it's been a longstanding misconception that the only way to admin is by being a mod beforehand. Hard work pays off and is always noticed.

We agree on something for once mate, end of the world and all that jazz then ;)

I've never had a telemarketer actually answer me when I ask what they are wearing

Leaders come across times to where they must make questionable calls. I remember fondly saying once in a clan I ran "This is my House, my rules, if you don't like my rules, get the f*** out of my house". I do believe anticrash said it in MK too. The kids who were upset about our new rules quickly left and formed a new clan - that died two months later.

This topic is for sincere congratulatory posts, not negative replies. Bleh. Errr, use that banhammer wisely! He has used it wisely at the supermod level for a long period of time  -

Personally I don't see double posting as the end of the world thing people make it out to be. It' s a double reply, message boards do odd things, it doesnt *need* to be removed and it probably wont hurt anything if it isn't removed. I do agree with rainy that people should type in the other. They often don't - they report a post, it gets closed after being reviewed and then they pm someone because they are amazed something say in OT is left because to them it is offensive (Especially in OT, religion and lactation threads come to mind) - Offensiveness varies by person, and if people would take a minute to write why it was offensive to them, we may be able to work with them better instead of not actioning a report. Infact I just went through 20+ closed reports, over half used the advertising category and nearly ALL didn't write anything, which is annoying. Perhaps checkboxes over drop downs could be an option, but I can tell you looking at mod logs, that reports are actioned by moderators enough to know that they do research the topic even though the person who filled it out, spent 0 time on it doing so. The reporting system is very complicated to some individuals, Believe it or not i've seen half of a forum threads game get reported for advertising .... When everything is perfectly fine. Report seems to work fine as is though, Asides from users filling it out correctly, I can't name many flaws with it As for reports, i'd guess 70 percent of reports are reported under the wrong category with 0 description, so we look at the posts and judge it from their. We have adapted to little information from users

Our assumption would be that most members would have the common sense to realise whether they are too new to the forum or haven't received enough posts yet though. We're never going to accept someone who has applied after being a member for a month as we simply have little to nothing to go on. Yep. Common sense goes a long ways in these things

I cant even begin to describe how many people report everything as "The reported post only has the purpose to only advertise another website or product" Because thats the first dropdown option  very rarely do people take the time to type anything at all - if something is borerline flame wise, i'll consider the drop down menu item selected and what they typed when I action it, If it's borderline and wrong report catergory and they didnt type anything, I'll probably leave it.

They're not against it. Unless they changed their standpoint from one or so month ago. Jagex has told us that they will not ban or punish people for doing it, thus people can post about it

"You cannot make a post so soon after your last."

It's not disabled for staff as a whole, just disabled if you mod the forum. While the feature can be annoying - It's in place to prevent serious abuse and I doubt it will ever be lifted. -
To my knowledge, the jagex skill emotes may run into some copyright issues. :twss: is my own personal emote.

I was at a card show once and a dealer had a nice box of stuff he was selling. I ran out of my $100, and me and 3 guys cleaned him out, He then put out 9 more boxes. Thank god for ATMS

As someone who thinks bunnys are cute, if someone maliciously hurt one in front of me I'd probably beat the [cabbage] out of them, And you know what, I'd beat them so hard, the censor would be true, they would get cabbage beat out of them - if they eat it or not. That hard of a beatdown. If someone came on my land and hurt the wild bunnies that seem to populate our area for "Fun" - animal or person, they will get shot for trespassing. This is the sickest and most vile topic i've ever read.

Down pillows seem to lose the fluff fast for my big head :(

So what kind of pillow do you sleep on? I prefer feathered pillows myself, Not big on the brands, but I like fluffy pillows. How do you like to lay your head down
