My parents were very trusting of me. As long as they knew where I was, they'd let me go out as long as I want. But the brought me up never to do anything stupid-- I never stayed out too late and was always with friends if I ever was out late. The question is: do you trust your son? Legal age is 18. He's an adult then and legally you don't have any control over him. You two should probably work on a compromise so he doesn't move out so early.
  2. I... didn't know you could do that. It's his choice. I don't understand why people care so much.
  3. It's been there for a long time. I even believe it was in the Terms and Conditions when I started playing RS-- they're now just making you choose before making an account. It won't stop people from making an account if they're under 13 years of age, but that's the best they can do to comply with the laws.

This game is made by the people who brought you Monopoly. I seriously doubt there are any spirits involved. There was once a Quija board in this cabin that we rented in Lake Tahoe. Tried it with my cousins. Nothing.
  5. Use the advertising sticky please.
  6. 1. Well no, you can just put your thumb at the top of the scroll and itll scroll automatically.. everyone thinks you have to consistantly scroll to get to your song :/ 2. I believe the creative store has batteries for sale. $40, I think.
  7. It's censored because people abused the website. They were uploading videos with keyloggers, etc.
  8. If adults knew how to eat, then obesity wouldn't be a problem, would it?
  9. If you have excel, you should use that instead of Microsoft Word. Excel is for numbers/calculations while Word is for.. well, word processing. :) In excel, to apply an equation to a cell, type an equal sign and enter the equation. =(4+2)/2 If you need help using excel, then just IM me :)

It is against Jagex TOS to pay Runescape money for any real life services/items.
  11. Seriously? I had no idea what I wanted to do until the end of my 12th grade year. Yes, there are prerequisites for classes, but shouldn't there be a general path everyone takes to finish up high school? Everyone had the same English and History cirriculum, with a different math, foreign language, and science class depending on your interests and skill level in that subject. Plus, there were electives and foreign languages.. I thought it was always better to have a mix of things instead of simply focusing on one subject in high school. Yes. there were prerequesites for classes, but placing such pressure on a student in the 9th grade to decide what they want to do in the future is insane. -_-
  12. Learn some html and css. It'll take some time, but you'll need it if you want to build a decent website.
  13. why would i put an mp3 player in an altoids can. and i might just go with a zen micro, but is the UI user friendly? Why? So you don't have to spend $20-$30 on a case! This is mine. It's only half finished because I don't have all the materials to finish it. I've gotten compliments and "cool"s from people though! The user interface takes a little getting used to; you'll probably be pushing the touchpad and selecting things when you don't want to, but you'll get used to it after using it for a bit. Very easy, but it takes a little adjustment time. :)
  14. You really shouldn't be making up your mind about your career at this time-- you still have 2-3 years, and it's better to have a mix of things than only one type of classes. You need to be well rounded for college; what if you decide one day you don't want to be a science teacher? Then what? Good thing all majors require you to complete GE (general education) courses; they're basically random classes that you can take "for fun" to expand your knowledge. I've taken US History and Asian American studies, and I plan to take Political Science classes some day. Heck, I'm taking German next quarter. You should never be only specialized in one thing, IMO. It gives you a lot of time to experiment and look over different types of majors-- try not to stick with one thing, unless you are absolutely sure you want to do something. You still have 3-4 years to decide-- I would take a variety of classes and then decide later. In college, you don't even have to declare a major until the second year. :) Besides, youll have to take your high school classes again in college.

A: Ha ha ha, say goodbye! Attack, ancient magician! B: That's what you think! I had this trap card here! A: What?! No!!!!! C: I believe in you, Yugi. You're down 100 to 4000, but the power of friendship will guide you to victory. A: That's right! No need to give up now! *Yugi makes a big comeback and wins* That's what I got from the show.
  16. The administrator that installed the lock on the computers put it there for a reason. Besides, school is for learning, not playing Runescape.

The tip.it sig limits are 300x150 pixels with a filesize of 30000 bytes. Anything else is too big and will be removed. :)
  18. Now if it was Mr. and Mrs. Klusterswitzen, then I'd understand, but Smith is such a common last name. I don't think he has a case, and I bet he's going to lose.
  19. There have been religious towns in the US for over 200 years. I can't think of one right now. :? Are they purely one religion, or can anyone move in?
  20. As with most sites (tip.it included), the owners do not have full control over the ads. If you see an inappropriate ad, report it to them. If you see an inappropriate ad on tip.it, please report it to a mod/admin and we'll try to fix it :)
  21. lol. I'll have to try this when I'm bored :)
  22. ...I bet some other religious towns will start popping up then (of other denominations and other religions). *Imagines the drama*
  23. ZM fits in an altoids case also.
  24. Always takes up a lot of my memory..
