Another person who belives the rumor. :roll: I use Norton and have NEVER experienced a slow down of my pc or lag because of it. It updates silently in the background and I dont notice a difference and it scans every file in realtime before opening. Works great. :D I've had Norton on my laptop when I first got it-- it lagged. I uninstalled it, and tada, it went much faster. Same with my friend's computer. :x

Doesn't work for me. :? I could do them when I was in 2nd grade with the Magic Eye books, but I guess it doesn't work on a computer screen very well.

Whether you think America is an imperialist nation or not, I think it's pretty obvious that you can write a persuasive paper either way. I think America is imperialist (we conquered another country, we are establishing our form of government in its place, and we are seeking to control world trade of a raw material: oil), but I could still write a good paper proving that it isn't (we don't make colonies, we don't take independence away from other countries, etc). A good teacher should be able to accept that a student might disagree with the teacher's politics, and grade the paper on the quality of the scholarship and persuasive writing. If it was a good paper, even if the teacher disagreed with it's conclusions, it did not deserve an F. We aren't exactly establishing Iraq as a colony, nor are we taking over the country. We have thrown out Saddam (which we should have done in another way) and have put power into the hands of the people and the congress elected to represent them. Even the most liberal teachers at my school would not fail you because you supported Bush. I doubt many would-- if enough complaints were filed, the teacher could lose their job.

But, what if you don't know who you are? Meaning, how do you know if you actually are yourself? And if you've been acting like someone else for a period of time, how do you know how to be yourself? I'd change Norton for AVG (or another anti-virus that you might like better). Norton is such a resource hog..

Try clearing your cache? That helped me when all my .jpg images weren't loading up on websites.

My advice is the same as Bubsa's. Ditch them. If I knew who my friend liked, I wouldn't go proclaim it to the world, nor would I ignore them. You'll find new friends, don't worry. Try joining a club or two that suit your interests. :)

It doesn't look like there's anything suspicious, but I do see maybe 3 anti-viruses running at the same time (ewido, mcafee, AOL?) One is sufficient..

It'd be hard to analyze each one when there are so many HijackThis logs in one thread, I would imagine. Unless each one was solved individually by one person via PM..
