  1. I used to be really nice in RS and even help out people do entire quests and things like that. That was when RS was much smaller. After I got high level (in 2002) that became impossible because after I am nice to them, lower levels inevitably ask for free items. Sometimes even higher levels pretend they got hacked and ask for stuff. Since I don't really care about items, I used to give away a lot of free stuff. No I am sick of the whole thing so I never bother to help people out as I feel I have done more than enough during my years of playing RS.
  2. I've never played purely to get gp or items. I level whichever stats I like, regardless of whether they are moneymakers or not. Nowadays I just chat with people while wc'ing/fm'ing so it's all good fun... until autoers ruin it.
  3. The proof is in my web site although I started earlier than that. I just didn't know how to take screenshots before.
  4. It's just a humorous website. I do not own it but the writer was just joking, I'm sure. I only posted it to give people an idea of what the black hole was like, you can see the pics there and there is the story of how he was banned.
  5. Not even remotely, we finally thought Jagex had implemented the use of synergy skills.. That is exactly what Sue told me. I don't believe I knew about that at all. Or maybe someone told me but I ignored it in favor of the more interesting (to me, anyway) pking aspects of 2 hitting people with god staffs. Too bad I had low range myself. It was fixed by the time I logged in the next day so I never got to see it in action. That is fast for Jagex. ;) You know how slow they can be sometimes. Mourners bug was there for months? People already got 99 ranged and hp by the time they fixed it. Mourners were fixed a long long time after we alll knew about them. I assume this was because Jagex didn't really consider it a bug (they might have *meant* it to be that way) but only changed it because some players complained afterwards.
  6. If you want instances, I suggest you to play WoW. Runescape is and should stay different then other games, diversity is good. I think you missed the point there. Jagex proposed the instanced dungeons before RS2. That means before Guildwars, WOW, etc. RS would have been ahead of WOW, if they had bothered to deliver the big updates instead of 100 small ones. WOW would have been the one similar to RS, not the other way around, which it would be now if they made instanced dungeons. That's the whole point!
  7. Not exactly. They didn't know if it was meant to be range-based along with magic. Why shouldn't it be? Anyway, Jagex knew about it pretty quickly and fixed it right away. Only the developers define what bug abuse is. For example, I personally would classify mourners as bug abuse but Jagex never fixed it so probably they meant for it to be that way.
  8. RS should be rated for adults only. :P There are many bad people around and especially for girls there is repulsive stuff like guys asking to *cough nvm its censored but you know what I mean*. The game itself is for teens but the community makes it for adults only.
  9. Yes, unless the person you asked is a friend. :shame: A moment of thought is all it needs to realize people don't want to be bothered by 100000000 people asking for emotes. \
  10. I enjoy gathering my own materials and at level 121, with a no-too-bad bank, I don't consider myself low level or poor. Pointless? What is the point of power leveling by buying raws? You buy ores, for what? Smithing? It's cheaper to buy armor than to get a the smithing level for making it yourself.
  11. I never really invested in any items but I did "invest" sort of, by spending a lot of time and resources in skills which I thought would pay off hugely. Sadly, herblore didn't turn out that great. :wall: Nvm though I still like it.
  12. I know exactly what you mean. When I go somewhere for combat-type stuff I get hugely bothered for hours by people who have nothing better to do because I like to use full rune (plate, legs, kite, large & boots). I like the look and I don't like mismatched stuff. This doesn't happen to me at rockcrabs though because I don't train anymore.
  13. Whoa I am a noob! 61 runecrafting and I never knew bloods were level 77 to make even though you can't really make them.
  14. I have also encountered people like that. As a rule I normally do not report players for flaming but I make an exception for extreme racist remarks. I can't post pics because Tip It had a no naming rule but such people are sad irl.
  15. I think they are hugely overpriced. On the other hand, they are a good investment. I think adx when he quit invested all his stuff in rares and now they are worth...a lot.
  16. Short and gets to the point right away. Great post. For example, they have promised clan support for a long, long time (years). Where are the instanced dungeon/s they promised before RS2 (again, years ago)? Why can't they have major quality updates instead of a large number of minor ones, like quests that take 10 mins to do with a reward of 3000 gp? They don't have actual events in RS, not even one, instead they have hundreds of quests.
  17. Same as what happened when God Staffs were first brought out.. You could cnotinually cast charge at no rune expense.. Only shame was i was already 99 magic and Me n Sue were having too much fun playing with the staffs and range pots O:) Until of course Alq and Snake realised what was going on hahaha.. T'was a fun day til i realised p2p pking had just been ruined. Was that the same time you realized damage was ranged-based? Must have been fun for Sue and especially Snake Slava.
  18. Oh I remember that stuff. Typical of Angel really. That's also why I never posted much, just lurked. ;) I like Livin's reply lol. He is like a grumpy old man. :-w I can't seem to navigate th e link properly, how do I view threads? P.S. Check out http://www.geocities.com/gladiatorzpics3/
  19. Willows because I know several good spots for them that are not crowded. Yews always have a tone of autoers/noobs so I don't like cutting yews.
  20. Surely there are better places to auto, why waste time on metal drags? I guess it *could* be an autoer but that is highly unlikely, IMHO. I just don't see the point of it unless someone made a program purely for fun. Maybe! Was that person moving back and forth from bank in an unvarying pattern?
  21. I always do stupid things when I am unexpectedly dying, too. I can never figure out in time what the smart thing to do is. Bad luck!
  22. Jagex simply wants more people to be able to use their content. Updates are mostly aimed at lower level people so that content isn't "wasted" by having only 0.01% of players (level 120s) using them.
  23. http://www.geocities.com/runescapegrudge/ Not my web site, ok? This is an old pic of the black hole which was originally used as punishment or perm ban of players. People got so curious about it that they made chars just to abuse rules and get banned so they could see the black hole so Jagex made the black hole experience so that people could see it without getting into a lot of trouble. I used it back in the day for taking stat pics, it was good for screenies.
  24. I remember that! Tip It just gradually became all about RS but in the beginning they had content for AC. I really miss the old forums.
  25. Oh I am fine and of course I have also quit RS. It's pretty boring but Tip It is still quite fun to read so I drop by here and post a lot.
