You must have known that since he had previously asked you for free stuff that this reported death was just a sad attempt to get you to feel sorry for him... and I guess it worked. When you gave him the items he probably thought "SWEET, maybe this will work on someone else!!!" I know that if my mother were on her deathbed, the last thing I would be doing is playing RuneScape. Even if I was 12 at the time.

Yeah, I'd like quests a little better if Jagex actually started making them serious again. Just about every new quest has some kind of pun, lame humor bit, or reference in it that kinda makes you raise an eyebrow... Now that I think of it, that's probably why they haven't continued the plague city series, because it's too serious for the new developers :roll: Gotta cater to all the ten year olds first, after all. -.-

Close to 200k exp today... I think that's enough for a while. I'm getting kinda burned out... I think I'll take tomorrow off, and then tone it down a bit after that. Not that I'm that bored, just that when I nolife that much I kind start feeling a little crappy if you know what I mean.

84 Rc. Halfway to 91 \ Well actually like 75%... 84 is obviously a lot closer to 91 than 1 is from 84 lol. Oh yeah and at this level I get septuple minds. Like I'll ever use that :

1 million armadyl (sp?) godswords. I'd sell like 50 of them, then drop the rest of them in party pete's. I can see it now... prices dropping like mad and everyone in the wild having one of those hitting 60s ect. And I'd have like 5 bil anyway.

Well I was only selling laws, deaths, bloods, and natures. 280 for deaths, 300 for nats, 450 for bloods, and 350 for laws. Sold really fast... defiantly made some profit on those 20k ess.

Wow and I thought selling runes from ZMI would be hard. The opposite is true. I got so many PMs within the first 5 minutes it was... stressful -.- But pretty easy. I can't wait for the GE :pray: That way I won't have to go through the whole meetup fiasco. Gets really frustrating when you have 5 people wanting to meet you for a trade. On the bright side it dosen't look like I'll have to do any abyssal crafting to supplement ZMI at all.

Ha, but that dosen't mean it will be the "big" update. Just wait until Monday/Tuesday when they release spoilers with the update.

Bump. Close to 84 already :

Well 250k was actually kind of an extreme for me. I did like 22k pure essences yesterday, my average when I'm actually on is around 8k. I just had a lot of time on my hands yesterday. As for seeing an amazing drop lying before me; I'm really doubting even if I did train slayer I would see many of them. It's all based on luck, which I seem to have precious little of. Like I said in a previous post; I've killed well over a thousand iron dragons over the dozens of tasks I've been assigned of them, and no drop. Yes I know if I persevered I'd eventually get one; but why stick to a skill whose moneymaking aspect depends heavily on luck when I could spend some time training a skill up to a level that would bring in a steady supply of money? There's no uncertainty that 91 RC will bring with it great wealth. (I mean, 10k ess which takes about a day can make me 2m now, but with 91 it's like 5m :shock:)

250k+ exp gained today. I think I'll call it a night :shock: Wow ZMI crafting is addicting.

That's quite selfish, isn't it? No. The GE is intended as a marketplace, not a warehouse. I'm pretty sure Jagex will make it to where you'll put items that are in your bank up for sale, and if you sell it it will be removed from your bank (and if you withdraw it before it sells it will be taken out of the GE) and the coins will be added, or something like that. In all the months it probably took to put this together I can't see how they could possibly have not thought of this.

Somehow I doubt this will be just another new skill, quest, or what have you. They've never said anything like "very, very big" even for construction. Here are my ideas: Summoning. Yes, it's another skill, but it would have a much larger impact on the game than recent skills. Adding an entire new combat class is certainly a big thing. The horizon thing also makes me think that maybe Jagex is going to allow the player more control over the camera, and that they're going to actually implement the sky, the sun, and possibly a day/night cycle. And to go along with that, maybe they'll add more detail to our character's models - like adding actual eyes :pray:

I guess people hate them simply because they're middlemen. Buyers would much rather purchase something at a bargain from an actual seller, rather than a merchant who obviously will try to charge the highest reasonable (meaning that someone might actually buy it) price. They especially resent them when a merchant comes along on a thread advertising items at a bargain price and says "I'll take all", which the seller obviously finds more convenient than offers from buyers who actually need the items, who usually need an amount smaller than the seller's stock. As for people cheering about the downfall of merchanting; they're fools. They don't realize that this update will make it MUCH easier for merchants to buy out entire stocks of items and sell them for higher prices. Sure they won't be able to take advantage of players who don't know the prices of items, because obviously those players will easily be able to find out, but the profit potential from this new update more than makes up for that loss.

14 so far this year? Good, it's around 1-2 a month, where it should be. Quality > Quantity tbh.

1 million? I make on average 2m a day when I abyss craft. If I found 1m on the ground, I'd probably be happy for about 5 minutes, and then I'd forget about it. I've actually looted 1.2m worth of yew longs from a deathpile once.

Get a better computer. And a better moneymaking method... seriously 1 month for full rune? I could probably manage full rune on a fresh level 3 in maybe a day. :|

Like others have said, they've always been listening to our suggestions. It's just now they're finally starting to implement all of the interface updates we've always wanted, instead of new items, minigames, and quests, so it has become more obvious that they're listening.

I'd be perfectly content with a sell-side only. People willing to sell their items would probably all put them up in the GE, and if anyone is selling what you want it will be available to purchase. Although, it would be nice if sellers could immediately sell their items to willing buyers with a buy-side system. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Jagex does.

It's amazing what you can find just lying around the outer ring of the abyss :) I guess this + the dds I found last week makes up for the... two times I've ever been killed RCing :lol:
