  1. not hard to keep both windows open simultaneously to drag the keys around while you've got a moment to spare in dungs... nice tool.
  2. There's no "best" at any given level; it also depends on if you wanna be a killer or a survivor. By that I mean, do you wanna be a killer by constantly killing people as well as constantly getting killed yourself... ...or be a survivor-- constantly "win" fights-- never having to retreat, always making your opponent flee. You never die, but you also rarely get kills unless you can prevent your opponent from escaping the fight (meaning-- don't PK in Edgeville) I was a survivor on my main account before it got banned-- twas a maxed tank. Then I was a killer on this account for most of the time, staying at 1 def then moving up to 45 def after losing my main. Both are pretty fun styles, depending on your tastes. Idk how much this still applies, but before I leveled up past 45 defense, I'd PK with melee mostly and maxed out str bonuses (torso, fire cape, defender, etc.). My opponents were mostly 1 def pures... a lot of them would try to ice barrage me so I'd also bring range and it'd catch them by surprise (this was during the era where meleers would rather throw a temper tantrum and call mages farcasters rather than come prepared to fight). Since torso doesn't affect your ranged att bonus, sometimes I'd basically wear str-boosting gear, with dhide chaps and MSB and then finish people off with DDS specs (msb was too unreliable). It destroyed any 1 def pure lol Like I said, though-- there's not really a "supreme" build-- every type of PKing account has strengths and weaknesses. Your job should be to figure out what kind of build the majority of PKers have-- and then create a PKer that can destroy that build easily
  3. didn't realize how cheap prayer is to train nowadays compared to this summer! started at lvl 80 prayer today... currently at 87. 8 lvls to go! (pant)
  4. (meathead tone of voice) YEAH! CARNAGE!
  5. since the hati gloves apparently work for all "combat" things-- I'd assume that includes 2x chin and barrage xp. but I wonder if that includes summoning and prayer-related training activities. they're both combat skills, though you don't really train them while actually in combat  as far as nex goes, assuming his drops are tradeable (lol), all I ask is that the GE prices for it are set somewhat accurately (assuming it'll be a while before price ceilings/floors are removed). nothing sucked more than getting 3 pairs of claws when TDs came out but the GE said they were 120k, while people were offering 50M+ and I didn't have any junk :wall:
  6. It's more like the Godsword for rangers Looks great statwise, sounds good on paper, lots of pretty numbers...but it get's shafted by other weapons in almost every category So what was your max when you used the bow? Or have you not yet? Because you are speaking as if you have tried, tested and dismissed it. According to Jagex, the bow will be approx. as accurate as the Chaotic Cross bow, it will fire at the same speed, and the shots will have the same power to that of a dragon crossbow bolt. We do not need the actual bow to be out, to know how well that is going to perform. Unless they change something with the bow before release...or did not describe it correctly, the new bow will not be efficient for training, casual monster killing, or bossing. Why wouldn't it be good for bossing if it's got the same stats as the chaotic xbow?
  7. Food for thought: one of the psych studies I read this year said, in a nutshell, that one of the biggest predictors of a failing marriage is rushing into it by not waiting at least a full year following a prior marriage. Though that entails a prior divorce, so...
  8. your stats have very little to do with your staking capabilities :wall: just use your main
  9. In a nutshell, your goal's to clean the other person. Whoever has the bigger wallet has the greatest advantage in doing so. Stats and equipment are just variables to consider when choosing who to stake and for how much.
  10. That's more or less what the wilderness is :P
  11. I wish someone had proof that it is impossible to get blackmarks for it, considering a bug abuse offense is an instant perm ban w/o appeal.
