  1. Just a tip, it's probably better to bring bronze/iron hatchets to steels so you can drop it and free up some inventory space. I just buy a bronze from the store owner that's near the entrance. :P. Well... Before I used Kuradel. I pick the bronze axe up thats in the pirate pub.
  2. gratz on the hunter lvl. No minigames?!?!?!? Some of them are just epic though. Barbarian Assault is incredible. Eh, w/e. I guess for a DIYer it kinda makes sense, for at least some of them.
  3. When I lag, I usually say Me: lag (doesnt go through) Me: lagg (still doesnt work) Me: LAGG!!! (fail again) Me: OMFGWTF. I. Hate. Lag!!!!! (fail of epic proportions on restoring connection) Me: I just got Jagex'd #-o So I totally understand the misspellings lol And yes, Bots cause all lag because Al Gore invented the Internetz.
  4. It means instantly. For example, Walk into wild, drop item. Every player in RS can see that item the instant you click drop. Instantly. If you die to an NPC in the wild, the exact same thing happens. Your stuff appears on the ground instantly for everyone to see. No waiting around. Outside of the wild, drop an item and you get ~45 seconds to pick it back up. Die and you get a gravestone that no one will bless in hopes of being able to steal all your stuff. Die to another player while in the wilderness and only that player that killed you can see the drop for ~45 seconds. Then everyone can see it. Dismiss a BOB in the wildnerness and all the items it drops appear to the general public the very second that the familiar disappears. A pker kills your familiar, he gets ~45 seconds to loot before everyone can see it. Dismiss a BOB outside of the wild and you get ~45 seconds to pick it all back up again. Yeah, it really means immediately. lol.
  5. And they are NPCs with good loot. Which means BOTS!!! Free loot for me :)
  6. Why is there a poll on all of these topics? Didn't he make this identical topic last time he was doing this?
  7. 0.0 With your luck at from TDs moving to corp, you're going to crash all the shields...... I am having a blast doing it! Only died once solo so far and he was about dead. I hadn't touched my tort's drop. O_o So now you won't even need to buy your Elysians. :ohnoes:
  8. 0.0 With your luck at from TDs moving to corp, you're going to crash all the shields......
  9. I'm still gonna bless, unless they were actively trying to lure onto me at tds or dag kings. Or they crash and flame me at gwd. Just crashing is ok, add flaming and gf you. TBH tho, if you loot a grave that has not been blessed before, you should be pvp enabled so that other players can attack you but you cannot attack them. @ zamorakninja Godwars and DKs are impossible to get back to in 6 mins.
  10. Remember the Fally Massacre on 6/6/6? How much to do you trust Jagex's programming? I don't. It is Jagex after all.....
  11. I doubt it'll be that bad, hunting revs will be too risky to camp for long periods of time. But if its profitable, then someone will make a bot to do it. Free loot for pkers :)
  12. bit over 100k/h if the people running are very fast traders. Around 90k realistically with random runners.
  13. Dungeon is Pvp enabled  I really hope someone comes out with a Rev bot so I can kill it for free Pvp gear :)
  14. But most of the other buyables run in much shorter spurts. The amount of time you actually spend training herblore or prayer is so much shorter then runecrafting. A decent herblore price is around 25-30 gp/xp. Paying 5mil/hour (5 runners at 1m/hour) puts rc xp at 55gp/xp for rates of 90k/h. That's a 10bil price tag for 200m rc. You get 14 types of runes at ZMI. Astrals are included. Also, you need a slot for noted pure ess, which leaves you with 13 open inv spaces. By keeping all the runes you get, and using your average of 17xp per ess, you would get 221 xp per 13 ess. However, going my way of trading the runes to the runners would result in 408 xp per 24 ess. It remains to be seen if the extra experience would be worth the lengthened trade time. For Thai: Squared: ALT+253 - ² Sigma: ALT+228 - Σ Square root: ALT+251 - √
  15. Why would you say that? I'm going to so long as I have the prayer. Then again, I'm the one who finds half a cannon + 2m worth of armor and runes in barrows, and spends 15 minutes searching for the person who died... I'm not alone though. There are plenty of people who aren't vultures. I think these people are still vastly outnumbered though.
  16. You speak the truth. I actually took the time to come up with a coherent argument for my point of view rather then claiming that opposing views were invalid simply because they were not in agreement with mine. Also, RWT included those people practicing credit card fraud. Both members and nonmembers worlds had bot accounts clogging the yew trees. It is far easier to use stolen credit cards/fake credit cards to pay for these accounts. Even if the account gets banned after a few months of botting yew trees or other moneymakers, you still get enough yew logs out of it to sell to people and then sell your gold to your paying customer. You don't even have to worry about running out of names for these accounts as there are 4.87x10^18 ( ) names possible on Runescape. Even supposing that creating an account took 30 seconds, and you were creating 100million accounts (vastly vastly exaggerated) each time, it would still take 46,363.8 years to use all the names.
