Well yes, humans are inherently selfish, which is why I can partially understand exchanging the items for junk. But dropping it all afterwards? They're just out of touch with reality. Well, if you hacked someones account and it had a lot of nice goodies on it. Then, trading all your junk for all his good stuff would benefit you. Then, you know you are not going to get to keep the account, and you don't really care what happens to it. So your evil side takes over, so you take all the junk you traded to this account and drop it so the original owner has to make it all back if he ever gets his account back. That just seems like the progression of what could have happened to me.

I'm guessing 4ner is a namechange glitch on runetracker? The graph almost looks like it isn't. But his adlog makes me think it is.

What is your TRUE Combat Level
Hmm, to answer who is scarier, a Steel Dragon or a 138 is easy. Steel Dragon, hands down. If I go to where Steel Dragons are, there is a chance I could die. If I go find a 138 in their usual habitat, there is 0 chance I could die to them. Steel Dragons can attack me with dragonfire if I go anywhere close to where they reside. 138s cannot attack me unless I purposefully ignore the multiple warnings and hop over the fence and purposefully go to where they are able to kill me. Basically, you don't get a warning when you are near a steel dragon that can attack you. However, to even venture to a place where a 138 can attack you is 100% impossible to do accidentally. If you are stupid and choose to ignore the multiple warnings screaming at you that this could be a very stupid idea, then you deserve to die. 138s also do not have the ability to constantly breathe dragonfire from a great distance. [hide] The game will never select a pvp or bh server for the random world that you log into. You must hop the wilderness ditch or click to enter the clearly marked unsafe portal in order to enter any unsafe pvp. You must acknowledge that you know it is unsafe. You must affirm your choice to log into a pvp or BH world before logging in. [/hide] Why include slayer as an option to affect combat level? Are you obsessed with changing a system that is not broken? Maybe suggest ways to fix something that actually does not work, like how my Nettle-weave shirt clips through my Untrimmed Hp cape between my avatar's shoulder blades.

Hmm, a thought just struck me. They said they are moving lots of stuff out of the wild. What happens to the beacon network?

Tip.It Times - 16th January 2011
Um, if you are talking about the joindate on the Tip.it Forums, then: http://forum.tip.it/index.php?app=members&module=list Just hit advanced filters, and then at the bottom of the page, select sort by joindate in ascending order. ForsakenMage Was apparently the 3rd TIF account created, and he is still active, having posted just before the post I quoted. And if you are talking about Runescape, I know for a fact that Ashley still plays, and she was the 13th account created on RS I believe. (or 9th account, possibly) @Blyaunte You can't have Wilderness without Free Trade, or vice versa. Bringing only one back removes every reason for the removal of the other, rendering it unnecessary and ineffective.

Wilderness and Free Trade will return - 17 January 2011
With a team of hundreds of content developers? It can be done in 15 days. @ Riemis 1. Over 100 developers working on it. 2. They have lots of the code 3. What are your credentials in saying it can't be? They don't have over 100 developers working on it, I don't even know if they have that many developers at all. I know they have so many employees but a lot won't be content devs. The code is probably going to need to be changed quite a lot, though the basics might be the same the intricacies are what will have bogged down the coding. And the credentials are in common sense. It's utterly ridiculous to suggest that Jagex have got this content ready in the past few weeks when it famously takes them just as long for simply tiny bug fixes. Most of the code is already there. Any decent programmer knows you never throw code away like that. They already have all the coding for the free trade and old style pvp. Yeah, the game coding will change alot, simply because when you select large sections of code, and copypasta different code on top, the code changes :ohnoes:. Takes about ~30secs per copypasta. They are not going to be manually re-writing free trade and the Wilderness back into the game. That would take far far longer, and if they did this, we might ever get the old knife trick back.

Drumgun only needs 29mil range till those paws become absolutely useless for him. Also, anyone try dying with them fully charged? then getting a new pair from diango, and grabbing your old ones from your grave? Similiar to getting golden hammers.

Thought I was alone for a second to be honest. I think it's the fact that his win was so close. He was in danger of losing, therefore, anyone who might beat him should not be playing FoG. This would allow him to get a free 5k charges from level 15's training mage with water strike.

What if they were playing just to have fun? You serious? You made quite a few assumptions with that comment. *conceited rolling of the eyes time* I am level 132. On Saturday, I went and got myself 550 tokens in FoG without losing a single game. You need these tokens to recharge battle robes, which I have been using to burst rock lobsters for charms. I use battle robes cause I didn't feel like shelling out double the cash for the same amount of casts. My cash pile isn't as large as I would like it to be, and paying that much is something I would rather not do. Why would higher levels playing FoG be sad? It is fun to be able to win every game you play, and you just afford those noobs training mage far more casts per game then they would normally get. And you need those tokens for battle robes, which are quite a popular choice for bursting/barraging. Also, you are one of those "sad" 120+ players in FoG, if you did not realize this.

