special skill for lvl 99's
Off topic: Wannabe mods spamming the forum are a pain in the hinder parts. On topic: It seems to me that there is sufficient incentive to train to 99 (at least for most skills). 99 hunting is a huge part of the game already. So someone can't remind some other people to follow the rules without being flamed by "anti-wannabe mods"? Go back to your beloved RSOF and troll there then. The idea itself isn't too bad, but I think there was a thread on the first/second page of the suggestions forum about this, so you should go there and post your ideas instead of making a new thread.

Should F2P get skill capes?
Some people aren't as rich as you. -.-

Price manipulation: right or wrong?
Heard of computer experts? They could enforce it if they want to, it's a matter of time/cost vs results. So apparently the title can't be wrong? Honestly, something being WRONG doesn't mean it needs to be banned. Lying is an obvious example. It is clearly wrong, but it is impossible for Jagex to create a system to identify liars or waste a lot of manpower doing it themselves. Junk trading also forces people to pay over the odds for some items too. Is this not the same type of thing to make you pay an over-the-top price? Mod MMG actually condones junk trading as per his statements a while back stating it actually provides a use for those items. You're telling me you'd never take advantage of such a thing if you just happened to have an item that went to a fairly high price? Leaving out capping, lets say item X is normally worth 5m and you had one. It surges to 8m and you know that's way above the normal price. You wouldn't try to sell it, knowing its price will drop again? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. We're all guilty of some form of price manipulation at some time. You've never sold something in the g.e. at the highest price? This affects it. If Jagex hit people with price manipulation bans there would be very few of us left. In the end we all want to pay the lowest prices and recieve the highest prices for our stuff. If players weren't so daft as to pay over the odds for things in the first place and had a bit of patience this wouldn't happen. One person selling one item because he was following the graph is not price manipulation. It's more like merchanting, knowing when to buy and when to sell. Price manipulation is when an ORGANIZED group buys out the entire stock of an item and doesn't sell it. This will cause people to pay max to buy the item but they still won't be able to buy it, this keeps going in a circle until the group decides to dump the item and make millions of profit, while the people who bought the items lose millions. ^That is like organised crime. Irl, lately, I saw this program on chinese television (im visiting atm), about the prices of steel going up buy $700/ton, then dropping buy $600/ton the next couple of days. The government has already ARRESTED people to do with it, I heard it was a group of four australians. Exactly. Jrhairychest apparently mixed up merchanting and price manipulation. Merchanting is COMPLETELY legal, it's just buy low sell high. Merchants DO NOT influence the market in any way, they just watch out and try to predict the market so they can buy low and sell high for a profit. Price Manipulation is using sheer force of money buying a product to lower its price. This is illegal, and as allisgreat said, people HAVE BEEN ARRESTED for this kind of stuff. This is unfair for the normal merchants and investors.

Mining Sucks (round 2)
True. But the true problem of mining as a whole, is that Smithing sucks. As long as smithing sucks, mining sucks too. Ha ha. Firemaking sucks, doesn't it? It isn't easy to get level 99 firemaking compared to some others, because there's no burn-x. So explain to me why woodcutting doesn't "suck".

Price manipulation: right or wrong?
You better check with Jagex before you say such things... The GE is not meant to be manipulated by an organised syndicate. It's supposed to be manipulated by SUPPLY AND DEMAND.

Should F2P get skill capes?
They paid $5 for their membership, not special privileges AFTER their membership ends.

Mining Sucks (round 2)
Yeah, true, but back to the matter here, the problem is there are a lot of rocks for near-useless ores like tin, copper and clay, but there are near zero rocks for more useful and valuable ores like mithril and adamantite.

If there a limit i can't think of a way you could really abuse it. Cheaters are VERY creative and ingenious people FYI.

new suggestions on new armour or new weapons
First, learn how to spell...no one likes to spend half an hour trying to decipher a few paragraphs. Second, stop being a troll and flaming anyone who disagrees with you. Instead, post reasons why you disagree. Third, how much time did you take to come up with this rubbish? At least think through your suggestion and use a spellcheck if you can't spell. This has already been suggested thousands of times. Come up with something creative or unique instead of just copying the whole thing from other threads.

Mining Sucks (round 2)
Ha ha. Let's look at the time taken to get to 85 mining before we start talking about it being "easy". Its not a crap skill, its a hard and inefficient skill, but hardly crap. Better profit at 30 mining than at high 80 wcing and fishing has got to mean something. From an individual players perspective it is BETTER than woodcutting and fishing. The individual player could not care less if mining dose not "serve its purpose" they only care about profit, and ease, P ess is easy, AND gives good profit. While at the same time getting 85 mining and mining rune is hard as hell, but GREAT profit. I think mining has a little from every end of the spectrum. Just because its "not the scope of the rant" hardly means it dosent apply, it is a good skill in general. All your points are true, but once again, you're comparing P2P to F2P if I'm not wrong. Ignore this if you're not referring to P2P vs F2P. Mining is a good money maker for the individual player, but it's still not a very good skill BECAUSE it takes an incredibly large amount of effort to get to a reasonable mining level. Even level 60 mining is irritatingly hard for F2P.