  12. Oh dear, never remembered Mahatma was such a [cabbage]. Flaming each one of his opponents, going red in the face for someone potting or using a prayer  He wouldn't last 5 minutes in today's RuneScape... His first PK vid was made during the golden age of PK'ing-- if he maged guys wearing rune, they'd immediately pull out an msb and some dhides and keep fighting. A couple years later, if you tried maging someone in rune, they would throw a tantrum and immediately stop the fight by teleporting or running away and would call you a "farcaster." It was frustrating to see how stupid the majority of PKers had become lol All those rules people make up. no safing (what? can't prevent your own death? what happened to the more you eat the faster you are out of food) Also that vid shows quite the stupid pk er, thinking his rules are the rules, whats up with prayer? he uses protect item....thats also prayer plus he uses boosting prayer and he uses boosting pots but he is against defense pots? I dunno but if I ever fight him i make sure to bring def pot. As stated previously by someone else, Mahatma was different from PK'ers nowadays. Mahatma doesn't actually frown upon using defense pots-- he'd consider you an idiot if you didn't use one against him. He's just talking trash as a fighting strategy to distract his opponent. Now, all the 10-year-olds that saw his videos and thought that he was awesome didn't quite comprehend his dialect-- they trash talk because, well, they're stupid lol
  13. Oh don't worry, I have enough high level DG friends to never have to DG with people like you again. We don't need to change ourselves because we've already far surpassed people like you. Funny how that works out- you make an effort to do something the best way and you end up better at it than other people. Lol It's funny cuz he proved my point but still doesn't realize it
  14. "You'd best change your point of view. Stop blaming me, thinking I'm the problem. If you think I'm the problem, then you have to change me. If you realize that you're the problem, then you can change yourself, learn something and grow wiser. Most people want everyone else in the world to change but themselves. Let me tell you, it's easier to change yourself than everyone else."
  15. I already do that whenever authoritarian teammates get on my nerves :P You are exactly why 117 and 148 are horrible, and why requiring teaming for this skill was one of the stupidest ideas Jagex has ever had. I was being sarcastic (hence, the raspberry)
  16. Are they supposed to just ... sit and watch  They're supposed to ... be prepared
  17. INB4GFTOG Forgot to add that. How would I go about saying this.. How you explained it wasn't so bad. Just...change it to be grammatically correct: "I have strong feelings for you, but you've hurt me alot in the past, and I'm not sure what to make of it. It's been years, but I still feel this way, and everytime I feel secure in my emotions, something pops up and I'm right back to the confusion I started in. Like for instance, just recently, [what'shisface] started coming up again. I thought you were done with that guy! He's not right for you. I know it. I can see it. I just don't understand why you can't. And I can't watch you go around and live the life you do with him. I'm sorry, but I just can't handle it. I want to be with you, and I can't sit back and watch you act this way with other guys. I want to be with you. And if you're aren't capable of giving me that, than I'm not comfortable being around you at all. The emotional strain is just too much. I'm sorry. This is just how I feel" sound about right there, bro? Sounds like a good monologue for a play. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? EDIT: "Aren't we all just players on the stage of life?" ...it would definitely be better to refrain from saying anything like that to her >_>

  20. They probably do not wish to cooperate because you sound like an authoritarian leader lol Yeah, not gonna lie it's hard to maintain respect for certain people on these forums when they go from using their "intelligence" to help others, to using it to be a [bleep]. Seriously, how hard is it to offer constructive criticism if someone's "obviously" doing something wrong? When you tell everyone, "You're not only wrong, but also an idiot for doing things your way instead of my mathematically superior way," it's no surprise that nobody on these forums likes you lol
  21. Well I'm only 76 dg right now, so I'm stuck using 117 unless I consult other tiffers like you suggested. Though, through happenstance I've bumped into a few tiffers in my dungeons along the way and they've usually been valuable assets to my team-- however at the same time they're usually quite bossy and stressed-out on maximizing efficiency... this attitude sucks all the fun out of the skill imo. I'm not saying all dg efficiency junkies are type-A personalities; it's just that from my personal experience, anybody who bosses the team around to maximize efficiency quickly becomes the most valuable and most hated player in the team lol I have fun spending (wasting) my time mining/smithing katagon and fishing blue crabs, and so far no one in 117 has objected to it-- they usually appreciate it when I supply everyone with goodies. It takes me about an hour to do a large dungeon, and after each dungeon I'm always excited to do another one. If I was stressing myself out by racing against the clock all the time, there's no way I'd be willing to continue doing dungeons on a consistent basis. Again, not everyone is like me (*directs reader's attention to the post above mine*)-- some people enjoy completing dungeons as fast as they can, and they never get tired of doing it that way. Similarly, there's some things in RS which I do with the utmost efficiency and never get sick of doing it that way. but as far as my dungeoneering strategy goes, some call it slow... I call it relaxed and under control :)
  22. Quy, do you know if it's against the rules to log out every minute to maintain the stew boost for as long as wanted w/o having to mix more stews?
