He was using it on other players, on a PVP server. Magic and range still work just fine if you are fighting other players in the warriors guild. They just don't work on the NPC monsters.

Yeah, if you ragequit for a week, and then come back, the place will be empty and getting another d defender will be a breeze. Then it will feel like you lost your d defender, and just went right back and got another one.

Didn't get this quoted for some reason. :P But what you say isn't quite true. It's still perfectly possible to get defenders like before. However, if you want a small damage bonus, some drops noted, an increased chance of a defender drop and an increased chance of spawning a cyclossus, you will need tokens from all the guild activities. Though if you mean "respectable timeframe" as "as little time spent in the cyclops area as possible" then what you said is correct. Yes, I have absolutely terrible luck with defenders. My longest drystreak is roughly 6k tokens in between rune defenders. And I have gotten 32 rune defenders total on this account. I used to pvp back around lvl 100-110 and I lost lots of defenders. I used to average 1 rune defender every 1 to 1.5k tokens spent. Luckily Jagex changed the tokens over and credited you for every different minigame in there, so I have 3.7k in each. Should last long enough once it calms down. But yes, my luck for the last 16 or so rune defenders has been absolutely terrible. So yes, that is exactly what I meant by "respectable time frame".

Well Jagex failed. Now, to actually get defenders in a respectable time frame, you need to do every one of those godforsaken minigames. Gl getting more then about 200 tokens per hour in them. Finally got my defender though. Stole a cyclossus to get it. Good thing people don't know how to hold on to their cyclossi. Now I am out of that disgustingly crowded place.

The xp rates are much higher, and the people with 200m atm did a huge chunck of their xp without warped floors. I would say that a month or so would be an accurate guess. At max prestige, you can now get like 300k+ an hour xp rates. Dungeoneering is a fast skill once you get 119+ So I was about 12 days shy of being correct. Geez. DG really is pretty fast. Yeah, looks like you need to reinstall it. It only takes like 45 seconds to uninstall though, and maybe 5-10 mins to reinstall, so it really isnt that bad.

Leeches to 61, Smoke Devils to 64, and Stranger Plants after that. Use golds for Barker Toads at 66. Don't use blues if you can help it, and make greens into fruit bats at 69. I think I used about 10mil or so getting 52-70. I will edit with the actual price for you in a moment. EDIT: You need: 460 Leeches 400 Smoke Devils 700 Stranger Plants You will need 200k Shards to do all that, and you will get 140k back from the Ogre guy when you swap all the pouches back in. You will also need to spend 700k on bagged plants. And about 260k on goathorns. So, about 6mil cash all told, for secondaries and shards, and then you will get roughly 3.5mil back when you swap pouches in for shards at Bogrog the Ogre, and sell the shards back to the Pet shop in Taverly. For bagged plants, buy "Bagged Plant 1" from the chick in fally garden near the tree patch. She stocks 1k of them, and if you use a terrorbird and run from fally east bank, you can buy what you need in like 20 mins. You will save 200gp each buying them from her instead of the GE.

Yeah, if I trained slayer on crawling hands and cave slime and wolves and whatnot, I would hate it as well. Why not just take the damage boost from a black mask that Vannaka gives you against green dragons and lesser demons and stuff. That is where your level range of character trains normally right? At the very least, you get to see yourself hit bigger numbers against lesser demons simply because you can't 1-hit them like you do cave slime. I mean, when I do greater demon tasks, I take a bunyip to do the task, and I can finish a task in 1 bunyip simply because I can kill like 80 of them before I even need to summon the bunyip. And they are about as boring as cave slime. So it's not like you are risking anything by fighting junk Vannaka gives you. Maybe a few of Chaeldar's tasks might do that, but honestly, you get like harpy bugs every other task from her, and thats about the same thing as cave slime.

Prom 2h is a good weapon to swap for the maul. It has both slash and crush settings that work with the berserker class ring, and it is faster, with about the same strength bonus. Requires 90 attack though.

Turn in all those long/curved bones during next xp weekend and you'll have a nice ammount of construction xp. I'm hoarding my fair share and hadn't thought of that! Are you sure they aren't classified under "bonus XP"? I remember some guy on here getting like 4mil construction xp from the bones or something in like 2 hours. I will try to find the post. Then I decided to try out slayer for a while, and from about 80 melees, all the way to where I am now, all I have done was slayer. I found a way to train that I liked, so I would advise you to go try out different types of training methods. You don't have to camp AZ's or anything to train melee stats.

You can only play so many games of sw an hour, whether legit or not. And in many cases mining and superheating are faster botting then doing it legit, re the account's other non combat stats. While considering efficiency, can you maintain it consistently at the same level over long periods of time? No need to eat, don't get tired, no need for washroom, etc? Hence your assumption was invalid and I'm unsure why you're still pushing it forward. If his assumption was invalid, why the hell did you say otherwise?