That wouldn't be good for business. I'd say you can lock for up to a month or something by using $0.50 or $1 of your membership credit. This is to prevent "over-locking" by locking about every few days or so that you are not playing.

Mining Sucks (round 2)
Yeah, mining IS a crap skill. Profit is important, but as makoto already said, it isn't the scope of the rant. Define "better". What? Profit again. That's what I mean. Mining can earn more $$$, but who cares if it doesn't even serve its purpose of supplying ores for smiths? Who cares a [bleep] about high level players? A skillcape is to show your level 99 in a skill, not how you got it. If I got to level 99 mining with a bronze pickaxe and tin ore, do I deserve more respect than someone who did it with a rune pickaxe and iron/coal ore? No. You can boast, sure, but who'd listen? Once again, great thread. Right, I haven't checked out this thread in a while after I first posted, but I was just saying that we'd get a lot of whining, you know? On the topic of respect for picaxes, I'm agreeing with you. I know. Whining is pointless. It'll blow over after a while. Let them whine, no one will care.

Diminshing Returns
The most important question: WHY? You have to explain your motive. You can't just think of anything and say: "Hmm, I think this is not bad IMO, so I'll make a thread on it." You have to mention WHY it would help RuneScape, and why you decided to create it, etc.

I support, though I'll probably never be a member. Transaction prices could be a problem though, as the poster above me mentioned.

Should F2P get skill capes?
Do they deserve to get an advantage? Yes, they were once customers, but so what? Does that give them a special advantage because they ONCE paid? No. They are just F2P players too, if they don't pay. If you switched from a bank to another, than back to the first bank, do you get a special privilege? No.

Mining Sucks (round 2)
But the point here is NOT, I repeat NOT about profit. It's that mining sucks and it doesn't serve its purpose. Many people have misinterpreted this. Mining DOES NOT serve its purpose as a skill to supply raw materials for smiths, whereas woodcutting does. Logs might sell out slowly, but that problem is because there's not as much demand on the firemaking side, not because woodcutting doesn't serve its purpose. Mining, on the other hand, can earn a lot of money, but the demand is more than the supply, except for some ores like coal, ESPECIALLY for ores like mithril, adamantite and rune.

Fist of Guthix - Multiplayer
Honestly...I never said you will not get FREE bandages and stuff, I just said you COULD buy better/more things if you're willing to sacrifice some charges/points. May I ask how the system is [developmentally delayed]ed? Or let's just revert back to the old system. And honestly, I don't know why you say the 4 people split 2 and 2 and whatever was idiotic. I couldn't get what you were saying. Look: 8 people 2 teams of 4. Each team, 2 hunters, 2 hunted or you may distribute the players' roles as you wish. How is this idiotic? Explain. Think it through? I already did. Stop trolling and actually offer some constructive criticism instead of just asking people to think it through. I fail to see how it would be a "bad" idea. It's your opinion, and you have to defend it. So defend it, or I'll just ignore it. Honestly, stop being a troll. Go and create your own suggestion if you think you're so superior then. How will it cause more confusion? I don't see how. It's just another cave entrance, another tutorial, some new rules. That's all. How is it confusing? But anyway, I'll add you to the non-supporters list, since you have a barely valid reason.

101 Suggestions, #19 (again), #20, and #21.
 +1 I'm not a member, so I can't comment on #19, but #20 really did not require any creativity to be honest. There are already numerous suggestions on weapon rooms, helm rooms, etc. You even admitted it yourself in the post. All you had to do was to take their idea, think about it for a while, spin it a bit, and ta-da! A "new" suggestion. #21 was honestly the worst. No creativity at all. Sorry to be so critical, but honestly, I don't think this thread is a very good idea. It's better to focus on quality instead of quantity. You should take some ideas you like very much and develop them, instead of trying to force yourself to think of some ideas every week. This causes the ideas to be not very creative and not well-thought out.

How many Christmas Crackers and Phats are left?
No one working at Jagex could have the exact numbers, and I don't see what's so "interesting" to discuss about guesses which are probably WAY off.

Price manipulation: right or wrong?
There are many things that aren't right that the rules don't cover. Lying, kill stealing, etc. It's impossible to say everything is either right or wrong in the rules.

Mining Sucks (round 2)
This is true. But does that make the skill as a whole profitable? And, furthermore, doesn't the expense of pure essence also cut deeply into RCs profitability? Calling "mining" pure essence a form of mining is absurd. It's more like woodcutting on a tree with unlimited logs, just that the "skill level" required is 30 mining. You could get there by spending a few hours powermining tin and copper, then powermining iron. Face it, mining sucks. And honestly, why are you comparing a P2P way of earning money to a way of earning money that is mainly used by f2p? Isn't it obvious that the P2P way will be faster and more profitable, because p2pers pay?

Why can't F2P have...?
where was this written    its jst too good to be true haha I think this is still at the rumor stage. I think that too. Almost everyone in F2P will work too hard to get an F2P cape, and not care about the rest of the stuff that Runescape has. Yeah. This is one of the worst disadvantages of skillcapes. They cause people to become addicted to grinding skills to try and get the ultimate sign of accomplishment - skillcapes.
