You have probably seen the clan leaders out there who talk like dis all da time and itz cuz they think itz sooo kewl. Who would respect that? I work in a field where I do both phone and email support for an ISP, I am required by my job to have fairly strong writing skills, and I have problems reading "l33t speak" and generally if I have to read the post more than once to understand the intent of the post, I get annoyed. I would like to think in a written world of forums and chat rooms, your words are a vast majority of your self reflection, someone who uses txt speak (cell phone speak drives me nuts) or l33t speak, is automatically a leader I have no desire to follow. Spelling used to be a weakness of mine, but research papers, and from comments from clan members and my job forced me to acquire those skills. I feel if I am to follow you in a clan, you must be able to present your ideas in a clear and logical manner. MY boss says an email with typos is sloppy and generally makes you look to be perceived unintelligent. so I carry the same beliefs. If you emailed your isp and got a mistyped response back, what would you think? If a clan leader is going to make a serious announcement, recruitment post or anything officious, it best damned be spell checked and sound logical (Unless English is not the native language and then thats a new story) or else it feels like the leader does not care enough to bother writing up a professional post and thus does not care about his/her clan. I did the same practice during my 3 years of leadership of clans, So I expect the same, professional and lots of effort into running a very nice top notch clan.

Honor, Honesty, Intregity, intelligence and a clear purpose of what they are leading me towards. I also cannot follow someone who has poor spelling, bad manners or an inflated ego.

Not hard at all, rather sad infact The only way you can defend this update is if your stats are so low, you cant do much else.

On a personal level as someone who once considered you a friend and a clan leader, Perhaps I can say I never knew you too well, and what I did know of you and thought of you... was replaced by bad dealings through the wanderers and some dealings you had with very close friends who I consider very dear to me.. If this is my final farewell, Let me drop any resentment I may have to say best wishes in life instead of nothing at all.

I read the whole thread and noticed how quick and harsh you were to defend yourself with names like idiot and other insults almost every time someone said you posting here was "cheating" or that the trades were very unbalanced etc .. Never once did I call you an idiot and I only agreed with a very large community voice that you seem to be fishing for publicity Judging from the replies i read. you started on this thread with a wooden shield and due to generous donations and no real trading or merchanting involved you got to where you are now, had you of not posted, would you of even hit the 30k mark? let alone the 300k mark? In fact if you paid attention I gave you a link which shows "trading up" except it was done in the real world and those people got deals often because "Collectors needed cash". Thus the only way for you get a santa to my understanding is three ways 1) you're going to use this post hoping for very kind and unbalanced "Trades" so you can brag in the future "oh but I traded a wooden shield for a santa. When in reality, You got one gave to you by virtually swapping lower end junk (in comparison a rune large is junk, compared to a kite, and even an easter egg is a junk offer for one santa) for your santa, making your goal a hollow victory and nothing really to brag about, unless you are doing this because you desire a santa or want a free one, then you have accomplished your goal, but this current trend to me is nothing worth bragging about. 2) You're going to get tired of posting bump because people have no desire to support someone based on the attitude displayed in the previous posts to any naysayers or the fact they are too poor and unable to help you leaving you with a 30 page thread that gets "bumped" because you have either burned your bridges or your fanclub is too poor. 3) you are going to wisen up and realize you do not need this forum to get the santa because you take the effort to actually "trade" up and get what you want. and then when you post a say for example 700+ trade log in getting your santa...people will respect you and you will have something to brag about, But at the current rate i see this as nothing more than a oh, i'm posting to get a santa and attempting to look like i am a legendary trader when instead you ride off of people's kindness which in my view, is nothing to brag about If you do decide to keep swapping with what you have currently you have two real options, Hoping for desperate people needing that TT item for a set or costume room hoping they overpay due to need or converting that 300k into GP and using it to buy small "Deals" of players needing to sell something badly.

The value increase is a bit sad and its more like donating than actually trading. Basically the way I see it is you want a free Santa, and don't want the trading to be hard or long, a 10 gp item into a 30k item...which is 3000 times more valueable to a 300k (10x more value) item is no where near small increases, in fact its a massive increase percentage wise. We do, this is a clan discussion, so any sort of discussion topics are welcome Here we encourage both skill and pk clans to be discussed so if you are not enthralled by discussions about clans, I suggest General or off topic No need to lock that as it is an interesting accomplishment and something to be proud of, However sadly there looks like some clans outside of the top 50 who may be able to challenge you, and quite a few who wish not to be ranked that would bump you guys off. The clan I currently reside is in closed, I founded KoFH, its damn hard to run a clan, work a part time job and go to college,And my Co-leader had real life problems that needed to be dealt with so the clan had to go. Currently I have been considering joining a multitude of clans, Including DI and BK. If I led you to believe there was never any problems, I am sorry I made a post that made you think there was none, Because there was and I too left then. It would appear you're under the wrong impression. I'm not sure what else to say in reply to this beyond the fact that you countered my perfectly valid reference to rules with an unrelated accusation which isn't true and was only said to discredit. During 2001-2003 I was a member of the wanderers, Perhaps you did not play runescape then, but it was a top ranked clan from 2001-2003. A top #1-3 for all 3 years. As for my last clan KoFH? Former and current Di members Judiacator , Fear Ninja (humpme), Nitestalker8, Jens14, The Lord88, Pker Dude Jr, Just4u2nv jr, among other notables from both classic and rs2 were members, So don't speak to what you know nothing of. Apparently you do not remember tip.it from before the biased problems that were sadly on this forum, When tip.it was #1 there were never cries of biased moderating. But sadly changes occurred that affected the entire forum as a whole, and the current staff is working hard to repair those damages There were issues in the past no doubt about it, I left then as well. Times have changed and we will not have biased issues. She has picked a forum I believe because she on her own will posted on more than one clan forum to encourage people to come here. How do you know I am not full of bull? Because as one of the users who left , I know what happened and I know what needs to be done to run a clan community correctly. We don't plan to lock and hide your forum topic for recruiting if you don't link back to us, Because we feel that is not needed. We don't plan to use "locking" as a solution to flaming, but rather use the split button, and work with our users. We Plan to retake #1 among clans by not being biased, and listening to the clan community

To me Meeturpker It's up to the Staff to enforce AND interpret the rules and their application. Since it's obviously a condition of interpretation (And this topic is about llama0 being a noob), they're not breaking the law by saying hi on a topic that has no real discussion merit... Therefore what they're doing with saying hi is up to the interpretation of the staff to determine if it's interfering with the intended purpose- Two former known members of the community stopping in to say hi does not make a problem with me.

If the rules were followed to that extent, wouldnt the fake WDB scandal on pages 4-6 of caused a lock? As far as I am concerned any classic legend be it robin hood 2, Erixson or even someone more famous for being annoying like max 333, if they want to post hi, thats fine , I will work on getting special rules for these forums or them clarified some more.
