  2. I remember back to when I first tried solving the Rubik's Cube. I obviously didn't have any idea what I was doing, because when I got one side one color I looked at it and said it was 'complete'... but now I know that it wasn't, because the right colors were in the wrong positions, because the corresponding colors on the sides of that face didn't match up. I can solve them now in a about 3 minutes. I'm not very intent on getting any faster; I'm just glad I can finally solve the thing.
  3. Pfft random battles may get annoying at times but they're not that bad, seriously... and in most games once you get a certain ways through there is usually an item to reduce or eliminate random encounters altogether. I think a remake of FFVII would be great. I like the original, but I think that some voice acting (GOOD voice acting, not the rubbish in FFX; though that is one of my favs in the series), more sound effects, and better graphics would make it much better. I think that the older ones (especially VI) are in more need of a remake though. The story in VI is wonderful, but the game itself is a cakewalk and the graphics of course are 2D; if they could make a 3D version of the game that is more challenging I would defiantly buy it.
  4. Please do that in this sticky from now on. Posting a thread just to test your sig adds more spam to the forums.
  5. Like all others I have always had GP in my bank, but I don't suppose that counts. Without a doubt my oldest items are my tinderboxes. Have had them in my bank since RSC and have never thrown them out for bankspace or anything. I have thrown out my hammers, knives, and many other things before, but never my tinderboxes. I've also had my spirit seeds a long time. Actually got one like a week after farming came out; was really disappointed that I couldn't sell it -.- Now I have 8 :)
  6. Post count: 1979 Matches found: 1037 What the... :-s Mmmm. I've made some pretty stupid, egostatical posts in the past. Reading them now makes me cringe. Same here... :uhh:
  7. Banned because I have no idea what the heck that is in your avatar :-s
  8. I stopped eating fast food burgers a long time ago because I discovered it was much tastier if I just made one myself. And it makes me feel much less like crap. I used to get a rock in my gut every time I ate fast food. Besides, what they picture on the commercials and their menus is a far cry from what they actually give you. Last time I ate at taco bell I ordered the tacos supreme because I thought they looked good, but all that I got was crappy beef in a stale taco shell, some lettuce, and some cheese. Where's the tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole, eh? Same deal with the burgers.
  9. Buy some rares and take a nice, long break from the game.
  10. I think since the ditch was implemented most lurers have abandoned it anyway. Besides, most good lurers would bring plenty enough to deal with someone in PKing gear.
  11. The concept of uncut gems is actually very realistic. What are the chances that you are going to find a diamond perfect for a piece of jewelery in nature? Nearly non-existent, because the shapes and sizes of diamonds in nature varies as wildly as any old rock. But the whole concept of cleaning grimy herbs seems a bit silly to me. While we're cleaning things now, let's add an extra option to the cooking of fish: "Gut Raw Shark". Besides, you need a chisel to cut gems, and now with the cut x gem thing, that is more comparable to fletching.
  12. I'd say the best is RFD. I use the barrows gloves everyday and when I forget to bring them somewhere I wonder how I ever got along without them... Second favorite is roving elves for crystal bow... it owns. DT and ancients is cool too, but I hardly ever use ancients due to how expensive it is to use.
  13. Pros: * Probably an extra line of bank space, since I will no longer have to keep a couple unids of each type in my bank; I can have stacks of my cleaned herbs and stacks of my unclean herbs that I don't have the level for. A nice plus. * I will know which herbs are worth picking up before I ever pick them up and ID them, which will save a little time while both training and collecting herbs. * Easier to sell some high-end herbs that I couldn't ID. Cons: * There doesn't seem to be any point to the whole IDing thing anymore. You already know what everything is, and since the clean level is about the same level as making the potions, it's now just an unnecessary extra step whose xp might as well just be tacked onto the making of the potions. * Can't buy multiple stacks of high-end herbs for a constant price anymore. Buying unclean herbs will be essentially the same as buying clean ones. * A lot of people just leave herbs on the ground while training, and I would sometimes pick them up and ID them as a ranarr. No more of that, since the trainer will immediately know that the herb that was just dropped is worth picking up. I really don't get why Jagex is doing this. The anti-scam works fine for thwarting scammers, only complete idiots wouldn't use it.
  14. This is slightly amusing considering the fact that Jagex said that luring AUTOERS was against the rules. If it's against the rules to lure stupid little robots, why can you do it to fish? :anxious:
  15. Wow some people really are idiots. Why are they trying to go to jagex.com in the first place? Customer support is on runescape.com... -.-
  16. That's nothing. I saw a post a while back where someone got banned for impersonating Jagex staff, and their appeal was "But I really AM a J Mod. Don't ban me for being who I am =(" and it was accepted. I've seen several other ridiculous examples like that one; and then I've seen cases where someone got banned for something I'm guessing they probably didn't do, and then their actual attempt at an appeal gets denied.
  17. Ergh It has been proved several times with reference The Empty Lord IS another name for Zamorak and has NO link to Zaros Could you direct me to where it was revealed that Zamorak is the empty lord because we are told that Zaros is the empty lord at the end of the Ghostly Robes mini-quest [/hide] Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Zamorak the one referred to in MP1? When you Eila or who ever she is all about what's happened in the last three quests, isn't Zamorak specifically mentioned. And I think it has to Zamorak mentioned, as I don't think Zaros had been invented by Jagex when Regicide came out. Certainly by MP1, but I don't think they went back to change stuff. You've got to be kidding. Zaros was "Invented" way back in RSC, with the Digsite quest... though not much was known about him at the time. Zaros is indeed referred to as the "Empty Lord" at the end of the Curse of Zaros mini-quest. The last two lines in the conversation with the last ghost is somthing like "You: Just who is this 'Empty Lord'?" "Ghost: I thought you would have guessed by now. He is Zaros."
  18. Yeah I noticed that. It probably won't make that big of a difference as far as their memberships, but if it makes any difference at all it will be worth it to them seeing as how that shouldn't have taken that much effort to do.
  19. That's why you should NEVER buy somthing the day it comes out. If it went from 4m to 2.4m yesterday, chances were that it would drop way further by the next day. I'm going to wait a week at least.
  20. It would stand to reason that pieces of armor from other gods would negate the whole non-attacking effect. Besides, at the moment the only pieces from the Ork and Eyrie race are dropped by their respective big bosses and are therefore extremely expensive.
  21. "Look out, here comes Tz-Tok Jad!" Or mabye... "If you have a question, the answer is probally 'no' or 'learn to research'."
  22. It's 10, if you count being able to equip all equipment connected to range, attack, defense, and strength.

    Misfile

Yeah seriously :| Nothing against Legos; customizing lego minifigures is one of my hobbies; but if you think Legos are pwnage, make another topic about it. This topic is supposed to be about Misfile... Speaking of, I finally gave in and put a link in my sig. I wonder how many hours of peoples' lives I'm going to be responsible for them "losing" O:)
  24. Best moment was when I felled Jad. Once I saw him falling I screamed for joy... seriously, my brother thought I had gone insane. It's a good felling when you complete the hardest thing in the entire game that takes the highest level of skill and concentration. Though, it's one of the only things in the whole game that requires any skill and concentration :anxious:
