  1. What are you on? Its there job to listen to our ramblings.

My point is that its far easier to make money at a higher level, and that even WITH merchanting, which is hardly fail safe and makes crap money at "1 mill" killing green dragons or something while waiting for your item to rise is far more effective than cutting yews/doing some other crap skill for money while waiting for your item to rise. So yes, it is harder to make money as a low level, because among the best ways to make money are from combat, and the only things that are comparable skillwise is double nats, rune mining, GOP (if your really good) and maybe a few others, all of which (except for GOP) require extremely high levels when compared to combat.

You need a lot of money/luck/reallypro/scamclan to make decent money merchanting. Until then, combat is the easiest way to make money.

If the community doesnt think pmods are picked properly, then theres something wrong. By the way, what are you on about with the whole open invitation thing.

What you have said just proved the topics point, it is more about status than purpose.

Whilst this thread is boring he brings up a valid point. There are some challenges in being a skiller but the main reason people decide to make a skillers is for bragging rights/ shortcut to getting famous. They know they can't reach zezima status the fail at making RSMV's so they skill it up in hopes to get 'omg woah no waiii a lvl 3 with 99 cooking' Yet they fail to realize cooking has no combat relavance thus who cares what lvl you have cooking cape at. This goes for the same thing as..OMG LVL 3 WITH SANTA#!@$#!. Since when does making money have to do with combat. ik i always tell that to the noobs who are in complete awe if a lvl 3 has 99 fm or something. isnt the only reason combat is shown because it was important to see how powerful the people around you were? otherwise i'm sure the combat level next to the name wouldn't be there. If you ask me total level/xp should be shown there. Unless in pvp.
  7. If its 500k over alch value, you should need to click alch, then ok to alch it. Because you don't practically alch something that crap.

The only part of the post i disagree with. Combat is THE easiest way to make money. You can make good money with very little stats, while skilling requires insanely high levels to make any decent money.
  9. 5050 works the same as it has always done, except now the 5050ers need to constantly repel or hug their color orb for each altar instead of just touching once, then they go back to afking. That's about it, activity bar didn't do anything to stop it. Meep! :ohnoes:  You can sometimes get the ones who are afk booted off the team by repelling their orb when they hug during 5050s. That would require you to be in a 50/50. And if your crashing anyway you wouldn't really care about the afkers, they won't get any tokens anyway.
  10. Just wondering... Why is this in beginning guides?

If you ask me, the whole pmod community thing is just jagex's way of saying, we don't want wannabe mods. But, non pmods can still organize events, i don't see why organizing an event as a pmod would be any different from a non pmod, why do you need a crown?
  12. Yea the only way they can really lose is bad luck or if they versing other good people :ohnoes:
  13. It does get annoying though. It seems at blue dragons theres always someone with 30 range thinking wow i can kill a dragon and taking about 15 minutes. (I know i was one of the people) Anyway, it really ticks people off.

Pmods can do there job without a crown! Why do they need it then?
  15. No, most people i attack in clan wars are somewhere between level 60-100 and im level 58 myself. Yes, i know fire blast and bind is low damage and all, thats why im saying snare and fire wave IS a good thing, but does not need splitbark. We don't need gear that fits up to level 40 if we already had snare and fire wave. By the way, try far casting in clan wars, i can bind once from a distance, let off 2 spells, run away and trap him behind a wall, fire more spells until he walks around the wall, and bind him again while running back around the wall. Without walls its a matter of bind, fire twice, bind fire twice, bind fire once, and then bind fire twice again. Sure i do little damage, but i can still kick they [wagon] most of the time. Thats with only 63 magic, no defense, and no prayer. So fire blast good, snare good splitbark overpowered. With snare you can quite easily snare once, and unleash 3 spells before you need to start running again, thats good enough. Range doesnt need yew bows, they need some sort of KO, though.
  16. Most: Probably firemaking, f2p prayer, mining, and some forms of fletching. Least: Almost definitely combat, followed by fishing and woodcutting.
  17. Thats unfair, you can't be sure that they just want a "high level friend" who knows maybe they are just being nice If you ask me, its pretty obviously Random: Whats your >Insert skill here< Level? High level: My >Insert skill here< level is 99. Random: Friends?!!

"earning" is reporting like any player would do, in other words they didn't really earn it, they were just lucky that jagex spotted them instead of the 50000 other nice reporting players.
  19. Haha, ever tried pking in varrock square and spamming the varrock teleport button while binding. It would be cool if i could do that everywhere o.o
  20. If you ask me, multi combat is for everyone. And isnt a clan even worse, what would you rather one void ranger stealing your kills, or 2 void rangers stealing your kills.
  21. I think snare and fire wave is good. Splitbark isn't so good. I can already, with only 63 magic pretty much dominate any fighter in a clan war with just bind and fire blast, even if my bind fails a few times they can never really hit me more than twice in a row. Combined with split bark, which is better defense and magic bonus, my bind/snare would never miss, and that would be far to overpowered.
  22. So, your saying im not allowed to steal your monster?
  23. I can tell you from experience (many of my friends were avid botters) that decent macros are very random, that one was probably just some kid with a bad bot.
