First Article: nice synopsis of the events right around the new year. He forgot to mention that apparently what keeps zaros soldiers from attacking you is bonuses. It seems to be about ~200 defense in a certain catagory + overload makes that type of combat unagressive. I managed to get rangers, meleers, and reavers to unagro me with nietz, dhide top and chaps, BSS, D boots, Fury, Sw cape, zerker ring, and Overloads. Pretty good, considering the mages were the ones I wanted to kill. Second Article: I agree that the difference between solo and team dungoneering seems unbalanced. I will say though, that unlike most other skills, it is readily apparent when someone is bad at dungoneering. I have been doing floors on 117 lately, mostly with a few friends who are a much lower level then I am at dungeoneering. Usually, I start the team so I just get the ggs right away, and I am always the Keyer. It is astounding the number of leeches or overall bad players on 117. I average about 12 DG levels higher then anyone else on the teams I make, but on 117, it seems that DG level is no barrier to how well you can DG. Strangely enough though, the worst of the DGers on 117 are ~80 DG, and ridiculously proud that they just got their CLS or something. They leeched and hogged food all the way to their first 2mil xp and they don't seem to know any other way to dungeoneer. They also have been doing it so long that the behavior has sunk in, and they can't be convinced it is actually faster to give the keyer/other players some of their BOB full of salves when we are running on 3 web snippers. I found the same phenomenon in Barbarian Assault. I love that Minigame, and whenever I play it, I take the low teams that no one else wants. Any 120s spamming the chat with "Any Here, need another torso, someone take me OMFG" at BA get ignored by me, and I usually find the ~90s who have experiencing BA for the first time. Far easier to teach a new player the right way to play then it is to break the habit of someone who has been doinitwrong for quite a while. /rant

Yeah, that was alot of graves. My total count was 5 in about an hour b4 I left to get my untrimmed hp. 3 graves were back to back to back lol. I edited my post to include charms needed approx, and total costs.

Ok, I can help you out with the battle robes question. I have a spare hood and bottom if you want to buy for trade price. I too have been bursting rock lobs for charms. One thing you might think about if you are strapped for cash. Bursting is about 1/2 the cost of barraging. You get slower charms, but it also costs less which is nice if you are poorer, or if you have a fail magic level like I do and cant barrage lol. Also, its 275 tokens to recharge Battle robes. 150 for top, 100 for legs, 25 for hood. It did fog for about 3 hours last night, and got enough for 2 recharges. That was in members FOG, and I didn't lose a single game. The street value of B robes is around 5-6mil a set atm. Like I said, I managed to snipe a bottoms and hood from ge after about 2 days (hood took 15 mins, bottoms took 2 days). Then I found someone via RSOF who sold me the full set for 3.2mil cash. Should cost about 1mil if you buy the tiny pieces. (500g) Make 800 lava titans. Great xp, kill tzhaar for tokkul and collect the charms. Doesn't really take that long. Make 3k swamp titans. Lizards should cost 5.2mil or so. Shards Needed: 170k shards = 42mil. Swap at Ogre guy and get 70% back. Net shard loss: 12.5mil (503k shards lost, rest swapped back and resold to pet shop owner) Total loss: 22mil approx, if you count bananas as well. [/hide]

99 Hp!! Untrimmed :D [hide=lots of pics + convo] I also had an interesting "conversation" with someone. I have been bursting at rock lobs, and I was 4k off of 99 hp. So I went back to edgeville, and was wondering what to kill. I grabbed rapier and void and headed down to the chaos druids dungeon to finish off the xp. But I got tired of running around chasing druids and having people beat me to them. I hadn't banked my Battle robes, Sol, Asn, and runes from bursting, so I put them back on and started Ice Blitzing druids from the middle of the room. Pretty soon, this guy starts talking. After he said a few things, I started taking screenshots, and then provoking him so I could get a few more screenshots. :P Funny conversation followed. I admit. Ever notice that the people from jagex screenshots never seem to have decent gear on. Especially the Dragon Defender screen shot, or fighting nex in full ceremonial. And this, some mid level member is all the way up there in fremmy land, but has apparently not finished lost city, or fremmy trails for a d long and zerker helm. Just unusual to me. I might pick up a few pairs of gloves so I can quickly finish off melee. That would be nice.

