  2. You are very welcome :D It is by far my favorite minigame
  3. World 6 is ok for teams. Try to join one and be the collector. It is the easiest role, and you get a basic understanding of what the game is like. You might find that you enjoy Barbarian assualt. I think it is very fun. Remember, calling is the most important part of the game. Always use the horn to call the correct command out, as soon as it changes. The command you should call appears in white letters, next to the mouth icon in the top right of the screen. The commands change after 30 seconds, so if you are attacking, then it would be a good idea to stop attacking after 20-25 seconds, so you don't accrue failed attacks, which subtract from your score. The collector role is easiest because you cannot get negative points, so you always get a few. Points really are not that hard to get if you play with a team that knows what they are doing. My friends and I normally get like 25-30 points for wave 1, and it just goes up from there. I love Barbarian assualt, so if you feel like waiting, I will be on tonight, and I can show you how the game works. If you like Fast SC because it is easy to get points to buy Tools and stuff, then Barbarian assualt is another game that anyone interested in gaining bonus xp should play. Speaking from experience, the Full Master Pennance Horn is absolutely amazing for training Agility or Firemaking. I dislike both skils, but with that horn, and on the wilderness course so I can kill revs, agility isn't so bad. Fming is just boring, so any way to speed it up is fine by me :D And in response to getting 50 points on wave 4-9, if you have a decent team, you can easily get like 400+ points doing one game of 10 waves. So yeah, you should be fine. After wave 5, the rest of the team starts getting enough points just for finishing to cancel out the mistakes they make, even if they make the maximum number. You can only get -10 points for making mistakes, so the team as a whole can only end up with -40 points. And after wave 5, completing the wave itself gives more then 40 points.
  4. hey look at that, addy boots doubled in price since the climbing update. And yes, same difference, but doesnt change that rune boots are 40k more expensive then they were.
  5. Longer answer is that a week or so ago, jagex changed climbing boots. They introduced a new pair of boots into the game called rock climbing boots, and converted all existing pairs of climbing boots into this new pair. These new boots have the stats that climbing boots used to have, but they started out costing 75k gp. With a 45k gp alch value. They did this because they did not like pkers using the 200gp boots all the time, to get good strength bonuses and whatnot, and apparently one person had at one time payed 75k for a pair or something like that. The boots you get for the death plateau quest no longer have combat stats. So, basically, if you had like 100 or more boots in the bank, which alot of pkers had because you get them from kills and you lose them alot, then you got a ton of free cash. 100 pairs of boots alched for 4.5m. And there were accounts with more then 4k pairs of boots. So it basically added a bunch of new money to the game all in one shot. It also makes no sense, because climbing boots suck compared to d boots, but climbing boots now alch for 45k, and d boots alch for 12k. Apparently the person that did the math behind the dungeoneering rewards and the multiplier for the bonus xp weekend also did the math for the alch value of rock climbing boots. Kind of makes we want to join JAGEX MERCH, you get 6200% price raises in one day :D
  6. if you die with it, then yeah. You get death potential, which is kind of like hidden ep. It increases the value of your loot if you die a bit. I think that death potential averages at like 2/3 of what you lost, if you start with 0% ep. So losing 5mil, you would make like 3.8m back off death potential on average. I am not sure about this, it is just from my experience before they changed 76king. When I died i would get a friend to give me a few 76ks and i would get about 2/3 of the value i lost back, if i had low ep to start. I also think that the more you are risking, the higher your chances are of getting good loot. I once saw 2 friends eping back when it was 26k. They would both get 100% ep, then one would hold 26001 gp and the other would wear like 3rd age, red phat, and claws, and kill him. They were getting like statius and vesta stuff, with like 600m risk.
  7. If you have a 2m bank after buying a blue phat and a ely, that is kind of sad..... What I mostly didn't understand was the rune full helm, power ammy, and climbing boots. The rest kind of makes sense if you were bored enough.
  8. Because full rune, power ammy, climbing boots, and elysian with d scim is just ftw.......
  9. If you are under 80 melee, then kill black armor. Over 80 melee, kill mithril armor. Takes maybe an hour to get 1k tokens. I'm not sure. Its pretty fast. You get 15 per black armor kill, and 20 per mith armor kill. Addy and rune are too high level to kill, they actually do damage to you. With mith or black, you barely need food. Just keep mindlessly putting the armor back in the animator and you will have plenty of tokens in no time :D Oh, and you get full xp for killing them, so it is actually half decent to do. Dont afk tho, or your tokens or armor might disappear. And if you die to your armor, you lose the full set of it.
