Looking back over 7 years of usage, it's hard to ever think of an off topic nirvana that has been complaint free. I do agree that the quality has slipped here recently, while regrettable, I find topics here to keep me entertained. I personally never unstand the need for "shock news" topics with violence etc..no real discussion value I'd like to see this stay open, granted i'm on reply 1 of 4 pages as i start replying, it's a very valid topic and it's staying open. I won't say it's because of an influx , but mostly because the non /B/Tards give the actual /B/Tards way too much attention and probably cause the idiocy to linger longer. Basically because Goddess hit what I was going to say Although her into to mentioning me - made me LOL . Off topic -or the majority of users couldnt really handle it sadly. I have no issues with the thread concepts. However they were always the #1 and #2 reported threads, and 12-14 year olds posting about sex and stuff isn't exactly stuff that can be posted in public, not just for PG - But for legal stuff as well. Also people had to into way too much detail, like they are writing a bloody erotica. Personally I would like to see less "OT Sheriffs " Too many people try to sheriff OT. Pointing out how threads suck, or how this was discussed 2-5 years ago with an entirely different subset of users so no point in replying or how this idea blows. Because, if I was looking for mods, I'm not going to look for people who make those posts but people who try to contribute and do so at a reasonable level. If no one is interested and it does suck, it will fall quicker than the otherside of your pillow loses that cool feeling. Personally, I think humor and seriousness need to be balanced - they are not and I dont think most people think they can co-exist. Ideally the second problem I have with OT is cliques, always has happened, always will i fear, but too many people have little circles and it puts off the users. The future of OT largely lies in OT's hands. The users have the true power in deciding what threads are "win" and worth posting on and what should be "Fail" and not posting on those. As far as rules, I think they are fair. If you think those suck, Voice your views, and i'll certainly consider reviewing removing/adding rules with the admin team.

avatars typically are a reference to your character in mmo's. As for the ramblings, It's looking like something lucien/majarat related. Postbag 36. Guthix Has mentioned an underwater city, I dont think he would refer to himself in third person. As far as delvers. Runewiki gave me this interesting summary. So Sliske, a majarahtt, is scared of this place - why would he fear another god, and not his own - whom he ran away from Going forward Seems logical that he is a famous guy, who is not among the active living currently. Zaros fits the bill. I'd certainly like to see it.

Me too Lol. Lots of stuff I would love. I'm running out of space, so picking and choosing is getting easier. Tv shows I am a nut over. Saw dead zone season 2 and 4 for 10 each at fye, but no season 1 or 3 = no sale for me.

For starters, a thread exists called "Today..." . It's located here. While I dont mind you sharing your story, it's honestly no different discussion wise than most of the posts in that thread. That being said, I could of let it slide, but the hypocrisy in this topic kills me. You Start off with ... Then Reply with.. While it's one thing to come to a message board and talk about how bad life is, it's a complete and total other thing to make a rant post - and then display a rude and crude attitude back. For future rants you may post, some advice is doing this alienates any sort of sympathy you may gather. If you feel this lock war Unfair, or in poor taste or feel for any reason that it should NOT be locked, please message me to discuss it. ~Das1330 Tip.it User 2001-2009 Tip.it Adminstrator.

Not really. I've never placed an order with them until I saw king of the hill for 12ish per, with the free shipping, great deal. But those sets do hit 10-15 every 6 months ago, Infact I had 60 set aside for a set to order when they hit a low price. I've never seen them have a sale I cant live without.

Runescape the collectible Card game, following in the footsteps of magic or something. Purely epic. They should get a printer and release a set. -

Ye, if that's not enough, they'll hold your loans. But, hell; now that I think about it, this will in all likely cases be shot down in Court. But if it isn't... What if people don't want a loan? I mean, I know kids that worked their [wagon] off at 2-3+ jobs so they didn't have to take loans to pay for college. I work, no loans for me.

As an Eagle Scout I have done lots of community service already. 100 Hours for a college student? I work 25+ hours a week with a 15 hour course load, I barely have time to breathe. Not happy with this even hitting the news.

While I understand the need for a sidebar, that has to be the most annoying way to chop up articles I have ever seen. -
not exactly what i meant i meant you could have more resource at your disposal to increase content. not to get pay day... Unless this medicine has me high to the point I have lost my abilty to think logically - I was under the impression you were suggesting we were making money / getting paid for this partnership - and we are not. This cold does have me grumpy. So i'll go hit the logout button. :P

we are not "Earning" anything for this Our moderator/Crew/tet/irc teams are volunteer based, as are our admin team. We are here for a love of runescape and tip.it, not to get a pay day

I was a straight A student until my Sophmore year of highschool, then to be blunt, I just didn't give a [bleep]. My school had lots of people no lifing for the top ten. I had a social life and still graduated in the top 50 with minimal effort. Did it impact my college choice? Not really, did it set me back for life? Nah. The top kid in my class? he tried to kill himself after being accepted to top flight school after being socially inept. #2 - She quit school and is in the peacecore - #3 - drinks more beer than anyone I know. Long story short, of my top 10 vs my top 100, the lower part of the top 100 is doing FAR better than the top 10, almost 5 years after highschool. As a freshman in highschoo, My bedtime was 11 or 12, I honestly don't remember having one since middleschool and that was after WWE went off of the air whatever time that was 11:30 maybe? I never complained My parents were originally annoyed when my grades dropped, but i told them I needed space and they gave it to me. n ow i have a nice part time job running an isp support center at night, I am going to graduate with a BSBA in computer information systems in a year and am working on my MSCA. I also had a social life - or freedom in highschool. I think it's a bit jacked that your parents say you have nothing to be proud of. I have an IQ of 142, academically gifted and labeled as such. My college average is a B - C in Maths, but my parents are proud of my work ethic (work a part time job with 15 course hours) and they are proud of my accomplishments. They are proud of me - being me. Negotiation worked well for me on things like hanging out with friends in seedy pool halls, and the "Do this problem" worked well on my parents, they used to insist on checking my work, but my mother - who has done banking on a high level for over 20 years, says "We never use this [cabbage]" LOL. As for video games? In all, I can tell you I sleep/skip my macro/micro economics class and apply what I've learned from rs and pulled a B in macro, A in micro, so in some ways games can be educational. Runescape has helped my own the fly maths quite a bit. it keeps me sharp. I cannot stress what message boards have done for my sorry [wagon] writing skills, and I cannot stress how the online social interaction has helped me become less socially inept over time. As for advice - I don't have much sadly. But I will tell you right now - i took no honors courses, no regrets. You could tell your parents my story, doubt they will care, or the story of my ex-coworker matt, a college degree with honors in engineering and had a hard time getting a real job because he had no work experience. The harsh reality is - your going to need to escape via college and keep working on those grades to get a "Full ride" with dorming and the works, working to pay rent is hard and if you get a scholarship based on grades it's going to be hard to escape and keep your funding. You can get my msn from the editoral board if you ever want to talk. I wish you the best.

Jagex will not demand us or require us to change anything we do here, this includes our articles. They want us to maintain our identity. I want us to maintain our identity. I wouldn't compromise our rules we have now easily. ;) As a result we will maintain our identity. I think they are doing something like sunli mentioned. Highlighting preferred fansites to get people away from bad ones. We have lots of mods, if we get more users, we will handle it, if the userbase outgrows our moderator team, we can easily take more moderators in to help, after all we have a very deep pool of users where moderators etc could be drawn from if need be.
