Botting in Runescape
Come on now. It's not that hard to identify spambots at the Grand Exchange, and getting rid of those would be a first step. And people do worse jobs than sit around and ban people.

Tip.It Times - 15th April 2012
More precisely, as far as I know you couldn't go past level 20 except for the Assist system, which could grant a maximum 30k/day*7000days=210m experience. It would be a lifetime's work, literally.

Squeal of Fortune + Buyable Spins
Hopefully he means that the quest itself (or showing off with that Quest Cape) is more enjoyable than grinding that skill.

I found fleshies to be the same xp as spiders, yet they require far less food. But it is up to you.

Botting in Runescape
I still chop willows! On a more serious note, I do still care about the botting issue. Despite it being utterly pointless I report all of the spammers I see, and the ones that send me private messages. One time I went to every free world and reported all of them at the Grand Exchange. Why is it pointless? Because even if Jagex trusts my opinion (which ought to be decent considering my track record by now), someone has to review the report and rubberstamp it. And by the time that happens, most likely a pmod will have muted the bot or submitted a higher-priority report anyway. But I never stopped trying.

The community is to blame for everything
Thank you, for telling me HOW I SHOULD PLAY. I seem to remember these forums going into zerker mode because another group of people did that. No? Oh, my mistake. Fortunately though, I'm neither naive or stupid enough, to by into the "hurr cash4horsey" nor dicing/[insert] because with more than 15 seconds spent in the real world, you learn the house always wins (and don't get me started on stakers). But at the end of the day, others dice/whatever, they'll keep falling into the trap of the *hurr doubling cash* because experience is the best teacher. I think a fair deal would be that players won't tell others how to play, and in return they won't complain and shout "no-lifer" when others have higher stats or more money. I suppose, but there are connections. Begging is indicative of laziness, and because of laziness those beggars may be more likely to just spend $5 on gold to try it out, rather than attempt earning it. This further fuels the black market...

Fork Handle
Four candles/Fork Handles, okay...but what is that supposed to mean? Are they indicating how we keep misunderstanding something?

Hmm, I didn't know that.

Flip merching severerly limited
The real winners will be the wealthy people that can flip the items that are illiquid enough that you can't really flip their limit more than once in four hours anyway. Or shall we just say the middle class got relatively poorer?

My friends list just went bananas
I started to look, but guess what...the forums were down...

My friends list just went bananas
All of a sudden I have a friends list composed almost entirely of completely unfamiliar names, including [#JEOOFGOW] (forced name change) and "#Friendxx" (xx is some two-digit number). This is ironic because I haven't seen anyone with a forced name change recently, on my friends list. This happened earlier, then reverted to its original state, and then relapsed a short while ago. A few of my friends, both old and new, are still on my list. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does it have something to do with Website Maintenance?

A hidden update: using talismans on an altar no longer prompts whether to make tiaras or staffs without a staff in your inventory. Yay! It still doesn't work.

By the way, where is Tip.It's graph of the number of current subscribers? I did a search but failed to find it.

Botting in Runescape
But the number of 14 day trial memberships "dropping off" the list should be equal to the number of new ones, unless they're massively accelerating the number of bots they use.

Botting in Runescape
Recently the number of "subscribers" has apparently soared. I think I know why:
