^ Esper_Jones I agree with you completely. Im sure the basic concepts are the same. Jagex would never spend time hardcoding anything new,they would just change or add new variables to existing items.

Yep, the only problem i have is the requirements, should be 80 range 40 defence and you need defence to wear the chaps (meh might as well underpower pures a bit)

for me "best" does not mean most expensive, the "best" item i've ever had given to me is either a cream fremennik hat from a good friend or a pair of desert boots when i lost mine :P

In theory yes there should be a dragon plate and kite added at one point, although it isn't likely you dont all have to have a period over it.

I never get arrows "stolen" from me because i dont train where theres other people, if you're that bothered use spots other people dont use, there are actually plenty of places to train range without the fear of arrow "stealing", plus if they steal say 30 of your arrows, and most people (well i do) train with steel/iron its not much of a loss, i understand the principal of it all and if someone took some arrows that were mine i'd ask for them back.

Nope, i dont collect them, usually drop them when i get them to save invent space, but i do have half a meat pie in my bank which has been there since the first week i played rs, another "pointless" item i like is my oak blackjack, it will always be in my bank.

Maybe you should try not to be exactly like the other 43959530 ranger/mage pures, think about it, in about 6 months depending on how much you play you could be 85 range 85 mage, how many other players already have that? loads is the answer. Even the ultimate 94 mage 99 range, probably a load of people anyway. Why bother making a pure if everyone else is pure too?

So basically castle wars with the chance of losing stuff? people wouldnt want to bring much stuff cos they'd just die in a massive melee so they'd ask for it to be out of the wild ie castle wars.
