The Stupidest Thing Anyone Has Ever Said To You
Kill_Thomas9 replied to fakeitormakeit's topic in Off-Topic
"I wonder what ice cubes are made of" Ok, it wasn't said to me, it was said by a friend of mine to another friend of mine. (Actually the latter isn't a friend of mine anymore. She started on cigarettes, and smokes now 24/7. Nobody can stand the smell, and even though we tell her otherwise, she insists it isn't as bad for her as pot. We good luck with that lung cancer. Hope it dont kill you too fast.) -
Yay!! Runescape is up to par graphics wise!! Too bad the way you control your character still sucks (You don't control him in real time. You click somewhere, and he walks there).

A child of the 90's, this is what shaped my world.(few pics)

What was nice was that you could RUN windows with just 54mb of ram. Now you need at least 40x that to run vista smoothly. I LOVED angry beavers, but my mom wouldn't let me watch pokemon because she thought it was too violent. To think I started watching shows such SpongeBob for a year or two. I now realise how horrible it was when I compare it to shows like Pinky and the Brain and KENAN AND KEL!! Man I was obsessed with that show. And then for a while I became obsessed with orange soda... Yum... Except my mom wouldn't buy soda, so I had to go to my friend's house and take the 2L soda bottle out of the fridge. Ahh, the good old days... -
Lol @ the dog. Sure it died, but I doubt it would have felt much pain. It woulda been dead before it could hurt too much.

I've heard killing things with a monster summoned gives you a better chance of getting a charm. No conformation on this though. And I've heard word that Hell hounds are decen't. They almost always drop a charm, and take about 30 seconds to kill for people who are under level 90. I HAVE NOT COMFIRMED ANY OF THIS.

I would train combat. Just because you have a combat level above 3 (or 70) doesn't mean you can't be a skiller. High combat has a lot of advantages.

Are you kidding??? I want them all removed!
-
I expected them to do what they SAID they were going to do, and let PLAYERS decide the prices instead of pulling ridiculous numbers out of their derrieres. WILL YOU EVER LISTEN? Look, the skill is new. Therefore people would put INSANE prices. Jagex will most likely remove it in time, and let the players DECIDE then. Let the skill be out for a while first. BUT THEY LIED. It doesn't matter what people "would have" done. JAGEX LIED TO THE PLAYERS. AGAIN.

Senior drivers and people who dont give you personal space or try to imitate you *cough*Bret*cough*

I would say it is much better to go to a pay more for a better university, with higher stardards, which is more comfortable, and you like better, than to go to somewhere totaly the opposite that you can't stand.

I think it's legal. Man + Man = Wrong. Sorry, that's just the way it is. Notice how men and women "fit" together and men and other men dont? Men were not made to, and should not have sex with other men. It isn't right. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have any problem with gays. Just as long as they don't have sex with/make out with other guys. And I wouldn't take blood from a man who had sex with another guy. Even if it would save my life.

Finals Exams - Your experiences/strategies?

in reply to frogmann2: Great advice. I'll be sure to follow a lot of it. And yah, breakfast is very important come test day. I have found the the answer is more often C than the other three (A-23%, B-23%, C-31%, D-23%). But my physics teacher likes to do things the opposite of other teachers, so he'll probably have all the questions average out to 25% each letter. -
Good find! I think they do this on purpose. The lizards look great.

So the item would sell.

