I dunno, I think they'll level off at 4-5k. They've been going up for 3 days straight now. On another note, third attempt at this D&D...no egg yet. I want an angry chick :(

There would be people who would buy this if they were just starting to play. Jagex wouldn't hurt from doing this, I think. And it might give them more up-front money to start hiring more Content Developement and Quality Assistance team members...maybe.

who thinks we need a new high lvl slayer monster

*cough* Personally yeah, I think we do. But these sorts of topics are better suited for the RSOF Suggestions - Skills forum, OP. -
A Year of Summoning: A year in review.
Kimberly replied to Dean Ambrose's topic in General Discussion
Summoning has come a long, long way...but there are still some little things that need fixing. Noncombat methods of obtaining charms MUST be updated. I don't care if Jagex retracted their original, "Skillers and combat lovers alike will be able to train this!", apologized, and threw skillers a bone anyway. There simply needs to just be more methods of training it. The chest in the Dorgeshuun caves is simply not enough. Armors need summoning attack stats that increase the accuracy of which your familiar hits well! Mayhap I'm a minority, but whenever I use my Mithril Minotaur's Bull Rush scroll, I rarely hit. And if I do, it's usually a 4. Honestly, that random 4 is not worthwhile to me. There's no point in enchanting my Helm of Neitznot to hold those damn pieces of paper when I can just exchange those scrolls for more shards instead. EDIT: And to expand on this point, armors need more summoning DEFENSE as well. What is the point of summoning potions?! Really. Don't get me wrong, I love summoning potions. But look at their price! They're ridiculously cheap. It's not even worth growing spirit weed to make your own. One way to increase the demand for these potions would to make it so that a Summon's static effect does not work when your summoning points hit 0. So if you have a bunyip and your summoning points are zero, it won't heal you passively. Why should unicorns not be able to heal you with scrolls when your points are zero, but your bunyip can? C'mon now. (Note: I don't expect people to like this. But think it out logically, and I think you can at least see where I'm coming from.) There STILL aren't enough multicombat areas for us to use familiars in. The Chaos Tunnels actually relieved this need a good deal, but it's still not worth it to take my Mithril Minotaur to even a multi-combat area when my buyip glorps about, healing me in a far more useful way. Also, why does my Bunyip seem like everyone's pal? He never, ever gets attacked. Could it be they're terrified of the horrendous stench? The mighty glorp? No! Since the Bunyip NEVER attacks an NPC, it in turn never gets attacked. I've yet to be in a situation where my Bunyip were in danger. Simply put, it's overpowered because of this fact, because you'll NEVER SEE IT DIE due to it's AI. Secondary charms are STILL untradeable. Spinner charms, Talon beast charms, abyssal charms, obsidian charms...Why?! Why are these seriously untradeable? Don't keep busting my proverbial balls here, Jagex. Most of these things aren't even a 100% drop from the monster that drops them! I would LOVE to use my Abyssal Lurker, Parasite, Titan, etc...but it's just not worth the extra time to go get those god damn charms. For those naysayers about making secondary charms untradable, your major argument hinges on the fact that Talon beast charms give 1k exp. Have you ever tried to kill the Talon Beasts that oh-so silently lurk along the roads of Burg De Rott? They're terribly difficult to kill in packs, and love to kill any traveller that you happen to be leading through the gloomy marsh. Simple solution: the easy path Talon Beasts of Burg De Rott ramble drop its charms at < 50% while the hardest paths give it 100%. Newer players are simply too intimidated by this skill to train it early on. It's too much money for them and multicombat situations for them to use familiars usually mean instant death for the wandering lvl 40. A beginner zone would be nice, like a "baby" version of the Chaos Tunnels. Or there should be a nice tutorial miniquest where newbies can learn how to use their Dreadfowls, scrolls, etc effectively in combat. Yes, they DO need it spelled out for them and NO, you can't expect every level 40 to go to Tip.It. OP made lots and lots of good points. But for the sake of discussion--and playing a little devil's advocate--I really think these pointed out flaws lower the significance of Summoning as a Skill. I would like to see a day when ALL familiars of all levels are used in everyday combat, when the Summoner is level 3 to level 133...but people need to see the skill's WORTH. -
+1 There's nothing in her post to even SUGGEST archeology being a skill. In fact, the only link between a possible "archeology skill" and those posts is the fact that she says, "Archeologist." C'moooon. Enough already.

