Okay: Jagex used to use a captcha system to find bots. All RS bots were able to break captchas shortly afterwards. It doesn't work. Personally, and I'm a firm believer in this, the only way to catch bots effectively is to add a new random event every update. Let no-one know exactly how the random works, make all randoms give nice or useful rewards, and that way genuine bots will be fooled and broken. That's the only way, as far as I'm concerned. For your information, the only type of bot that concerns me is the RWT bot/gold farmer (who might as well be). I don't care about home botting, as that isn't currently a particularly big issue and is used for comparitively small impact to the RS community. As far as I am aware however, there is no way to break the typical home bot-someone who games on a console and looks over every few minutes to check they haven't encountered a random event. If they leave it on overnight, that's a different issue.

Philanthropism isn't as easy as it sounds. Someone should totally set up a charity. Personally? I suggest you hold a drop party, having bought a variety of useful items that vary in worth.

However, it certainly used to be that the occasional rich player would 'trim' armours for free, exchanging a gilded or trimmed set for a standard one because they were bored. Not all were scammers.

They're a private couple. The point was that you got new, cool items from diango. Largely useful in player gatherings, things like confetti, fireworks, firecrackers, a commemorative mug...y'know, just lots of new and interesting emotes.

Ehh...as much as I agree with your post in that the colours should be a bit more vibrant, I think those colours are a bit garish. And I don't think they're runescape-y at all, which the current cape is. I'll be happy to stick with what we get.

They probably aren't worthwhile if you hate doing them, but I generally store them in me bank and take them out for slayer tasks in case a better type drops. Normally they're worth 10-50k (mediums, mostly) but if I got something good then it would really help me out :) .

Birds nests. Granted, they wouldn't be able to get seeds or eggs, but it would still be useful. Also the giant mole, although yes you'd need to introduce light sources. Not a big deal otherwise.

also give f2p splitbark. f2p need something like that. members never use it. That's because splitbark is a niche item that's difficult to get hold of, looks silly, and has the wrong bonuses to be any use, really.

Bandos isn't necessarily the best armour. Guthan's has better defence, for instance, despite it's lack of a strength bonus.

The best way to report bots: With a group of people, record names in notepad-we (BAM clan) got one guy to trick the bots into being teleported by an elemental but still thinking they were in the garden, meaning they ran into a corner before carrying on. Write down names in notepad, when you've got all the bots then go to a different world. When you want to clear your list, go to the lobby and report all of the people. There's no timer limit and you've got their names next to you, making things a lot simpler. One of the advantages of doing it with lots of people is, of course, that multiple reports increase the chance of a bot being looked at by Jagex. So long as they're from different people.

Here's the real question: why do people use a zamorak spear at waterfiends? A gravite 2h would work better.

I've you've literally just finished the quest, then do 4 super-quick tasks with Machzna so you start earning points quickly. And whatever master you use, make sure you're 10th and 50ths tasks are with the highest masters.

I've been tempted to RWT occasionally, but never to bot. Althought that is because I made a special 'bot-test' account to see if the free ones are any good. Won't tell you the name, but the bots suck and I can thoroughly disreccomend them. NO harm done to anyone, but I did learn that mining is a great way to make money when starting off on a new account.

1. Get Barrows gloves. Even I have them. 2. Get 70 prayer, for piety and an enhanced excalibur. You'll have to level some non-combat skills too, like fletching and fishing.

You should see a doctor ASAP, not put it off until it gets worse. Prevention is better than cure, no? Well done on what you did.

Have you got an enhanced excalibur or a set of Guthans? One of the two might save a little worrying.

So that's why prayer potions are cheaper than they used to be :) .

I would look down on them, but I don't have that level. I would only look down on them if they started bragging about their acheivement or one-upping me over it, so long as they were in other directions woefully unbalanced and thought their acheivement was best.

Using a little magical theory here, all teleports work in almost the same way: they find a means of entering and exiting the abyss. The abyss allowing for near instantaneous travel, they get you there almost instantly. The Grand Council has chosen to regulate this plane and at considerable expense has managed to enact a situation where only a few exits are possible. They've also made sure (for your protection) that nothin can teleport in from level 20 wilderness or above. Their final safeguard, and a means that they enforce, is the ability to prevent acess to the abyss from anywhere to a single person. They have given the best of mages access to this spell in the belief that it is better to disallow teleports than to allow too many. I hope this answers your question. Mizgog
