Underage Smoking/Drinking/Doing drugs/etc.
Kill_Thomas9 replied to The Observer's topic in Off-Topic
Ok, first of all, you need to understand what life is. What is the point of life? It can't be to work, work, work, work, reproduce, work, work, work, and die. I don't think there is any point in life if you dont have any fun in it. When y ou say the it will "screw up your life", you cant possibly mean that it will screw up the ability to work and not have any fun, because that doesn't sound like such a bad thing at all. Sure, getting high might mess up your mind, but its FUN. I agree that smoking pot every day and fogetting everything else in the world, isn't good, but smoking once a week to have some fun really isn't that bad. -
Those don't sound like placebo effects. You sound like you were nervous and pumped on adrenaline, but I cant explain the one that made you feel warm inside. Although that may have been the "song" actually working and effecting your brain-wave patterns. And the laughing sounds like it happens for a lot of people. When I used them, I was in a better mood, and if I hadn't been snapped out of listening to it so fast by a phone ringing next to me, my elevated mood could have continued until I started laughing... I cant tell for sure, but it seems like for most people these act as mood elevators. I think the mood elevation, stacked with the fact that it helps you relax/possibly amplify your mood, stacked with a placebo effect may all contribute to the overall effect.

I think that might just be a placibo effect, or you might have just convinced yourself that you looked stupid, which would be funny, and make you laugh. Family Guy does the same thing for me. When I'm in a OK mood, and I watch a Family Guy episode, I laugh at the show, and it puts me in a good mood, and I start cracking up when I think about the episode. I think the same thing might have happened to you.

I dont think Christians hate it any more than anybody else. And what does Dumbledore being gay have to do with christianity? You dont go to hell if you're gay incase you dont know. You just aren't supposed to think about gay things. Just like you're not supposed to lie. Umm well I was referring to the uproar on Harry Potter books in schools. In case you didn't know, some Christians had a huge problem with "magic". Adding a homosexual to that does not improve the situation. Oh, lol. Who the hell gets mad about a book that has magic in it? I dont see Christians getting mad about books with Dragons, since the world was made in 7 days; none of which include days with dragons. What about documentaries with dinosaur fossils that tell us that man didn't walk the earth 7 days after dinosaurs were created?

I dont see why people ask that. Do you guys think people smoke marajuana so they look cool, or because they like the way it looks, or because they like the way it makes their breath smell. It's to get high. When you're high you feel like everything is awesome, and you're all happy and everything, and nothing matters, or can hurt you. Not that I've done it or anything :anxious: :-w :-w Edit: I would like to add that these I-Dosers do not get you high, or make you feel high. They are nothing like the real thing. These just put you into a trace-like state, and can make you feel better.

Wow, I just used A-Bomb, and I was staring at the celing, and it started to get wavy, as if heat waves were moving across it, and then yellow-ish blotches kept starting from the edge of my eyes, kind of like tunnel vision, and going towards the center. Finaly I closed my eyes, and was like half asleep, but aware of what was happening. And just when I was really relaxing the phone rang, and I almost jumped out of my skin. So I paused the song, and looked at the iPod to see that 14 minutes had passed in the blink of an eye.

Don't you think that could have been solely as a result of your meditative state though? I do think that is very likely, but I would like to put emphasis on the fact that I was very tired at the time.

Yah, it happened in Drivers Ed the other day. Someone said something about a paper or something, and I just thought "I saw it over in the corner next to my desk" even though I dont sit in the corner, and about half a second later someone said "I think I saw it over in the corner near my desk". Talk about weird. I've had that happen a few other times too. And it seems to happen more and more often as I get older.

You're point?? They also have scholarships for Germans, Canadians, Australians, and any other ethnicity you can think of.