You are right, i went there. I apologize I was misinformed  , it looks like the runescape wikipedia isn´t a very reliable source. I finished the quest and looted it once, but i didn´t mind going again since i couldn´t be bothered...sorry Ehhhh bummer...

Y-you....you can do that once per week!?!!?!?!?! WTFWTFWTF *runs to go do this now*

I hate that sort of logic. Anyone could buy gold if they were willing to take a risk, yet that was unfair to the people who didn't, and therefore against the rules. Anyone could do luring if they knew how, yet it was unfair to the victims of it. Drop-fixing is unfair to the people who PK legitimately .

Personally, I get quite a few clues that take me to Arandar or somewhere in that maze forest. I would get the agility level simply because high agility is useful over time. Not to mention quests are ftw.
-
If they're not your primary training sets, then yes. A cannon is worth it if you have the cash to spend on cannonballs.
-
I don't think there's a way to determine if someone's dropfixing or not so unless they change the PvP system, no.
-
Why not get infinity gloves instead of barrows gloves? They give an extra 2+ magic attack bonus, don't they? EDIT: and an amulet of glory gives better defensive stats and the same magic boost plus arguably the most convenient teleport to the bank and GE.

I'm extremely dissapointed they nerfed the phoenix pouch exp. I would have much rather they made the quills untradeable rather than cut the exp in half. Now what was once a rather good Distractions and Diversions (D&D) is now one of the more useless D&D's.
-
No. Then it WOULD be another skill just like construction. Charms are the only thing that make it unique in the long run.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if it stole your password. Readers beware.

It is more faster than rune. I don't know how much faster exactly, however. It's worth buying if you're going for the most EXP per hour, I think, if you have a little extra scratch. However, as an alternative, if you have 92 firemaking, the Inferno Adze is comparable to the Dragon Axe with no cost to own (except for the logs to obtain it).

I did this, except instead of hybridding, I just solo'ed Dagannoth Rex. I made 9mil in 2-3 days. At the time, I was going to buy a Bandos Chestplate, but I changed my mind ^^. Here's a link to one of the best DK guides on the site: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=744889

mithril dragons and chewed bones (answered)
Kimberly replied to Shady Character's topic in Help and Advice
I kill about 6-7 mithril dragons per trip with 84 range. OP, you'll be fine killing just one mithril dragon. Use a mixture of blood and diamond bolts, blood until he's at half health then diamond the rest of the way. Use Karils if you don't mind risking it your very first time. Antifire shield, rune crossbow, archer helm or guthix coif, snakeskin boots. You'll be fine. EDIT: Ladycai is right, scrummaging mangled bones from the ancient cavern is easier than getting chewed bones from a Mithril Dragon. You should search the corpses around the first level by the Barbarians and Waterfiends on the first level for mangled bones instead. You'll have to fight a barbarian after lighting the pyreship. -
You're right, that's totally why they instituted the trading limits. I don't know where I heard of that rumor about "credit card fraud" and "banks refusing to accept credit card payments." Clearly, those things were all fallacies and they did it to protect the scammed victims.

Isn't the Youtube/Google partnership grand? :rolls: What about putfile.com?

Lesser reborn rangers drop gold charms, too. And Greater reborn mages drop curry, I think :-k I should've taken a screenie.
-
Interesting combination with Full Armadyl and a Zamorak spear.
-
Bork is harder than this...I wish there were some of the reborn minions in the actual lair flinging range and melee shots at you whilst you fight the phoenix. Then, when the phoenix is weakened sufficiently, they stop attacking and kneel or something. I don't know...I just feel like the trek through the cave was 10 times harder than the actual fight--which isn't saying much--and find the whole thing a little disappointing. I can't believe that quest was even worth two quest points. Tell you what I want them to update: the quest point distribution system! It's ridiculous. You'd find it very challenging without pray, but I assume so...

Look at other creatures such as the dragon, the wolfpertinger, and the unicorn. All of these are mythical, high leveled creatures. However, I tend to agree with you. This will probably be a "middle of the road" summon since it's being pair with what I can only assume will be a mid-level quest.
