Fine. Don't believe it. I honestly don't think Jagex tracks which account participated in which quest. It's probably not easy for Jagex to fix this. If there are numerous accounts by people who claim to have lost theirs, even if it's in all likelihood a fake attempt to get Jagex to give them a holiday event they missed, do you need to wear your holiday item THAT badly that you can't wait a day or two for Jagex to straighten it out? #-o I could wait if they were going to fix it, which I'm sure they will. I mean, it's a grim reaper hood, not exactly the most useful item. If I had lost the hood (which I didn't) and they were just going to remove them and not help those who lost it that actually got it, I'd be more concerned about this same approach happening to other items. I'd be pissed if it was, say, my Yoyo. Nobody takes my yoyo and gets away with it. :evil:

I think they should scrap the holiday events, and just make holiday related quests instead. The rewards are not tradable anymore, and most of them you get, destroy and don't see again. Except the quest can be done any time during the year, so that means we'll never have another unique holiday item. To that, I say nay.

Once again...Omali gets the win...made me laugh... But seriously...why would you even consider hunting on a pvp world? It's great due to the empty skilling locations. Not in this case but in most cases, you could do a skill for hours without meeting a PvP'er. Next time when you are hunting, make sure to bring a House teletab. Also, it wouldn't hurt to bring Black d hide and DDS. Also, there are better activities to do instead of Chinchompas. Try one that requires constant banking, such as Woodcutting. At one point, he should've said to himself: "I have over half of a thousand chinchompas and can die at any minute. Maybe I should bank these?"

I always don my easter egg on holidays and do some roleplaying. People get a kick out of it. It's all about making the holidays fun. :thumbsup:

I'm not saying that ranging over obstacles is bad, but this is no ordinary obstacle. Ordinarily its a wall, or a fence, or something like that. Something that can be ran around. They work well on monsters but it should be extremely difficult to keep an obstacle between you and another player, who's AI is a bit more advanced ;) It is, essentially, a fence that you can teleport across. When a player hops over to fight the ranger, the ranger hops back over. He uses no run energy, needs no special tactics, he just clicks and he's instantly out of reach again. Its not fair. And to all those who say "range back", he shouldn't HAVE to bring range or magic just to fight someone back if he doesn't want to, and to those who say "fight somewhere else", same deal. If he wants to fight in Edgeville, he sure as hell should get the opportunity to fight there without some feature abusing rangers or mages. Here's an idea: Don't pk near the wilderness ditch. If nobody is stupid enough to fall for that trick AND continue trying to catch the person as opposed to having half a brain and walking two feet out of their range, they won't do it.

So I was in a pvp world, and someone initiated pvp with me. WHAT THE HELL JAGEX? WHAT DO YOU THINK PVP WORLDS ARE INTENDED FOR? WTF!!!!! PvP in PvP worlds? Someone needs to tell Jagex to stop screwing up their updates.

Actually, it is a quest: oh i see my bad on that To expand on that, the quest itself will become permanent after the two week event is over, only accessible to members. This is certainly an interesting sounding Halloween, and hopefully will give way to more holiday themed quests. I'd like to see how many f2p'ers miss this quest.