When I first downloaded the stuff, I started listening to Viagra since it was done first. I was convinced that it wouldn't work, but I was going to try it anyway. I started listening for about a minute when my mom came in. She said something before she came in and the sensation was really weird. It was as if I had been asleep the entire time, and when she came in she woke me up. I would say the cosest thing to what had been happening is daydreaming. Then last night when everybody else in my house was asleep, I decided to try Ecstasy, since it was the shortest. I listened for a minute or two and though I heard a voice, so I got scared and turned it off. It was dead silent for a moment, but then I swore I could hear distant voices. But that may have been due to the fact that I was so tired, or the two combined. So then I tried Heroin, but it sounded the same as Ecstacy, so I turned it off after about 30 seconds. But I realize now that it put me into sort of a meditative state, in which I wasn't fully aware of my surroundings. Then again that might have also just been extreme tiredness. So I decided to try Marijuana. I turned it on, and after about 20 seconds my leg twitched, which was weird because it wasn't a normal twitch, and I dont usualy twitch at all. It was my entire leg. But I kept listening, and it happened again. It happened about 2 more times, and then I got this floating sensation in my legs. And then I moved a little, and it went away. So I paused it, and put a pillow behind my head, and started listening again. And I got the same floating sensation, but not as intense. So I closed my eyes, and it happened again, but I realised that I might just have been falling asleep. So I switched off the iPod, and watched my recorded Futurama episode, but fell asleep within the first 10 minutes. And I had been using the normal iPod earbuds that were around during the first-gen iPod Nano (the ear buds before the ones that are all curvy, which is the current ear buds).

Yeah. A good friend of mine killed himself in March this year. I never cried about it. I felt more sadness that he ended his own life when he did (he was very into drugs and had been going downhill for awhile), but not a particular sadness over his death. Then again, I may still be in denial, the funeral was private and I don't know where he's buried so I maybe it just still isn't real for me. Now that I think about it, I've haven't cried over a death since my pet hamster quite a few years back. :P Death is a natural part of life and it happens all the time, so don't feel bad just because you don't cry over someone. The only reason I cry over a death is if it is someone close to me that I've known for a long time, and I think about all the good times that we had, and the fact that I'll never see them again... But I think its the thought of that combined with the sadness of the fact that they wont be able to experience life again. The other reason would be if their death will make somebody else suffer, and be sad, especially if the person who died meant the world to them, and they'll be miserable now.

Well first of all, this entire thing is complete bullcrap. They think hugging is making people late to class? Open your damned eyes you ignorant idiots! What the hell do people do between class aside from hug? TALK MAYBE???? You think hugging is making people late? What about talking?? I'll tell you right now, with the exception of the occasional person, almost everybody spends way more time talking between class than hugging. If that happened at my school, when told to stop, people would just either just ignore it, or tell the school officials to screw off. Next thing you know it will be against the rules to give high fives because some people dont wash their hands after using the bathroom, and high fives could spread STD's.

Lol. Euro Dollars? If you're going to call Euros "Euro Dollars", you might want to call Dollars "Money Dollars" or something along those lines to keep from confusing people. And I dont see why people see taxes as a bad thing... So what if you tax an extra $20 a year? If the poplation of the US is 301,139,947, thats another $6,022,798,940 going to public services. From just one tax of a mere $20. $6 billion is a lot of money from a tiny tax. If they imposed a tax of something more like $200 a year, thats 60 billion dollars a year that we have going to road improvments, school supply funds, school improvements, war funds, helping third world countries, higher money for hospitals, government worker saleries (and to the people saying that government employees get paid enough, what about teachers? Most go to college for 6+ years, but get paid less than plumbers). Why are people so greedy about their money when it comes to taxes?

Well it helps if you know the story line, and play long enough to get good at the game. If you've only played 2 at a friends house one or two times, you probably dont have a very good idea of how good the game is.

Tip.it Times Presents: Letters to the Editor #8
Kill_Thomas9 replied to MPM's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the new letters! But how come they were both written by the same person? Anyway, they were both worth reading, and if I hadn't seen the names at the bottom of the letters, I wouldn't have known they were written by the same guy. Oh, and what happened to the Friday times? Is it the Sunday times now? -
Thats scary... That would suck if it happened to you.

Oxford Scientists "Discover" Parallel Universes.
Kill_Thomas9 replied to Craiglowery's topic in Off-Topic
I would enjoy hearing your evidence. Did you happen to walk through a wormhole into some other universe? -
This isn't Runescape related, it's ore related. [/sarcasm] Seriously though, they need to put that in bigger print. There are so many boards for Runescape chat, yet some people insist on posting in one of the very few that are not designated for it.. :wall: Lol, no offence, but that was a horrible joke. :P But never the less, you have a good point.
-
Well thats just plain stupid. Not only would it make you a jerk for telling him not to be your friend (although that isn't really your fault), but you would be a jerk for saying it meanly, and you would be a jerk for sending it over msn.
-
Of course you did. And I believe this is the wrong forum, no?
