige xp doubles every 10 prestige which would indicate a multiplier of 1.07177 which isnt inaccurate, but i think the xp rate takes more than 10 prestige to double i'll see if i can't get my data in a bit. edit: oh you asked for more data 5:5 large on floor 40, 40 prestige should be ~75k xp 5:5 large on floor 50, 50 prestige should be ~150k xp 5;5 large on floor 60, 60 prestige, should be ~300k xp
  13. What, 23m will take forever =/ I think I'll use yew at most look up eucalyptus too, they pretty much get the same xp as yews (slightly less) they're usually more efficient to burn than yews, since eucalyptus logs are only useful for burning.
  14. I'll forgive them if it's dung batch 2 next week <_<
  15. bring varrock teleport runes firemake from the center of varrock, and it should bring you to the bank bank there and teleport back saves you the time of running back and forth
  16. abyssal demons, black demons, basically all demons are weak to magic (except kril tsutsaroth) abyssal demons are particularly good due to their high melee defense.
  17. Ahrims: hood is kinda meh the staff is useless the top + bottom are the best robes ever so if you're gonna mage, you pretty much wanna use ahrims (or FOG combat robes if you wanna save money) Veracs: veracs is the only set with a prayer bonus the skirt is the best barrows skirt, and I wear it pretty much for everything in slayer. That or monkrobes bottoms if def doesnt matter. rest of veracs is situationally useful
  18. hey, I love your guide btw. but you really should finish it, it really deserves more than to be locked up in the beginning guide section :) ps you might want to consider dorgeshuun rich chests for thieving brawlers. they're 160k xp/hour including time spent world hopping i just don't know if there are enough PVP worlds for even 1 player to go around using this training method though
  19. longbow because longbows in dungeoneering aren't like longbows in runescape. Dungeoneering longbows have a speed rating of 5 whereas runescape longbows have a speed rating of 4 a shortbow on rapid still fires 33% faster than a longbow on rapid in dungeoneering, but the longbow's accuracy lets me wield it through a platebody, and still hit accurately. i can't be bothered to make ranged armor during the mdidle of dungeon, so my ranged accuracy bonus would typically be low in the first place.
  20. there was a jagex quote a while back saying it would be unlikely for you to need more than 5000 kills to get an onyx, but i don't have that quote i'm inclined to believe the average # of tokkul per kill is on the order of 1k for the guards. you can probably determine the # of hours based on kill rates.
  21. you should first heal yourself up, then drink 1 additional dose of saradomin brew once you are full hp then drink an overload then drink 2 more saradomin brews. here's some more info that would interest you but you didnt hear it from me *cough*. http://forums.zybez.net/topic/1384990-when-to-overload-at-gwd/
  22. what are you using the overloads for?
  23. JaGeX: "Wellllp! We did our update for the month! We'll be eatting tea and crumpets today and tomorrow so we can't even go to our site and post whether or not there will be an update. Have fun playing in dung guys." we already got our no update week for this month yes? and FTP was presumably our big update i guess that leaves 2 small updates for the next 2 weeks
  24. killing monsters doesnt increase base xp, only openning new rooms does that
