It used to be a problem because players who shared were constantly getting "hacked" or claiming to be hacked when actually the person or people they shared with took their items. Nowadays, well I guess they could drop all your items, ouch. I don't really care about it though and letting someone get on your char once or twice is technically sharing but it's so minor.

Well yes but then *everything* used to be harder. This giving way too much information is just another thing Jagex has done to dumb down RS so that kiddies can play it without crying with frustration.

People beg for rares now because in skilling areas there is no risk. The noobs think we should let them borrow since it doesn't cost us anything. Then if you don't wanna lend it to everyone who asks then you are a selfish B :evil: !

POHs should be able to store member items when you are going to f2p.

This might make rares crash. It's gonna be close to impossible to wear phats when everywhere you go, people annoy you by asking to borrow it. *rolls eyes* Especially in f2p.

I already have more than that. Really I don't bother much with items, current I am f2p while taking a break I do mining mostly. P2p I still do fishing. So um - nothing.

Yeah i read about this bug from meili's website. Here's the article: http://www.anzwers.org/free/jagex/knives.html quite a few pics of it too. ;) It was fun. There was also the beer glitch where if you drank beer your str would stack (beer gives you higher str) so people got 99 str off the free beers in barb village. Vintage wear, I don't know but my fave was full rune. Back then that was worth a lot comparatively speaking and if you got a full rune kill it was a big deal. That was great.

Yes. There is no way I am playing full screen I have limited time online (hey, high levels *do* have a life) so I always combine chat, dl'ing and RS. I would *never* do just RS. I used to do that when pking was good, years and years ago in RSC but now it's mostly skilling and I refuse to do nothing but stare at my screen while my char is fishing.

Yep. Back then when I got 100+ combat I was super high level. Now 130 is nothing much. It used to be when I was in any (skilling) area I was always the highest level there now every single place in RS always has a level 130+ or at least 125+.

The bad thing is that hunter is dead now. I was training range through slayer anyway (slowly) though I did chin for one level. For ranged - not good not bad, most people can't use chins extensively anyway because of the cost. For hunter - bad, no more good moneymaker. :(

*sigh* I don't know anymore. I trained my stats the old way, before Rs2 so everything nowadays seems very, very easy. Stupidly easy sometimes. Not like before when I got 99 it was a huge achievement. Now its like ...uh yeah not a big deal anymore. In general there is nothing "wrong" with buying skills, I do it myself but I have to say that super-fast exp just makes things too easy.

*sigh* I am high combat because I like combat. It has nothing to do with skill total. I don't know why most players seem to have a problem with this very simple idea. ROFLMAO!

I don't feel safe playing RS. Period. There are so many different way people can try to get your account, it's not even funny. :(

I'm with you Smi Mandos. I certainly don't get offered free stuff left and right. Yeah sure, if I needed something before the trade restrictions, I could generally borrow it...from my *friends*. That isn't because I'm a girl its because, you know, I have friends I've known for 5+ years. I've never gotten stuff from random players. It probably is easier to make friends when you are female, though. People are generally nice to girls from what I know. I've never had a guy char though.

I use IE, Opera and Firefox, they all work well. I don't know what you mean by Opera being slow, it is the fastest browser for me and I love the speed dial.

I know what you mean. Jagex has gone all corporate because nowadays its a multimillion dollar business. It's just not like before when Andrew was running it out of his garage. They have hundreds of employees now so they have to be more responsible so they are really careful not to mess up. So when they make decisions it's really geared towards making more money.

Back in RS1 we used to have several different exclusive invite-only forums for various types of people. Most high level clans also have very strict level requirements. :)

:thumbsup: I play Rs with my friend Chad (Wha Da Best/Kikyurass/ P O K E Y, etc). We started doing thing together in Rs in 2001 and up to now we still chat and play. \ On my website I have a pic of him wearing my white party hat during the Christmas day when crackers were dropped.

I remember everything, pretty much. Like, back in Feb 2002 when members was first released I remember even how I trained my crafting levels up to get the reqs for the quest to get the drag long (killing cows for the hides ftw!). That was...what? 5 + years ago and I still remember it. What I don't remember are quest details and most especially place and npcs names, if I don't go there regularly.