ur inefficient br0. I think the slowest skills would be the best to max first. Slayer, Agility..etc. But certainly start with Slayer. Use the Effigies to lob millions of exps off your others. U wouldn't even be able to say this a few years ago, because nobody used to slay back then. Let's face it; it was a crap skill, back then you HAD to do the tasks that got assigned to you if you wanted to progress in slayer. Some people were already long underway cb wise at that time (like me), so I wouldn't have come close to 200m slayer either way if I had started slaying when those updates came out that now makes slayer a wise choice to train such as able to cancel tasks, effigies, kuradal etc. But ok, gl ignoring those facts lmfao. In a few years, people will be calling Suomi inefficient for having 200m agil/fish already when an update has come out that allows fishing and agil to be trained at the same time at a much more profitable/efficient/bla bla bla way. And then someone else will be praised; someone who doesn't have 200m fish and agil yet, who plays alot ---> and so, who is able to make good use of that update. How about you wake up some braincells and think about those facts instead of calling me inefficient. Infact, were you even around/able to understand the game enough to be aware of this a few years ago? Lol. Truth is, everybody needs to have something to complain about on every top player. I'm looking to get 96 Summoning, and I have the charms for 93 currently. I figured out I need about 6k crimson charms. Does anyone have some figures for how many charms you get per 1k bursts at rock lobs? Using Sol and Battle robes for the 50% rune saving, and will be using Wolpertinger spec as well. I already have the tokens for like 3 battle robe recharges from a long time ago in Fist of Guthix, so that isn't an issue. 9-lob spot used, obviously. I had a response a few weeks ago to the article about the poll, but due to real life, I forgot to post it when the forums came back on line after new years. Here it is: I think there is something missing from both of these articles though. The fact that the wilderness and free trade vote was set up the way it was may not have been entirely stupidity by Jagex. If you read the referendum, it says “We received a petition of 1.2M votes in less than 24 hours!” It named the original vote as a petition. Now petitions usually only require a signature. You sign your name in a long list of names, and then you are done. And it is easily possible to keep going back, and signing more names. John Smith, Joe Smith, Jack Smith, etc. This phase one of the vote was exactly that. First there was a petition to gauge the interest, and then the new ruling/law/idea goes before a panel and gets refined and written up fully. Now, this new idea has taken shape, and the changes that might be implemented are released to be ratified in a more controlled and verifiable manner. To the people that claim that it was a bit for a Guinness World Record, it is a silly claim. First of all, being the world record holder of some obscure title would generate pretty much 0 publicity. Second, I doubt that there is even a title for largest internet poll, or largest volume of votes in a specified time frame for some poll, or whatever type of record whoever crafted this rumor claimed Jagex was going for. Thinking that this was some desperate bid for a world record is just silly. tl;dr: Petitions are by nature easy to abuse, so the fact that this one was is not a surprise. A petition/poll is used all the time to gauge interest, and all are easy to manipulate. This is a known fact about petitions. Claiming it was a World Record attempt is ridiculousness. Also, having 4 options on this vote would be rather pointless. Think about the reasons for the removal of free trade and the wilderness/staking. They were removed to attempt to eradicate RWT because Jagex felt it was ruining the game/losing money to credit cards/bad for everyone. Now, both were removed for the same reason. To reintroduce one of these aspects of the game would remove all of the reasons for removal of the other. e.g. Giving back the Wilderness, but not allowing Free Trade would make the removal of Free Trade an utterly pointless and ridiculous action on Jagex' part. None of the reasons given for the removal of Free Trade would be valid, absolutely none of them. And keeping it out while allowing the Wilderness to come back would be insane.

When you pay for something via MMS or SMS, the system takes your number and carrier, and submits a charge through your carrier that shows up on your monthly phone bill. If you are not paying a monthly bill, the carrier is going to deny the charge, and the company is going to deny you the purchase. tl;dr: No it won't work.

Or that your friend was botting and got caught. And they punished him .. 3 years later ? well, if he had 50 mining, and then he had 77 mining, looks like he gained some mining xp besides what he had gotten 3 years previously. Soooo he could have botted 50-77 mining, gotten caught, and then been reset. And you get punished for botting, so he got reset to lvl 10, losing legit xp as well as botted xp. Moral: Don't bot, or if you do, and get caught, it is possible to bot the level back in a day anyway.

I would say solo your dungoneering until level 50. Rush all but the top 6 floors you can do, and do those floors on solo medium. Then, reset and go again. Once you hit around 50, try to find some friends around your level that you can dungeon with. Try duos and trios on mediums, and if you can do some 5:5 larges for the top 5 floors you can do. Rush all the rest. Once you get to like 60 dungeoneering or so, you can try your luck with some random teams form 117, but try to get all the top 5 floors you can do as c6 5:5 larges. at 69+ you should rush 1-29, and then 5:5 large floors 30+.

I always bought unids with a full inv, and only noted stacks of the unid herbs i wanted with me. then, if they tried to sell me ones i didnt want, the trade didnt go thru cause i didnt have any room. Seems more like the correct use of a skill to identify what type of plant you have, rather then just brush the dirt off. But yeah, the potential to scam noobs was there. :P Nearly 1mil votes in the referendum btw.

sorry to burst you bubble but gwd=/=prayer potions. gwd=brews, sup rests and OVLs. Actually with Overloads, I can get away with mostly Super Prayers with only a few Restores. assuming this boss has higher dps then corp, you probably wont be able to. Higher DPS probably. I think a mod said it was going to be like lvl 900 or something. But then, we are getting new armor with lifepoint boosting, higher defense bonuses, potentially higher soak and all that fun stuff. So maybe the gear it drops will make it soloable.

so if we have lifepoint boosting armor, with super awesome defensive stats, does it have offensive bonuses? That would be nice. And how will we get in? 40kc for each god??? or will it need a kc?

Z spear is better then Korasi's and worse then CLS.
