  1. Actually, he suffocated. It's extremely hard to breath when your head is continually stuffed in such a small, enclosed space.
  2. Like I said, sharing your level 9 stat is like a teenager coming out of the bathroom and saying "I made a poopie" and expecting everyone to congratulate him. Reading is an accomplishment that makes you more intelligent, and takes months to learn and years to perfect. Grinding woodcutting for a couple hours and leveling up isn't an accomplishment, even less of one by comparison to learning to read.
  3. No, that's just you scrambling for something to whine about. It is, Jagex is in the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest free to play game in the world. That's why free players outnumber members by about six to one, right? If you keep repeating it, eventually it might come true. I think it's lame of you to continue these baseless, whiny "moral crusades" against Jagex based on your own boneheaded opinions you decide to put forward as facts and representations of the community as a whole. Stop speaking for what interests millions of other people, you can barely speak for yourself.
  4. I would not ever support removing the GE. There are some items I've bought on the GE that took a couple weeks to go through. Imagine spending even longer sitting outside World 2 Falador spamming "omg buying ___ for (x)k over market value" and bumping a topic on the forums. It's like Ford saying "You know, I don't like our Taurus. Let's de-invent the car, and go back to horse and buggy."
  5. What happened in your childhood that you need a pat on the back for every insignificant thing you do in a video game? Sharing your level 9 stat is about as much of an accomplishment as "I made a poopie." Some might find it cute, but the rest of us don't want to hear about it. When people announce their levels, it's for one of a few reasons: 1. It's low and they expect everyone to give them a pat on the back anyway. 2. They think they're the highest level in the area and want everyone to go "omg ur so gud". 3. They just want attention. Leveling just isn't as sweet when your craving for attention isn't being fed.

Over complicating, yea. Making you do stuff like click "open wardrobe" and then click "search wardrobe". What do they think we are? Twelve? Good thing you're speaking up for those who haven't finished primary school yet and haven't discerned their [wagon] from their elbow. As for the lag, making each section instanced would only add to said lag, not detract from it. Because they are rewards for little events that Jagex has three or four times per year. Not a fancy toy to be given to greedy kiddies with attention spans too small to focus for fifteen or twenty minutes for a little event. You haven't "earnt" anything, you're just a spoiled child. Oh my god you didn't have to earn something once that means Jagex should completely throw stuff out the window so you can have everything right now and right now. tl:dr: I'm sorry Jagex doesn't cater to your childish desire for instant gratification. I believe Funcom is creating a kid-oriented MMO that should adhere more to your tastes. Best yet, it's free to play! Otherwise, there is a pop-up book in the lobby you can play with. Some of the pages have dials, so remember to ask an adult before you switch them. Don't want you giving yourself a paper cut from the complicated mechanics.
  7. Merry Christmas. Enjoying the holidays with a maple bacon lollipop. With real bacon inside!
  8. Too late, already forwarded to the FBI
  9. Ayup. Back when Edgeville was just the abandoned village.
  10. This pretty much sums it up.

Welcome to the internet. May I take your coat, nerd? Common knowledge: If you flaunt it on the internet, you're lying.
  12. Sweet a laptop... False alarm. It's a Dell!
  13. A longskirt? That would be a dress. Do tell
  14. They are? I'm pretty sure Jagex has said that they're an extra perk for being members, you know when they canned the short-lived idea of making the capes f2p.
  15. I misread this as well. First thought was "a spell to withdraw items from the bank? " Can't see how anyone wouldn't support it. Question, though: What would happen if you tried to withdraw more than you had? Would it withdraw as many of each rune as possible, or would it stop at the spell-quantity that couldn't be fully withdrawn?
  16. forsakenmage is the closest you will get, but there is no official tip.it clan chat in-game.
  17. Cry some more. It was a small reward for a fun event that took about 10 minutes a day for four days. Doesn't matter what reward they gave because you would still be whining about it. Jagex: Update! Canadiansmurf:
  18. It's called a book. Read the text....
  19. They were hiding them on the RSOF and asked fansites not to allow people to post them, but they can't make it against the rules to share answers to the clues.
  20. Runescape has such a cheap monthly price, that I think I'd keep paying monthly. At least I would be assured that Jagex wouldn't pull a Flagship Studios on us. Pulling a Flagship Studios is a term where an MMO developer offers a lifetime subscription and then shuts down the service before the lifetime subscription price is paid off. Hellgate: London, by Flagship Studios, offered a lifetime subscription for $150 USD, alongside the $10 monthly subscription. Due to poor public reaction, Flagship Studios suspended payments and stopped billing customers 8 months later in July 2008, in preparation for an eventual shutdown. As that would cover only $80 of the original $150, anyone who purchased the lifetime subscription came out at least at a $70 loss, or almost 50% of the total fee.
  21. Awesome quest, expanded by the Verac Helm I received from doing the Barrows during the quest. One level closer to doing Within The Light, and 4.1mil richer.
  22. Is WGS considered a Mahjarrat quest ? I hope it is so that less people can do it if the reward is something like TD's Also why do people assume the next GM quest won't be till next year. The only mention of a GM quest in the content Q&A says It was said by Mod MMG sometime after While Guthix Sleeps (when people were screaming every week that the sequel would be released that week) that the next grandmaster wouldn't be for something like a year to a year and a half.
  23. Thats from the Runetek5 Dev blog. Neither do you. :-P Jagex saying that they're working on something and it actually coming out are two very different things. If they're going to implement Directx in Runescape, they're going to have to write the bindings themselves as, already said, development on such a project ceased back in 2006. Jagex also said that they were working on Player owned shops back in 2004, when in a later Q&A they said that the shops have been postponed for years because they were impossible to implement at the time, and are still impossible to implement now. Just because they say they're working on something, doesn't mean it's going to come out.
  24. That's it. Not the best reward considering it lasted it 4 days but it was fun and challenging. Yea, because a glorified scavenger hunt that anyone level 3 can do should totally reward you with a bajillion expees and a new uber-whip.
