Firemaking Useless
Just as useless as smithing, crafting, etc.

wait wait, heavy armour mages?
Alot of mages have a really good shield, with maybe a good body armor, helmet, whatever. If the rest is mage gear it all sorta works out.

Str vs Atk vs Def
Strength. If you had 99 str, the rest would come really easily because you would hit so high. If you had 99 attack with no str, you would still hit tiny. If you had 99 defence with no str/atk, you would still hit tiny... But then again, you can go AFK places.

1000+ Worlds
I don't know, making it easier for higher levels to train and not making it any easier for lower levels seems a bit off to me. Sorta reminds me of the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Meh, i have 1000+, so im not complaining. First impressions, willows have tiny people in comparison to normal worlds.

Crushing and stabbing weapons almost useless (round 2)
Well, i haven't read any of the responses in this thread, im far to lazy. But here are my 2 cents. Almost EVERY monster, (and armor) should have insane defense levels for one of magic, ranged, stabbing, crushing, or slashing, or, preferably a combination of those. And to make the slow weapons not useless (think 2h) attack values should be made considerably higher on those, and defence levels on most monsters should also rise. In contrast, almost every monster should have, naturally, a weakness. In which it is far more easier to hit. And may even grant a damage bonus if you use applicable weapon. Of course, for an armorless mob who is easy to hit, whip/scimmy would still come out on top, and who really cares, i dont mind if they have the highest DPS on some/most monsters, it still gives crushing and stabbing weapons a use, unlike now where there are only a few monsters where its worth using something other than a scimmy/whip. This would leave whip/scimmy still pretty much the best all round weapon for DPS, and shouldn't cause undue price changes, but would still give crushing and stabbing weapons a use. For example. Things like skeletons should be pretty darn impossible to hit with ranged, stabbing weapons, and slashing weapons. But should be particularly weak against magic and crushing. Things like knights should again, take very little damage from slashing, but increased chance to be hit with stabbing, and particularly crushing.

NERD
Nerd is just another word for noob. Some days, you gotta accept that people are stupid, and get on with your day... As hard as that may be.

75king does not include credit card fraud, unless you happen to be as thick as the nearest brick wall and twice as ugly.

How Easy Do You Want It?
GE is great for merchanting. No more standing in varrock west bank and square, which by the way was a real lagfest back in the day, trying to sell your stuff for 50k more. Typing it out again and again... And again, and then people trade you, you put it up, ask for money, they walk away.... GE is great.

Extreme pots in Pvp
Yea, excuse me if i don't want to spend 50 million to have a chance in PVP combat. A non combat skill should not have such an effect in PVP. Especially if its such an expensive skill like herblore.
-
Firemaking Useless
Not completely useless. To be perfectly honest, i think both smithing, cooking, fletching, and crafting are pretty useless skills in a single player perspective.
-
Mining Sucks (round 2)
Fletching is not easy. I had more than enough money to get to 99, easily. I only ever got to 85 (25%) before i nearly killed myself and decided to quit on my whole lets get a 99 phase.

Handcannon and other failed range updates
Unless this game has changed alot since i left, ranged would still win verses melee.

Jagex doesn't care about player opinion
They changed extreme pots. And that was in like, a day.

Tip.it Times 18 October 2009
Because, not only is it a non combat skill. But people don't want to grind for 10 hours and spend like. 50 million to not get owned by everyone who does grind for 10 hours and spend like 50 million. Claws arent as oh my godly as everyone thinks they are, and at least its not a skill.

Extreme pots in Pvp
Some minigames i would say... FOG, fight caves? or similar i don't think so. But castle wars/soul wars or similar is fine by me.
-
Extreme pots in Pvp
Um sorry, what? I assumed it didn't work in PVP or minigames.

Merging pure and rune ess and fixing them at a price of, say, 120 each, and announcing that they will do it in two weeks time will have these effects; - People massively dump their pure essence in the GE to rapidly buy rune essence, hoping to get a bit of extra cash, will result in both pure and rune essence creeping closer to the 120 GP per piece limit... - Both rune and pure essence will be worth roughly the same (around 120) for a short period of time, and while Pure essence is not mined on P2P, rune essence is all of a sudden mined on F2P cuz it snow good profit... - Runecrafters might buy the now cheaper Pure ess to make P2P only runes, which causes those to fall in price as well... - The merge happens and the price is held steady at 120 GP for two days, after which it is allowed to fluctuate again... - The Rune essence price will sink to the pre-merge levels of around 40 each... The only people shafted in this is are the F2P RuneCrafters who will have to put their hobby on hold for two weeks, and those who still cling to large piles of Pure Essence (an item which has only a single purpose besides being held for merchanting)... I fail to see the harm in doing this... Because i have 85k gop tokens that i wan't to cash in when im member again, thats why.

Extreme pots in Pvp
Yea, it just shouldn't. Its really just forcing people to grind more and be extremely rich to get to full power in PVP. I'm glad its nerfed.