  17. [herblore nazi] No extremes for you! QFC: 254,255,55,62204744 [/herblore nazi] read this quite some time ago. Although it doesn't work with commas dividing it up. Says an Extreme boost tho. So maybe I can glitch ovls in for a few weeks. Also, all I need is a Wolper to hit max mage damage boost anyway. Dds is just to make them pray melee, I can hit 600+ with that already.
  18. No kidding. I would quit too if it looked like I would be spending the entire rest of my existence at cave crawlers. Not to mention the money it would cost. Which is a good point. How long would it take to make that cash? Merchanting is going to get royally messed up very soon.
  19. How about a right click "loot" option on gravestones that does this? It would probably be easier to program in the game, and far less glitchy initially (envisioning the first person to step on your gravestone getting ALL your gear). @Grimy lol that would be a pretty good price for a firecape imo. If they were tradable. Knowing jagex, it's probably more like 50k or something. :/ @999134 That is what it sounds like. What level are you without summoning? It sounds very very OP, but you won't get much loot :/
  20. If you got runners bringing you ess, I think it would be around ~80-90k/h. I am not sure about how much it would cost/profit. I would assume that zmi at 99 rc would yield maybe 1.5-2x. I am not too sure about the distribution of runes you get, but say you traded all the runes you kept the death, blood, and soul runes, and you traded the runner 24 noted ess + the rest of the runes. They would get all the chaos, cosmic, nature, astral, and the rest as profit, and break even on the rest as they would need to run 24 ess to you each time. Then, maybe ever few hours, you head to the bank to grab some cash, and pay your runners like ~1mil for 3 hours running or something. That would be about on par with other lower level moneymakers such as cave slime and aviansies. I think it would be come to tedious trading all of the runes. I think if you were to step up a "company" like Larryr did so that runners were waiting in a line to trade you ess, and you only trade 13? ess for the (x)k gp, this would end up being faster because it would save you the effort of trading all of those runes. However, I could see trading each runner the teleport runes to be beneficial because then they wouldn't have to run back to the bank. Maybe even trading them 25? fire runes so they wont have to pay to open their bank. I believe it might be faster to offer all runes because you would have to manually type in the number of fire runes, click twice on your laws and astrals, and then put up the correct amount of cash and pure ess. I do not know if trading has an Offer-X history option similar to banking does. Even if it did, you would still only be able to use it for either the cash or the fire runes. I feel that the time added doing these added actions could take longer then just offering nearly all your runes. You can use mousekeys to offer runes same as you use mousekeys to drop items. Also, after having thought about it, you could prevent banking for much longer by paying your runners in pure ess each trade. Simply give them ~10k body runes to use for banking purposes and each trade put up 34 pure ess with your extra runes. This would prevent having to pay them in cash, and they would profit ~1.3k per run in ess + the additional runes you are giving them. It is my gut instinct that the extra 10 essence this would get you (24 compared to 14, if you pay them with ess and give them tons of banking runes up front) would more then make up for the potentially longer trade time. I don't really feel like crunching the numbers right now, I just got out of my last class for the week (Diff. Eq.) and I am now going to crash on my bed till dinner time. If you are paying them with cash and they can be trusted or know you can be trusted then definitely pay in lump sums of cash. It is far more efficient the putting cash in every trade window, and nets you another inventory slot besides.
  21. There will be a spike of people acting like asses to get others killed when the update comes out, but eventually it will go back to how it was pre-07. Those who want to help will help, and those who want free stuff will wait and see if you don't make it back in time. This system is still more lenient because it offers you the chance of not only getting back in time, but that some stranger might walk by while said player is camping your grave and bless it. Do you think someone who isn't going to bless your chaotic-filled grave now was going to bless your grave before? Unlikely. This isn't going to change behavior from how it was in 2007, Runescape will always have that proportion of players. We're not in Kindergarten anymore, folks, we're going back to the days where death didn't include an immediate expectation that your items would be safe until you returned, and people actually didn't risk what they couldn't afford to lose. The people that would not have blessed your grave before still will not bless, this is true. Unfortunately, now a good portion of the people that would have blessed your grave will no longer be blessing it. Maybe if they doubled the time it takes gravestones to disappear or something. Keep people waiting forever for it to vanish at least.
  22. GF grave blessing. Now nobody will bless graves anymore. :P That is exactly what I thought. Although I could see burstinglobs institute a rule about looting, namely looters get banned from cc and blacklisted for dp's and blesses. Most other places, if you have the max gravestone and sw spawn point, you should be able to make it back to where you were. EDIT: @bedman they said revs would be in a Pvp enabled area. So when someone comes out with a Rev bot, we could always just go kill the bot for pro loot :)
  23. Dang. Lootable gravestones. It is now going to be much much harder to get a bless. Oh well, saves me prayer potions blessing the people who die repeatedly at rock lobs in short time frames. Hopefully they won't go there anymore if they keep dying. That being said, more then 2 deaths in a short time frame, and I'm just going to take their items. (saw a guy die 3 times in 10 minutes, and I blessed him each time. Good thing I'm such a nice person..........)