TWIRP Report and Economic Analysis: Week of January 14, 2008
Kill_Thomas9 replied to qeltar's topic in General Discussion
I meant that his charts measure how profitable an item is if you already have the cash on hand. I do however see how that would be useful if you want to buy an abyssal whip, and want to know how affordable it is if you are fishing monkfish, or killing aviansie for cash. I take back what I said about you not reading the article. -

[hide=Off topic] Right, this is why I am starting to hate TIF. Can you read my mind? To Yomyth105: Read the article or go back to the RSOF my brotha.[/hide] On topic: I'm really glad you decided to post this here. I loved last week's article, and so far this one has been just as great. May I suggest though, that at the beggining of the article, you put a link to the full version of the article along with a link to the quick guide? Also, seeing as... certain "people" [morons should I call them?] dont seem to be able to read the article, or see the link to the quick guide, it might be adviseable that you put a link to the quick guide in HUGE RED BOLD LETTERS so that people are able to see it. :wall: :wall: :wall: Going back to my post: 1.) It seems to me that income has been calculated by taking the per cent increase/decrease of every item in a specific category and then adding them together. If anything, that measures the change in profitability (Whilst ignoring things such as time constraints and/or cost of investment) in a group (As a whole) and not necessarily a change in income from those who engage in those activities. Take woodcutting for example. Chances are you can (And should be able to) generate a higher income in woodcutting today than you could have a month or so ago. 2.) Erm... What the hell is affordability? If I had to guess, I'd say that affordibility merely measures an item's day-to-day price. That is, the lower the price the more affordable the item whilst the higher the price the less affordable to item. To me, that's a rather simplistic way of measuring affordability because it ignores the price changes in other items in relation to the item in question. For example, let's say you make all your money from herblore. If the price of, say, rares go down while the price of potions go up, then rares would be more affordable. But if the price of rares go up while the price of potions go down, then rares would become more expensive to you. If both the price of potions and rares go down but the price of rares decrease at a higher percentage than that of potions, then rares become more affordable. Conversely, if the price of both potions and rares go down but the price of potions decrease at a higher rate than that of rares, then rares become more expensive as far as you're concerned. The same goes with a rise in the price in both potions and rares. Henceforth why I'm sorta' confused about the whole affordability thing. ...But I'm sure you knew that, as it's-- In your own words-- Pretty 'Duh!' >_> You obviously didn't read the article very carefully. Affordability measures how affordable an item is if you buy it with cash. Not fish. -

For those of you planning on training Summoning right away
Kill_Thomas9 replied to Surfbum0214's topic in Questionnaires
People are acting like this is going to be as easy to train as construction but the same price as cooking... This is a COMBAT skill. What combat skills can you get to 99 that fast in (aside from prayer)? -
I laugh at pc users. Macs are faster, better organised, can't get viruses, have a more advanced operating system, and best of all, they can run any Mac or Pc program natively. Haha. Not to mention our dock owns your little cruddy little bar thing + Quick launch menu.

You want to vote for a guy who won't even pledge to the flag? Wow... Anyway, we're in debt. It sucks. We all know it. No need to make a thread about it.

Santa was at 23-24m in December 06, but after that it fell for a long time. It rose back to about 22.5m in late 07, and then... dropped and dropped and dropped. I'll type this for the second damned time... Short version this time, because I dont want to spend another 20 minutes typing for my browser to quit on me. Santas were about 4mil in Janurary 2006. By mid July they had risen to about 24 mil. Over the next year they dropped back down to about 20 mil. At the end of July 2007 they started rising, and hit a peak of 23mil at the end of August, when the GWD came out. This caused them to drop to 21mil. They started rising again in the middle of September up to about 24mil. They stuck around the 23-24mil zone until November 20 on the mark. That was the Dooms Day for the Duel Arena. Santas (along with all other rares) dropped. Santas dropped to 21mil. But about a 3 days later, they began to recover. Again... They got up to about 23 mil and then the Wilderness removal hits along with drop trade removal and the announcement of unbalanced trade removal. Santas begin to take a huge dive. The day before the removal santas plummet from 17.5 to 14.5. In the next week, santas drop another 2.5mil. Then just 2 days ago, santas rise about 600k. Whoopee. I think you mean to say santas increased 1mil. 13mil for a santa hat. They havn't been that low since mid 2006. I would like to see a graph of the current rares market (mid 2006 to current). Here are 2 graphs made by Duke Freedom in early 2006: [hide=Previous rares market] [/hide] Link the the Times Article if anybody cares.
