  1. I still think non combat skills should not have to much of an effect on combat, especially PVP.
  2. Perfect runescape world. I have unlimited cash, thats the perfect world for me. Who needs PVP loot when you have all the cash you need. Also i agree with the oblivion thing, lol

  4. What are these living rock caverns i have never heard about.
  5. Less tedium more... Fun.
  6. Bad homophone jagex! Actually, to be honest its probably censored because they ARE used as insults. Regardless of weather or not there are people like that in the world.
  7. Extra long quest arcs should be a shootable offense unless you plan to finish it within a 2-3 years.
  8. I donno, I think pures will still find a way.

Wow this thread got to 30 pages? So what are we/you on about now?
  10. ZGS Freezes for melee, and u get stunning bolts from ranged. ZGS is cheap?. :|
  11. I don't like many of the updates. If we don't ask for them, don't do it.
  12. Seeing as most PKers, do make use of at least 2 combat stats, alot of the time 3, all of them are useful. Not all of them are balanced though.
  13. I agree with the activity bar. Some people are better off when they freeload.
  14. Its even funnier when you end up with more energy than they do, and can do it almost indefinitely.
  15. If it was against the rules. I'm sure they would state it. But its not, its merely annoying, a few people are losing like 10k or something, some people are getting rich... Its not against the rules.

Because i for one, don't like quests, and wouldn't mind a slightly better tradelimit.

I only support relaxing the trade limits slightly. Questers get enough rewards. A cool cape, great rewards, (Tormented demons) etc. Having total XP not mean anything is a slap in the face for non questers. Seeing as most skills are just money sinks. Also the person buying the gold needs high stats as well, and if they do have high stats, it not like they would care about 60-100k... Especially at a risk of bannage.

Quests don't "show" how long someone has played either. My pure has played far more than some of my friends with well over 100 QP, and i have around 50... Experience/total level is a far better judge of how long someone has played than quests, which i find most people don't like. Why would someone bot, and then buy money on that botted account, its stupid because chances are you are paying for money that will be gone once you are caught botting. Also even if they did want to RWT, people trade millions at a time, so it still wouldn't be very efficient. My main point is that XP/level is a far better way of telling how experienced someone is at the game than quests.
  19. What do you think of me? \ Actually, dont answer, some things are best left unknown. Personally i think people are just bored when they decide to go to a rant and tear it apart. Every now and then theres a rant like "this person won't leave my hunting spot, is my spot" and "this person called me a noob" and "this person decided to actually use tactics in FOG" And we decide to post on it because we are bored. And to be honest, we seem to find satisfaction in every debate we "win" even if it was lost from the start. Also I think if they are angry enough to post something in the rants forum, then its a valid rant. Of course a great deal of rants i disagree with... and if someone like quelmotz decides to have a differing view from mine (very common) i net myself a good post count.
  20. Its not against the rules. It may be actively discouraged, and they might make a rule against it if it was easy to prove and there wouldn't be such a backlash. The fact remains that it isnt against the rules.

Wasn't really hard to contradict your statement. I really think QP requirement for bigger trade opportunities is a good move by Jagex. It makes players do quests which take time and skilling time prior to do doing them, a nice reward for those who invest some time in the game. It gives new player a goal to reach of they want more from their friends. It also makes it fairer for those of us who don't have same player interaction between 2 accounts. It means that what you have is basically what you earned. What's wrong with that? Sorry for not clarifying. I meant QP as a trade limit sucks. Some people don't like quests, a great deal of people (skillers, pures the like) simply can't do quests. But EVERYONE gets skills up in runescape, everyone, so XP/level should in some way matter. How can you say getting a skill up is not earning it? Sure you can bot the skill, but you wouldn't bother to RWT if you were already botting. And if you did get your skills up normally you deserve a half way decent trade limit.
  22. I... Don't... Know...
  23. Sir_Kurity replied to Gerbil's topic in Rants
Forgive me if i have no idea what your on about. Basically, i see no disadvantage for the trade limit to be based off total XP. Prehaps less for skills like cooking, etc, but it seems better than QP. I've said it once, and I'll say it again - SKILLS ARE NOT anti-bot. Quests are. Enough said. BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER. IF YOU BOT, THEN YOUR NOT GOING TO RWT WHEN YOU CAN JUST BOT YOUR MONEY. NO PEOPLE USING BOTS MIGHT STILL WANT TO ABUSE THEIR "POWER" BY TRADING LARGE AMOUNTS OF $$$ TO THEIR FRIENDS, GIVING THEM AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE. SO THERE. Two questions. 1) what has this little bot argument have to do with the title of this thread? 2) WHY IS EVERYTHING IN CAPS? Ask Estorrath. He started both arguments. I don't know why he typed out everything in caps. I typed everything in caps because you basically repeated the same thing you said, last time, and forgot completely about my argument, so caps might have hammered the point through. Turns out it did. Anyway, the advantage in the game would be negligible, if someone has a high enough total level then a high tradelimit wouldn't really mean much to him, Also if someone botting is constantly trading with him every 15 minutes he could be accused of real world trading. Not everyone likes quests, but almost everyone skills, even if it is to do the quests. Prehaps a combination of quests and XP, but seriously quests suck.
  24. Look, they talk about merchanting clans (price manipulators), and say its not illegal, but discouraged. Don't delude yourself and think they are talking about legitimate merchanting clans.