  10. Just before you get to the place where the guard denys you acess, there is a path that runs north. You follow that up and over and there is a boulder. Just use a rope on it and it lets you down behind guard.
  11. Well, if you are selling them for ge price, i will buy one. I think a friend might want one also........
  12. yeah, boots are up cause climbers are way overpriced now.
  13. I read the treasure trail update, and I thought it was cool. But then I thought oh wait......it's jagex.......so it is a possiblility that they will nerf the loot rate of all the current gear also. TT item crash anyone? At least zammy book will only be like 80k to fill like the other two. After climbing boots, I just can't see them getting this right the first try.
  14. I've run into Guy Fawkes a few times. I thought that was pretty cool.
  15. Hey, not sure if you still have task, but if so, i would not mind helping u out. I would kill first form with you, then you solo 2nd form. Sound good?
  16. i do, it takes me like 3 mins to get them. I go with a friend every week. and every 3 weeks i collect my free 85k herblore xp. Hunt them on world 60 Use cc "world60pengs" go to RSOF and search for penguin locations. It is the latest thread. I think they are on like v95 now. So read the thread, join the cc, and hunting them is pretty easy and great free xp. The Person who posts all the threads is named "Canada Grrl"
  17. Possibly the macro detection goes into overdrive if you get a lot of xp in a short period of time? Yes. In the first hour of bonus xp weekend, when training summoning I received a random about every 5-7 runs to the obelisk. Yup, I think i ended up with 17 randoms by the end of the 2nd hour when I finished all my charms.
  18. This And very nice username btw, both here an on runescape. So lucky to get that..................
  19. lol, someone replied to the Original post without reading the disclaimer :P oh, and welcome to tip.it
  20. Yeah, a mage can. Drink an antifire, leech their special attack, use Miasmic and farcast their crossbow. And if you can avoid the constant splashing, in addition sucessfully doing everything you just said, then maybe. But we are talking about maxed combat here, not some 99 ranger with magec level 1. Also, if you walk one square too far, they are unfrozen, and one square too close and they can still hit you. Unlike the rangers armor, the mage has next to nothing in the range def bonuses. Even with antifire pot, the d bolts are still gonna hit 30+ regularly, without the special. Good luck leeching special enough to actually get it below the d bow spec usage, since it doesn't even use close to the full bar. You're underestimating Magic's accuracy. It won't take any more than 4-5 casts to freeze the ranger. It's not very hard to farcast a crossbow. There are techniques for it. Dark bows are slow. You have a few seconds to brew up if they're going to use their special attack. And then there's Miasmic, which cuts the ranger's DPH in half. That is a lot. The ranger is pretty much guaranteed to lose if the mage uses Miasmic. Don't get me wrong though. A ranger that is properly made for killing a farcasting mage can make things difficult for the mage. But it most definitely won't be 'oh, lulz d bolts and dark bow spec and mage iz dead". Not against a mage that knows what he or she is doing. Farcasting a crossbow on rapid yes, but farcasting someone who knows to switch to longrange, or just switch to dbow to drastically increase the distance they can shoot is much harder. And still a mager will have next to no range defense. This makes the ranger just as accurate as mage. And if we are adding in pvp weapons, then don't forget that the ranger can also use Morrigan's Javs or Axes for huge damage. Adding miasmic, and the mage is starting to run out of inventory space for food. Also, you seem to be assuming that the ranger has absolutely no skill, and the mage is an absolute god at farcasting. What I said was a proficient ranger with max range gear will be able to reliably beat a mage with max mage gear. I am not saying that d bolts and a dark bow are the end all range weapon, but they are powerful tools that a ranger has, and they have the same k0 potential as hitting 50+ with barrages. And the ranger is far more accurate then the mage is.
  21. Same, in a few thousand seeds. Same, about 1k seeds. Best run is 48 avantoe in 5 patches. Best single patch is 14.
  22. Well, as long as we are putting the dragon defender in as a dungeoneering reward, why not add a zaros godsword hilt for 600k tokens. And lets make the defenders and chaotic weapons tradable while we are at it!

  24. A guy with armadyl, d bolts, dbow for spec, and spectral or dfs will rip apart a mager with sol, arcane stream, arcane ss, and ahrims. Its not even a contest. The person with mage must have a melee weapon to hybrid with to have a chance. He cannot do it with just spells.
  25. EDIT: Checked casting rates again, and yeah, summer pies are very fast cooking xp
