  1. Guys, for some reason I can't edit my suggestion. I've tried it a couple of times and every time I get sent to editting a "black square". I can't see, or change any of the text, including, obviously, support list and my sequel idea, which I've mostly written down already.
  2. Well, incase you didn't know, exaggeration is used everywhere, including Litrature, articles and essays. You even use it with your friends and relatives quite often. "Mom! I've been waiting at the Cinema for YEARS now! You're late!". Obviously, you've not been waiting there for years, not even a whole day, and probably under 30 minutes. But still, you said you have. Exaggeration is, in no way, a way of invalidating an article. That being said, it was mostly not true, although he has SOME sort of point. What he's trying to say is that this game is addicting, and that those of you who play it too much, should "lay off" of it for a while.
  3. If an idea like that one was ever to be implemented, the requirements would have to be terribly, terribly hard to get to, and should not only be based on completing different tasks, but, possibly, on your total exp, total level, and more. A somewhat bad example would be: Unlock all songs. Complete every single challenge scroll. Get the 5 most 'expensive' (point-wise) items of every mini-game. Have atleast 4 99s. Have atleast 80-90M total exp. Complete all quests. Must fight and kill all boss monsters in-game. Have atleast 1,900 total. That's just an example, and I'm doubt it's enough, but in order for such an idea to be implemented, it must gurantee in 99% that RWT will not be abused. Also, seeing the requirements in my example (which, as said, are barely enough), make this idea almost pointless. Only very, VERY skilled and experienced accounts could use it, and only with other experienced accounts.
  4. Don't let Compfreak discourage you, he tends to do that a lot. I do too think your idea is imbalanced, but I'm sure if you worked on it you could find a solution. Perhaps go with a percentage fee, so that it wouldn't matter if you're skilled or not. say about 25-35% of the item/s' fee.
  5. [hide=] Not in the case of Defense Pures. Using the tip.it max hit calc, even a (impossible) 300 strength bonus would allow us to hit a max of 2. Because of this, we need to use other resources to train. however, i could have sworn that although in some cases str might not increase your max hit, it still increases accuracy- such as in the case of an obby mauler. You know, I think you just MAY be right. I remember, very long ago, when the Strength pures trend was rather new, that I tried making an Attack/Defence pure. I figured (back then) that being almost untouchable with high Defence, and hit constant 1s, I could kill Strength pures easily. I found out that even though my attack was rather high, my accuracy wasn't as good as I expected- Killing barbarians turned into something of great effort, even with 40-45 Attack. I know there is not a place that says Strength affects your accuracy, but who knows? the only good atk/defense pures that i know of are verac pures- mainly for staking also- through years of playing, watching videos, and reading guides, i have concluded that a higher str bonus increases accuracy in almost all cases. feel free to argue with me, but if i ever make a defense pure, he'll be training in full str gear, not torags. [/hide] Reading skills fail. I said you could be right, I never said you're wrong or tried to argue over it...
  6. I looked at the other comments. What a great joke. I agree that it's not very funny. But it still was a joke.

  8. Oh my god, it was a joke! You really should look at other comments. Finaly someone agrees with me...
  9. Nope, it's right behind the windmill in Lumbridge.
  10. [hide=] Or, it could be simply a joke... Which it is. could also be what someones parents said to them Just look at the disclaimer. Blog disclaimers are what bloggers hide behind when there is too much backlash to what they wrote. I know people who basically spend all their spare time blogging. I can almost guarantee that this person meant everything that was written. You have to realize that bloggers are neither reasonable nor responsible. It's not like they're newspaper reporters. The only person they have to answer to is themselves and the first thing they do when people complain is point to their disclaimer in an attempt to absolve themselves of any responsibility for what they wrote. [/hide] I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. If anyone writes something they truely believe in, and wants it to be read by others, he'd want them to believe in what he says. Even "irresponsible" bloggers. When a disclaimer such as the one at the top of the article is the first thing you read before reading what they wrote, they cannot, in any way, be taken seriously, EVEN if they did mean everything they wrote. For this reason, I more than doubt this blogger meant what he/she wrote. For instance, here's what the disclaimer said (even though I already posted this earlier). I let myself underline anything that hints that it's a mere joke:
  11. Yep, a tad bit less. This thread follows 101 weeks, 2 years is 104 weeks.
  12. Or, it could be simply a joke... Which it is. could also be what someones parents said to them Just look at the disclaimer.
  13. Do you mean the only male name? Because there is Hannah.... And Anna. And, as already mentioned, Eve.
  14. =D> =D> <--The art deserves that! The dairy was good, it's a shame they don't make diaries as interesting as this one when it comes to content... From experience, I know atleast one of you who read this was going to quote me and say "A new Fairy Tale series?! Now THAT's content!" or something along those lines. I'm not saying it's not a big deal, only that this dairy wasn't around content, it was around artwork and graphics.

  16. You see, that's why I made it, so that people could have both a helmet/hat/whatever and the aura. As for the slot, I'm already planning another suggestion as to evil horns and such, it was not made for only one item. My next suggestion goes hand in hand with this one, I might even add it in right here, instead of making another thread. Well, you have to remember, even the least customizable slots (Boots, gloves, rings, amulets, etc.) Still have well over twenty items that can be placed in them. A new slot is really hard to accomplish well and have it not be too overpowered. I see. You have a point, I have to think about it some more. Although I can still see this happen, and I guess the mini-game could offer more than 1 item for that slot. The idea of the slot is add items that have absolutly no stats, but special bonuses and good looks : . I must also say that when JaGeX chooses to implement other people's suggestions, they only take the idea in general, and perhaps pick a few bits of the player's suggestion, and the rest is their creation.

  18. Well, I can see you invested some time in this, and the idea in general has potential. A few problem that prevent me from supporing: 1.It seems that skilling in here would be too easy. That's a major problem, especially since rocks and a tanner are so close to a bank. 2.You need to fish your fish and then release them so that your clan could fish these all over again? Or did I get it wrong? If I didn't, then Fishing should not be a part of this suggestion. 3.What if I kill the monsters there? Do they respawn? Do I get drops? How hard is it to add monsters to my CV? 4.You had way too many "maybe"s in your post. You should read it again, I don't like reading a post of someone who's not sure his suggestion deserves to be written. I can see why you would have trouble thinking about SOME things, I can see why you'd add a "maybe" every now and then, but you can't expect me, or the readers to decide on everything. 5.How would clan competitions work? Are they scheduled by JaGeX, or are those spontaneous, and decided on by players/clans? 6.What about the trophies? How hard is it to achieve any? 7.How do skill competitions work? 8.Are trophies unique, or can any clan win any trophy by winning a certain competition? If so, how many and what types of trophies are there? Meh, too many problems than I thought I had in mind. But if you can solve all of these, count me in ;) .
  19. For some reason, I love your supports! You deserve a cookie! \
  20. Actualy, that's not a problem. If your private chat is off they cannot PM you, only when it's on. What the suggestion is offering is a simple click&answer system. For those who have big friends list, and for those who get PMs while their chat is ON, and cannot add a person/ would not like to add a person, and still want to answer.
  21. As a matter of fact, #6 adds and manages the, oh so needed, atmosphere this game has. Unlike many other games, RuneScape is maintaining it's ambience of medieval age, even when a stock market (Grand Exchange), extremely developed banks, and papers worth millions on peoples' heads (PartyHats), are around.
  22. Or, it could be simply a joke... Which it is.
