They might be afraid that this would worsen the problem because people would use fake cc's or stolen cc's. Also, it seems they just don't like RWT and feel it would lead to more people quitting or playing less since there is no reason to do skills like mining when you can just buy gp then buy coal...

Oh come on, don't give them ideas! LOL I guess they are smart enough to think of ways around the update by themselves though. It makes me queasy to think they might remove pk altogether if even BH fails to stop RWT.

I just don't see RWT'ers going to that much trouble. It is possible though for regular players. For example, a clan wants to give a set of guthans to someone in their clan. They can try going to an empty server in a big group to transfer it through BH. There is some risk but since they are a clan, they can probably do it.

Not sure what the exact effect will be. A lot of rich players did quit so that will have some effect. Rares have been taken out of circulation as well since the players who quit will not be trading theirs either forever or for some time. Also, those who quit have put their money in rares thinking these will go up in time so when they get back in Rs in a year they will still have assets.

Is that real? quick find code please? I wish they would fix it, might have a few friends who quit come back if they do.

RWT sites are already offering to put gold on your account by using it to get the gp. I don't know if it will be successful but they are already moving forward to what they think the new RWT will be.

Interesting. I hadn't thought the f2p updates might indicate that they will have a share in summoning though. It's possible but I think highly unlikely. There is the new Christmas even to look forward to (that is f2p and p2p) so that's at least one other thing.

Not sure about that. If so many people quit, Jagex would have to fire their employees because they wouldn't be able to support them anymore and if they have debts then they might go bankrupt. Smaller communities are of course more tight knit and better in most ways but I don't see Rs reverting to pre-Rs2 days.

I wish other people who also know nothing about pking would likewise refrain from hysterically ranting "goobye to all pkers, you were the worst of Rs anyway." They thought up Lootshare and never realized it wouldn't work. My confidence in Jagex has been greatly shaken by the latest updates. Yes, I have seen similar ideas. Let us hope Jagex will allow us to share drops this way.

I haven't lost any items or wealth. Those can easily be replaced anyway. The worst thing is losing my friends. Many have quit. I thought they would quit because of the wildy update but it seems they mostly quit because of the trade changes.

Well...possibly ess could be changed back but it is not likely since non-real world traders can still auto it, especially if prices rise. I would like it if they do change it back but I doubt it will happen.

Hmmm yes I expect there will be some price changes. Bounty Hunter will help but most pkers won't be playing in multi (BH is multi) because it requires a large team.

Welllll the f2p updates looked kinda good at first. I tried to play BH with my f2p friend but we couldn't get into the same level cave and mine had an empty waiting room. I switched but all f2p servers were empty, too! Apparently no one there wants to play on the 100+ area. :roll:
