  1. The go for the maul, to be honest 85 and frost dragons are over rated. I much prefer TDS for the charms, effigies and for how bot free they are compared to frost dragons.
  2. Better money is to drop salmon/trout and spend the time saved killing hill giants for their bones.
  3. You have more staying power with Virtus because brews heal more. The extra healing more then makes up for the damage from any extra hits. Brews healing more means less time spent brewing means more time spent attacking means more dps means faster kills means more gp/h.
  4. Firemaking if you wouldn't be using logs higher then maples in members anyways. Powermining iron using the resource dungeon to bank would be the same exp/h in f2p as in members (or close). PKing just for fun. Staking just for fun. Runecrafting sucks in f2p even harder then in members. In members you would want to be doing steam runes or ZMI, which is what I've been doing for the past week, and it much, much faster then f2p runecrafting.
  5. Sally ammo is much cheaper then comparatively good spells. Also with this method you will be using less expensive supplies and will likely be having faster chests.
  6. Rigor is a bigger increase to DPS. It depends on if you solo, duo or trio though. For trio I would go with rigor.
  7. It's a goal, people who play grindscape like goals.
  8. Lures are more or less the same, north spot is still best because there is no downtime. Don't use a handcannon unless you are 99 fm. Rigor is amazing. Use the unicorn. Use Kxbow. Pro swapping will result in max k/h, goodluck. TDS are still mostly experience based, not gear based. Oh, bring a dragon defender with darklight to bring the shield down. Use your ovl. Derp fragmented post.
  9. You see people cutting them for the same reason you see people slaying with godswords. People aren't always smart, in fact, quite often people are idiots. From the looks of it though you want WC exp and money. The best way to do that would be to do ivy while farming herbs, always have a magpie familiar foraging for you and wear a rabbit foot necklace. Keep your sound on and you can afk, only swapping back to RS when you hear yourself stop chopping of when you hear a nest fall. Make sure to do your dalies. You can also do some light flipping on the side if you're into that. Then, once you have the WC level you want go and do your best moneymaker. Voila, WC exp and money.
  10. Took me only a few hours to use them up but gave me a heap of magic exp using string jewelry.
  11. Maul for wfs, tds, sara. I predict that you will go back and get a rapier though for other places. Rapier owns pretty much everything except the activities you listed.
  12. Fly fish to 99 (or wherever you want to be), use the time saved kill hill giants for profit. Advantages: Faster fishing exp then lobs/swords During time saved you get more profit then you would at lobs/swords During the time saved you also get combat exp OR Work for an hour IRL, take that money and buy membership, then have actually good fishing exp and moneymaking.
  13. Both, if you're alone use DFS, if you're crashing or anticrashing use defender. Totally worth the inventory spot to have both options open to you.
  14. Nope, you should save and get the zammy book. Here is why, the books cannot be resold. So, for example, if you ever decide to upgrade to a zammy book you have actually lost the cash you spend on the book of law. Since you won't use it anymore that cash was totally wasted. However, if you simply save for a zammy book then in the long run you will actually save the money you could have wasted on the book of law. Suck it up, it's only a few hours of moneymaking but you will actually save cash in the long run. Edit: Checked the price and it's more expensive then I remember. Either way totally worth it as you will have it forever. Save and get the zammy book.
  15. Short answer: They are poor exp. Long answer:
  16. Relax, I decided to try out both. I find that I prefer ZMI, thanks for the input though everyone.
  17. Yes you can. This is H&A, you can say whatever the [bleep] you want and justify it by fun. OP: If you find stealing creation fun enough to justify playing three hours of stealing creation to get the bonus exp you would get in one hour of combat, then go ahead. From a purely efficiency standpoint though, it is not worth it.
  18. Yep, people in DGS understand that dying can be a very efficient way of completing a dungeon. IE dying for prayer.
  19. You could always upgrade your rings.... But it sounds like if your main bosshunting is arma then rigor would serve you best.
  20. Check that hundered page thread. It is an AMAZING clan. 45 defense is the only skill requirement so whoever you were talking to is wrong. It might be hard if people are higher levels and you can expect to die a bit more but honestly, it is still the best way to become better and learn. I'll be honest that I'm not the best at dung but these guys are willing to help me become better. Just be a positive person mostly and try to do your best to become better every dungeon and you shouldn't have any problems. Did a row of 23 min abandons today with them, it was awesome. (Thanks Eyebeam) Edit: we have some members around your level who get on moderately well. Being awesome at dung isn't about your combat level as much as it is about so many other factors.
  21. Well, I guess since you don't care about actually being good at the game then you should just get whatever the [bleep] makes you feel best about yourself. Be it law staffs or chaotics or rings. Whatever is fun, right?
  22. Oh really? People pay 150m for a 5% boost in DPS outside of dung, the difference between peity and turm. That's also the difference between a t5 and t10 berserker ring. And it will save many hours if you plan on eventually getting 120 dung. At least get t9 by level 100 dung. Same goes for other rings, they are simply too good to pass up. Rings are actual dungoneering rewards. Edit: The difference between peity and turm is actually 10%, but still it puts how good those rings are into perspective. Edit2: Oh and you can also get tokens from rings back if you choose. That means once you get whatever level makes you happy you can get those tokens back. You can't sell a chaotic back.
  23. You should have at least t9 berzerker by level 99. The sooner you get t10 the better, it will save hours on the way to 120. To be honest I would choose t10 zerker over a CLS any day. Also a high teir in alternate rings that you might use. Sneakerpeeper is also really, really sexy. Edit: Rings take priority because they are the only rewards that speed up getting other rewards.
  24. Sounds costly, any clue what the gp/exp for each method would be?
