It was the same parents (presumably), just a different nest. And actually, we used to breed these and would actually give the eggs to a different finch (Society) because the Gould's supposedly aren't as good of parents.

Found this baby blue jay in our yard so I stuck him and another one into an empty nest - which wasn't theirs originally - and their parents came and took care of them. :thumbup: [spoiler=better bird pic] I've since gone clean shaven since it was getting scruffy haha.

Really hard to say now. I would wait for the combat rebalancing before getting too involved with a new account. Combat will be changing pretty drastically it seems.

If RW is to be trusted, FOG gloves do not work. Even if they did work, you can only have 1 pair at a time, which would be a major pain to leave runespan for.

I'm semi-retired now I guess, though I expect I'll get back into the swing of things once I move back to college. Girlfriend + work + lack of interest is why I went from 3hrs/day to logging on once a week for maybe an hour.

I don't do combat and I've never been bossing, so take what I say with a few pinches of salt: :P I'd pretty much use them for pvm that takes more than a few seconds to kill. For slayer, they are pretty nice for mithril dragons. Can't think of any boss that they shouldn't be used on unless the APM just gets too insane.

World 100 Shantay is probably the best spot. Personally, I keep 2 urns in my inventory so I don't have to worry about my first one running out mid inventory. Just transport it away right before banking and pick out a fresh one before the next batch. I'm sure there is a better method, but I like it. Make sure you wield the upgraded dwarven axe since it gives some bonus xp per rocktail (2 I think).

Use it now, yeah. No advantage to staying F2P.

Try deleting your cache.

If you are really concerned with keeping your farming supplies on your person, livid farm is a good idea. Don't need terribly many inventory spots. You can also fletch during your downtime.

Just have fun. *eyes twinkle* I just finished my first year, and it was a blast living on campus. If you don't already have a job, I would suggest trying to get an on-campus job. I'm doing undergraduate research, and it also landed me a job for the summer. I wasn't initially planning on getting a job, but it looks great on a résumé if you work throughout college. Other than that, I would suggest getting to know your professors as it has a big impact. My professors are a lot laid back towards students that are willing to learn and just speak with them after class about whatever. As for what to bring, I wish that I had bought more snacks as sometimes it's a pain in the ass to walk to the cafeteria. And I can see it out of my window. :P

Sometimes having everything on minimum settings isn't the best option; I actually lag less on max than I do on min. Have you tried allocating more memory to Java? You can do that by changing the runtime parameters.
