A few simple questions.
It depends on what you were doing. If you were filling the Unholy Book for its ranging boost, there's no need to fill any other. But it's really up to you. Unholy is offensive, Holy is defensive. Choose what is best for your needs. Are you killing Baby Red Dragons in the Brimhaven Dungeon? I'd recommend it. Use the Babies to block the bigger dragons.

03-Dec-2009 Christmas Card Competition
I have no chance in the world at winning, yet I'm probably going to submit something anyway.

Access to the curse
Hi Polarhei! I've moved your thread to the Quest sub-forum of Website Update & Corrections, as you're more likely to get better feedback there. :) Good luck to you! ~ Lady_Ninane

03-Dec-2009 - The Temple at Senntisten
Well after a certain level, it becomes even more effective than piety. Added onto that the random use of Deflect, plus already existing combat structures, and I think it was a little bit unnecessary for melee. It certainly served as a good reward for offensive-based people who achieved such a high level, but had detrimental effects on the other parts of the triangle. That's just my opinion, and I'm not sure if howbadisbad shares the same thoughts.

Legacy Vs. Dragonwood Matched Opts
I'm pleasantly surprised! I think you guys had a smidge larger level average than them but I honestly wouldn't think that would be terribly significant. Good job guys :D

Study Finds that More Youth Say They'd Make Good Choices than 20 years ago
I find it a bit ironic that the 60% validity bit is also a number that varies greatly depending upon who you ask...much like this comparative study. ^^ What about the concept of political correctness and their effects on this survey? I'd be willing to bet that this generation is more indoctrinated to say the proper thing, rather than actually voice and commit to their beliefs.

New Fairy Rings
Yeah, but a fairy ring that we have to make ourselves displays as "Enchanted Land" and only says "Fairy Ring" when completed. So maybe with the release of FT3 we'll be getting more pre-made fairy rings in addition to these strange plots?

03-Dec-2009 - The Temple at Senntisten
Well, we can be happy that right now only 15,000 people have 95+ prayer. And who knows if all of those people can/have done the quest or even if they still play. Yeah, that number will increase eventually. Here's hoping that in that time, Jagex rebalances Turmoil a little bit.

Am i the only one seeing the opposite? For months players have been hoarding bones, pushing the prices up. This price rise was due to regular demand+Merch demand, probably over double that of normal. With all these being dumped into the g.e now, i'm doubting there is enough added demand through regular players to actually keep the price on any sort of rise, and to actually stop a crash. Especially if the price was to start dropping, it would panic the merchants into selling more, and stop buyers from buying as they would want to wait for the price to drop even lower. It 'could' all end in catastrophe, but only time will tell. People who dump their bones now are missing out on opportunities tbh. The real apex of any price rise wouldn't be until a bit afterwards, right?

Amazing find! :o Now I really can't wait for FT3... Wall at the obby...?

Runescape Lifetime Membership
I remember an incident like that. You wouldn't happen to be referring to the allegedly innocent players who were perma-banned for giving Jagex information regarding the party hat dupe, would you? That would be my biggest fear, honestly: the threat of being perm-banned. As much as Jagex's customer service has improved over the years, there's still the off-chance that a hacker might get you banned and your appeals would be denied. Not to mention the fact that, to reap the full benefits of a lifetime membership, you'd have to play this game for 33 years approximately. There's just too many things that make an option like this, should they ever offer it, unappealing. Your math is slightly incorrect. Currently, the prices (for me, anyway) are $5/month. The proposed price for this lifetime membership is a $200 one time fee. Thus, we divide $200/$5 and receive the answer in months, 40. 40 months is translated to 3.3 years, or 3 years and 4 months. So you were off by a factor of 10. Oh wow. Something should've struck me as horribly wrong when I posted that. Serves me right for posting on the fly. *facepalm* Thanks for the correction X)

'THE' Turns 10 on December 16th
Ideals mean nothing, it's all about the activity and motivation. Luckily, though, these things are closely related to a clan's ideals. Happy for you guys :)

thinking of playing runescape again after over a year
Welcome back, jswaaz! I've moved your thread to the Help and Advice forum. Since this topic is moreso a question than a discussion topic, you're more likely to get quicker, more accurate answers here. :) Good luck if you do decide to come back!

Vengeance vs. Divine Kings
Two sides to every story, I guess. An anticrash can't be everywhere at once to take care of random snipers. Either way, it looks like you were the last ones standing. Good job! :D

D0+LTH destroys FF+Friends
All those options, a dominated fight, and no pk trip afterwards? :shame:

CsForces vs Latvian Archers
That fullout was an absolute slaughter. You guys deserved the win there, but damn. I would've been surprised if LA could've come back from something like that. It's good that your lower levels got some practice in the matched fight. After a win like the one preceding the matched, it doesn't really seem to matter much that it had an impact on your ability to win. GJ CSF.

Divine Forces' Wed pk
Wow, big drop in opts for them, then...where was VR's EST unit, I wonder :3 Good job though, guys. :o

RT vs BK
That chain of KO's plus the unfortunate cabbage tele must've really killed BK's morale. Stellar job though, as always, RT.

Divine Forces' Wed pk
I'm surprised the likes of Corr and EoS could hold themselves back from feasting on free rune from VR. (Not that they're weak, but that it would've been an amazingly one-sided fight if they had worked together.) What was VR's ending?

What 99 do go for...
Since you cut out the following: time consuming skills (agility, farming runecrafting, mining, slayer); expensive skills (herblore, construction, crafting); combat skills (hitpoints, attack, strength, defense, summoning, prayer); easy skills (firemaking, fletching, cooking), that leaves you with only a handful of choices. Fishing, woodcutting, theiving, and hunting. The good thing about this, none of them will cost you a dime. The bad thing about this is that you're probably going to get just as easily bored with these set of skills as you will with any. Out of those three, I'd recommend the woodcutting. However, you'd be doing yourself a favor if you opened yourself up to more choices. Runecrafting might take a while, but it will be minimal loss thanks to cost-effective training methods such as the ZMI altar. Farming, if you're careful enough, will give you profit over time; with a good farming route and careful planning, you could very well be seeing yourself profit WHILE you pursue other 99's. And slayer...well, you said you didn't want combat 99's, but it's a great multi-training skill.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I know I was frustrated by the fact that this was delayed two days. I appreciate quality assurance, but that doesn't lessen the frustration.

RuneScape in the 2009 Yahoo top searches report
That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm really surprised that this game is still so often searched. It's a bit mind boggling.

Investing in vials of water
True, but yet only a few thousand know of the packs :D It was announced as a main-page update. Wouldn't that classify as common knowledge, now? With herbs slowly starting to crash, I'm not sure if investing in products related to Herblore would be your best bet now. Maybe try a little bit, rather than all 30mil, and see how it goes?

EDIT: FFS. Why aren't my quote tags working :S RSOF LINK Well I can finally go to class now, thanks. You beat me to it! I like that she confirmed it was a majaharrat quest, at least. She also said that the reward would be pretty big. We know that there isn't going to be another grandmaster quest this year, so that leaves Master level. The Curse of Araav was master level, too, but not particularly complicated with rewards--they were pure exp. Maybe this'll be a master quest with a small(ish) minigame with it, instead of pure exp? :3
