The problem is that it would make members chars weaker in f2p than f2p chars if it is purely p2p yet affects combat. I hope Jagex has taken this into consideration. I agree, Jagex won't want to punish ex-members. Qeltar's solution is possible, but i see lots of glitches and confusion. Completely agree. summoning would definitely disadvantage members in f2p. I would very much like summoning to be part f2p even though im a member. Hopefully they have already taken this into account. I'll laugh a lot if they haven't after taking one whole year to make this skill. You just never know with Jagex, they always have glitches and obvious oversights (ge with no bank pin, pohs with no bank pin) yet they say they test before they update. :-w

They could also make one's combat level appear using the old formula on F2P (though that would be rather confusing to some.) I think its unlikely but yes that would fix the problem. This is all just speculation but I did post my concerns in the RSOF, hopefully they already thought of it themselves so summoning won't ruin f2p combat. I'd hate to see new "pures" in wild.

Take for example, two level 70s, one is members with summoning and the other is f2p. the f2p would have higher att str def hp and prayer, while the member level 70 would be stuck with useless summoning levels. The members guy would have his char ruined for player vs player in f2p, especially when the new single combat area is introduced. Pkers normally like to pk in both f2p and members. F2p is also good for BH since you spend a lot less. :P

I still have no idea what on earth a so-called pure is on Rs2. Apparently all pkers are now called pures if they are low-mid level. *rolls eyes* They all call themselves pures even if they have magic and prayer.

Oh? Might it be time for me to buy if they go way down mmm... I just hope its not a bunch of people having a bank sale on rares so they can sell for rl $$ before the trade update in Jan.

Nargh? I was just about to post that it would be better for pkers to keep combat levels low due to wildy restrictions but then I realized. OMG there is no wildy. :( :? Summoning should be f2p and p2p, otherwise members' combat level will be hugely inconvenient on f2p when it come to player vs player, especially when the new single pk area is introduced. Members will have "excess" or "useless" combat levels in f2p which is not good for pking. For example: Level 70 with no summoning Level 70 with extra levels from summoning - the "pure" (no summon) combat level will have the advantage over the member player in f2p since he will have higher str att def hp prayer (all used in f2p). The rise of new pures ftw?

Corral Poster/Vendetta Poster These involves at least two but probably more posters who have a sworn internet blood feud with each other. The poster feels that he has been wronged or dishonored and seeks vengeance by punishing the culprits or their friends on every single post the enemy makes. He stalks his foe everywhere he posts and stirs up as much trouble as he can but only towards that specific poster/s he is feuding with.

You forgot the trash talking after a pk. To replace that I suggest that after a player kills a revenant, the said npc will appear in edge bank and say stuff like "you are a sad pker noob, "congratz on killing me when I had no food" or "I am going to get on my high level main now and kill you everytime you set foot in wild." :shame:

Some people just don't know how to share an area. I mean for example at bloodvelds, there are two disctinct areas, the outer and the inner rooms. I am in the outer room and a guy comes in and takes the spawn near me. Ok, I just go to the inner room. What does he do? He goes to the inner area, too and so on... :roll: These are the types of players that are annoying. Sometimes people also go in the *center* area in between the two rooms so omg you can't go on either because someone is being newb. Yeah I know he doesn't *have* to consider other people's training but it so easy to just chose a place that doesn't annoy other people. It's a big area, who do people have to take the same spawn you are trianing on? There are even those who steal your monster when you eat. You know, like you have it half killed then when you eat, you aren't attacking it for that one second and another guy there attacks it. :wall:

A person can post about the forums rules a little bit, but if all their posts are like that, well that just screams "wannabe mod" to everyone.

According the various other threads around, this price floor is not just a limitation on how low people can sell their items.... Jagex is actually buying up items on the Grand Exchange themself - and they broke their promise that the Grand Exchange would be purely player based by doing so. Oh my! It does seem rather unworkable to have a price floor, surely that would just make people have huge stockpiles of unsellable stuff. The Jagex is buying theory could be right but who knows, we can't prove it unless they admit it.

I have four of those 99s! Two of them I got way back in Rs1 which was like 10x harder than it is today. On the other hand, I can't complain about that as when I got the 99s I also got mad respect. :mrgreen: If I got it today, I wouldn't get 1/10th of the fun I had back then. Like how? Fletch is cheap and 100% automated. 1 click does your entire inventory. Herblore and construction are madly expensive. Con does not have "make all" either.
