  1. Well I believe it basically disables your graphics card, which is going to make everything look pretty bad probably. You won't be able to play any advanced games or anything. However, it won't do any permanent damage or anything. If it doesn't work, you can always move the slider back to its original position on the right.

  3. Right, but it is against the rules to name names. So you shouldn't post a screeny of their names..... This issue of two names looking the same was discussed earlier in this thread. The image was removed because of the no naming names rule, but this was incorrect. I discussed it with sunli via pm. So to confirm, you may post an image should you so desire. For clarification on the no naming names rule, see this thread - it regards naming/accusing people of being scammers/keyloggers/bad things. Erm on reconsideration, yes I'm happy to confirm this myself but you should note that I'm not a staff member and to be 100% safe you should wait for official confirmation. I'm sure one will read this sometime soon and can back me up.
  4. Don't drink to excess in the first place? ;)
  5. Don't bother with this guy's opinion - it's lame and useless. The temporarily banned speaks for itself. Got evidence?
  6. Tut tut merc. You need a doctype and a title :P
  7. Vape

    help :(

If it persists, see a doctor.
  8. Well everything's prettymuch been covered here but I just have to post anyway :D I'm unsure if you meant can you still use Firefox and IE at the same time, in which case the answer is most certainly yes. You don't have to worry about Firefox taking over your operating system - Mozilla are the good guys :) You gotta keep IE for windows updates but regardless, it's very difficult to remove it from your Windows operating system - I wouldn't reccomend attempting it. Of course Firefox is good! :D It's teh awesome ^_^ I get very few crashes with Firefox. The occasional crash I've experienced is usually caused by a 3rd party extension - and most people find Firefox to be quite fine without any extensions at all. As far as crashes go, I find windows crashes more often when I'm doing other stuff, not browsing the web. Any Firefox related questions you've got - feel free to ask :) The tech & comptuers board is probably the best place, or just drop me a pm.
  9. Oh I remember the name. You had a massive topic where you were going to take an apprentice but I don't remember anything ever coming from it. People had like Chewy Sandal and Chewy Thong and stuff  And I seem to remembe the actual number of party hats has been rumoured and gossiped to be anything from twelve to a thousand and twelve heh.
  10. Nah I reckon the justified text looks just fine. Very professional.
  11. Check out this edit hehe :) I found it on one of the bad jokes & other deleted nonsense pages - there's some great stuff in there :D
  12. No. Any site that tells you there is, is trying to get you to download some crap.http://www.blockstatus.com/msn/delete-checker That is the one I use and so far nothing bad has happened That's not a block checker ;) It's just an expansion of the function avaliable in Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> "See who has added me to their contact list." You can check this yourself by displaying contacts by email and viewing by online and offline and then just cross-examining the lists. That tool may be useful, but it's not a block checker.
  13. No. Any site that tells you there is, is trying to get you to download some crap.
  14. Over 135k people have already registered for tip.it accounts. ~36k of them were deleted because of inactivity though I believe. You can tell because the most recently registered users have userid's in the 135k range. So yeah, we hit the 100k mark some time ago :)
  15. The folder is named that because Melanie decided to name it that, clearly because she's suspicious of hijackthis, which is quite warranted as the download page doesn't exactly fill you with confidence. Melanie: Before you fix anything with hijackthis, please put it in a proper folder (eg. C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\Hijackthis[Caution: ExecutableFile]) - if you don't do this, then hijackthis won't be able to back stuff up, and thus you won't be able to fix stuff if you screw up.
  16. I trust that your settings in tools -> options -> privacy -> cookies are correct? Allow sites to set cookies - CHECK From the original site only doesn't matter. Unless I have deleted cookies set my that site - UNCHECK Keep cookies until they expire. Make sure that no sites you don't want to be are in the exceptions list. Make sure that you are not clearing private data when you exit Firefox. Try creating a new profile and see if the problem persists. You can always get back to your old profile through the profile manager.
  17. I get logged out occasionally, but not very often - like, no more than once a week. What browser, OS and firewall are you using? Do you have an additional antispyware program, cookie manager or anything?
  18. Hehe. It's like a pyramid scheme for blog traffic.
  19. Yeah. I could understand if you watched the movie with it muted though? :P
  20. "These are not spirit fingers. THESE, are spirit fingers!" That movie had good, um, stuff, in it.
  21. I agree with Lews_Therin, there is no Firefox 5. The most recent public version is 1.5.0.1. As for when Jagex will make sound work in Firefox - I suggest you ask them through customer support ;) Btw, if you get an answer that actually contains some information, I'd be very happy to hear from you.
  22. Make sure you have a screensaver that comes on after a few minutes of idle time, and some minutes later, make your computer automatically go to standby mode. mages shouldn't burn in that quickly, but I could understand it if you left the screen on runescape for days on end.
  23. That, my friend, is for effect. Videos of people being executed are so much more emotional when it takes a while. And I reckon all the various ways you can die after a bombing (eg. US bombings of iraq) would be pretty bad/slow/painful. Choking to death (on smoke or dust) blood loss (cuts and such like from falling buildings/shrapnel/debris,) burning etc. etc. Speaking of being barbaric - what about the torture and abuse of USA detainees? It's war, and it seems everyone is breaking international law...
  24. If somebody dies, they die. America killed thousands of people in iraq and afghanistan - how can you weigh their lives against the lives of people executed by muslim extremists. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Humans have warred since prehistoric times. It's not just muslims - ever heard of the crusades? That was Christians invading other countries. I'm not saying I support what these people do, I'm just saying you have to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. We're all puppets of the media.