Nex Strategy Discussion
Idk. From my first impression, he is saying that none of the things you can pray, be they curses or regular prayers, should have an effect on the soulsplit stage. Basically Curses are from Zaros. Curses include Soulsplit. Nex is from Zaros. Therefore, Nex has Curses, which include Soulsplit, and there is nothing we players can do about it. Or he could be messing with our minds. :ohnoes: In other news, did anyone that if you use the European way of writing dates (dd/mm/yyyy), the date Nex was released was 10/01/2011. And she is level 1001. 1001 -> 10/01 -> day and month of release. Coincidence?

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
That would be one of the dumbest things they could do. I think if they want to add the old wilderness, they shouldn't mix it with Bounty Hunter rules and guidelines. People voted for "The Old Wilderness" not Bounty Hunter, after all. This is how I feel. Both Turmoil and Chaotic both make a huge difference in combat, and yet for a while prayer did nothing beyond level 70. They didn't ban the new prayers from BH just because they were very good and only a select few would have had them. And dungoneering levels are not reflected in combat level, even though most of the worthwhile items to buy with tokens are for combat. Why should better potions not be allowed? People are making Zerker Turmoil pures easily, and 89-90 herblore costs about the same as 95 prayer. And now with free trade, you will be able to make money on your main account, and just buy all the stuff for your alt Pker account.

"You sign a petition, and vote in a poll... That's the language they have always used..." Who is "they"? I cannot recall Jagex ever running a petition before. As such, they would not have always used this language for petitions. Also, if you would like to argue about word usage, how are you going to "sign" a petition online, if you do not use a pen and paper? Claiming that Jagex intended the petition as the actual vote, and lied about it when they discovered it was being falsified is by extension claiming that Jagex listend to their player base and responded in a timely manner. You may as well make the claim that they ran the petition intentionally like this in order to generate publicity. You obviously feel strongly about this issue, enough to write a whole article about it. Chances are, many other people feel just as strongly. This generates controversy, and controversy always receives more press. More press means more people learn about it, which brings more people who had previously left Runescape back, just to figure out what the heck is going on. Neither of these is likely, and the probability that Jagex came up with a flawed plan, and is now following it is far more in line with Jagex's past track record and thus far more likely. As you also said, you have no 100% proof, and I would even argue that you have not "refuted" the arguments that you think you have. Your "refutation" of the 4th reason for the vote discrepancy makes an absolutely massive assumption of the desires of these anonymous voters. Basing a refutation on such a wild guess about what such a large group of people may be feeling does not provide a very firm foundation for your argument.

Tip.It Times - 16th January 2011
When did we actually find out they were lying? You may perhaps believe that Jagex lied about this Petition and Referendum, but that view is not shared by many other people. No real proof that your beliefs are true has been discovered. It may seem obvious and logical to you, and at the same time seem far fetched and ridiculous to other people. Political parties are a perfect example of this. So while it is not unusual that you yielded to the baser human instincts and degenerated into mocking and name calling, it is rather hypocritical that you seem to take offense when someone does the same to you. In fact, your post not only goes off topic, but rather seems to be entirely focused on bragging about your own intelligence, and attempting to troll bladewing.

I want extreme potions in PVP. I payed a lot of money for them, I want to be able to wear noob gear, lure some helpless pker out to get me, and then laugh over their death pile cause I can boost my stats far past what they can. @ zaaps They fixed overloads in f2p? I haven't checked since someone found that.

Yeah, but the list of prayers is also knows as your prayer book. Kinda like lunar's, Ancient, and regular magic are in 3 different "spell books" (spell book swap from lunars tells us this)

Dungeoneering XP Loss and Lag
Umm... Leave the dungeon and reform the party. Then, set the floors to be made for 2 people. It sounds like your friend left, but you decided to continue on your way without reforming the party which might have something to do with it. If this is the case and you get a mime room, you won't be able to finish the dungeon anyway. And, lag isn't something related to Runescape most of the time. Although I have recently been getting random white screens for no reason that I can tell. As long as she comes back online, she should log back into the dungeon, or at least be able to rejoin it from the exit lobby.

General Aversion to Degradation
I don't have a problem with degrading armors most of the time. I use my chaotic rapier for nearly everything, and I slay in a verac skirt and Fighter torso. The verac skirt degrades sometimes, as does my chaotic rapier, and then I go recharge/fix them. Recently though, I have been bursting rock lobsters for crimson charms. I am using Battle Robes + Sol. The problem is, that even when I recharge them at the same time, they degrade at different times without fail. It is quite annoying to be bursting along, and then your hood degrades fully. Then 2 lobster pulls later, your robe bottoms bite the dust. And lastly, a good 5-6 pulls after that, the robe top goes. This is what annoys me.

Analysis: Ely vs Div in a PvM Setting
I know the thread he was talking about. It was called Shield Analysis. By the poster Warlock. It was posted within the week after the Dungeoneering update. It is not on the RSOF anymore, but the difference between the shields was a bit greater then what you have come up with iirc.

You're noob, didn't you read it? :P Didn't you read it? All Chuck Norris jokes will be replaced with Aasiwat jokes from now on. I must have missed the page that this was on when I clicked this thread. HAHAHA Hilarious post by Kvebalas. Aasiwat = Chuck Norris :ohnoes: So apparently, when you log on each day, and are not standing in lumbridge with nothing, it is only because Aasiwat had mercy on you. :P
