It could be another test, similar to the quest that came out a while ago that was announced by jagex to be a test to see if the servers could handle summoning. (sorry, long sentence.)

I've never heard of any runescape movies (aside from the recent ones made on tip.it), yet peole say there were a few. I'd appreciate if people could link to a few.

To stop people from abusing it, there would be certain limitations [or whatever they're called]. In a team of 1-3 people, the arrow won't appear. In a team of 4-9 people, the arrow appears when there is 1 person left. In a team of 10-15 people, the arrow appears when there are 2 people left. In a game of 16-29 people, the arrow appears when there are 3 people left. With 30-45 people, it appears when there are 4 people left. With 46-60 people, it appears with 5 people left. With 60-79 people, the arrows appears with 6 people left. In a game with 80-99 people, the arrows appears when there are 7 people left. In a game with 100-125 people, the arrow appears when there are 8 people left. In a game with 126-159 people, the arrow appears when there are 9 people left. In a game with 160-200 players, the arrow appears when there are 10 people left. (That was a lot of typing...) And just as a side note, the arrow doesn't appear for everybody. It only appears for 1 or 2 or the players on the opposing team.

You honestly think they would do that? "OH NO! He is RWTing law runes to that account! AH MEH GAWD! The goat lives!! Glad to see ya! Anyway, that idea might work if JaGEx made running into something official, so that you could only trade the normal ess amounts during a trade at the alter locations. Otherwise RWT's would just go to the alter, and trade 500k laws for 20 essence and call it a fair trade.

It might be, but for summoning to be the "huge" update it has been made out to be, it will have to be much much better that this.

Sorry, but I have to point out a major flaw in your reasoning. The RWT's do impose on our gameplay. The RWT's are the ones who actually do the macroing. I'll inform you how the system works incase you dont know: Lets say someone is interested in Real World Trading. They first go to a known cheating site, which we will call 'site x'. They find a free script on 'site x' that has decent anti-random systems for whatever task they want to their bots to do such as the pre-update essence mine. They open 3 or 4 windows, and run their script for a week. At the end of that week they stop the scripts, and they have 50mil of rune essence sitting in the bank. They sell the esence, and then find a buyer for the mills on site x. So in conclusion, the RWT's are the ones actually doing the macroing. And even in rare cases where the RWT's dont do the actual macroing, they are still just as big of a part of the problem as the people who are doing the actual macroing.

Sorry, but how exactly did you find out? Did you buy some gold? Did a friend buy some gold? or is this just a hunch, a try to make jagex look bad for these awesome updates that have stopped that have stopped both RWTing and autoing? I sat next to a friend in real life and watched him place the order on the website, talk to the operators on live chat, give them his account information... about an hour and 20 minutes later, he logs on with 20 mil in his inventory. Was it a new account, or one he had used for a while?

If we have to raise taxes by a small amount, then so be it. so is air Nothing is going to happen to Air running. If you'd actually ever done it you'd know that crafters trade 2k + 25 noted ess for 25 unnoted ess. As the entire value of this trade is under 3k it doesn't even come close to being affected by the update. But the limit is 3k per 15 minutes, not per trade. Whats the point of doing 12 trades an hour? You're right, sorry my bad. I take it all back. Yep, all rune running is dead. But there is much less of a demand for runes now that you can't pk, stake, or hunt monsters for loot on a team with magic.

Would someone like to re-map the wilderness? Edit: Does the crew just use a copy of the map provided by Jagex?

Umm... Where did it say that? He was referring to new items, not all of them. Yes they only said new items, but they SHOULD remove it for all items or else, come January, we may experience some "market seizings" like qeltar said. Yep. How that post was useful or constructive in any way? Anyway, I believe a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâñ5% rule does work fine for some items, but for others, it is much too strict. The whip for example: The price is accurate, but the price range is too strict. 60k in either direction is not enough to allow prices to change enough. But a h'ween mask, for example, has a perfect price range. I think a flat preset price range is a bad idea. I also think that updating prices once a day is far too few. Two or three times a day would be much better.

When I had one of my teeth pulled the Novocain didn't work. (Of course there were specail circumstances) It was very painful, so I dont know what it feels like to have your mouth numbed when your teeth are being pulled. I imagine it feels the same as it did when I had surgery on my leg while I was awake. You dont feel the pain, but you can feel a tugging sensation. It isn't painful, but it is uncomfortable. It sounds like there is also a grinding feeling, which I can imagine.
