  1. To me a Runescape veteran is one who has gone through all or at least most of the "upheavals" in the game. I refer to major changes, such as the introduction of the wilderness, including magic in combat level, having more than 1 server, p2p, rs2, etc.
  2. Def is good but only up to the point that you can wear the best items. At high levels, def is useless. I'd rather have the str and att levels. P.S. I have 99 def.
  3. It doesn't help me when I am trying to cut yews on free or gather flax, bones, etc. Macroes are artificially lowering prices which harms those players such as myself who are legit. I don't see "making things so easy and cheap to buy" as good. All this simply makes skills unprofitable and ultimately looked down on for being what they are now - cheap and easy.
  4. Moron. I dunno why you're getting at him.. I think he's probably right! If Jagex decided they were going to close Rsc they'd have to transfer the characters over to Rs2 or at least give the option bearing in mind all current Rsc players are paying customers.. What i imagine might happen however, is a mass ban beforehand  then maybe about 4 or 5 characters would make it to Rs2  LOL I wish they would let me keep my bank if that happened. I'd say they wouldn't though. People who stayed on RSc knew from the very start that the two games are unconnected so I just don't see Jagex tranferring stats over.
  5. Use a bucket on the lowest level of the tower to fill it with slime. Grind bones on the bone grinder (bring a pot for storing ground bones). The go down and click ont he ectofunctus (sp?). The disciple guy will then give you tokens.
  6. Str! It lets you hit high numbers for ko'ing opponents. Let me give an example, if you had 99 attack but level 1 str you would hit a lot of low level hits like 1s or 2s. 1 1 1 1 1 1 12 2 2 1 1 - etc... what would be the point? On the other hand, with 99 str and 1 att, you can hit high numbers and not get too bored. Unfortunately weapons have a minimum attack level to wield. Ideally for pvp just get the appropriate attack level for whatever weapon you will wield (40 for f2p) then go for str all the way.
  7. I am sick of people thinking we pmods can refer them to Jagex for the possition... READ THE FAQ! PMODS CANNOT RECOMMEND ANYONE! MAKE ME READ THE FAQ, YOU PMOD ALL CAPS SCREAMER! :P Make me stop thinking what you don't want me to think while you are at it, why don't you? You are obviously the boss of me. How long have you actually been a pmod? Are you sure you know how they have been recruited since the pmod system started? FAQ is fairly recent. Say what you like now, though. I won't even read your hysterical posts anymore.
  8. Sometimes it's fun to pretend to be a newb but I don't act like a jerk when I'm not on my main. I just play the newb-life like gathering cabbage, spazzing over goblin mail, etc.
  9. You mean mourners. I meant digsite.
  10. Seems that jagex has distanced itself from the community that it created, perhaps jagex should raise wages so there can be more jmods :P Well that is what I meant when I said I would prefer Jmods to Pmods. On the other hand, Jmods probably have less knowledge of the game than actual players. I remember one time a friend took a screenshot of a Jmod asking how to get to Ardy. :( The ones that I met though normally answer customer service questions properly, like billing questions and bug reports. Basically, pmods know more about the game but jmods know more about the behind-the-scenes business and programming things.
  11. Maniac trained there so much that it was way too noticeable, that's why people single him out. he got impossibly high exp which was reflected in the hiscores.
  12. No one said anything about the old days except you. In fact, I believe that the old days had more arrow stealers...that just goes to show what *you* know, doesn't it? LOL? Do you even read or just react on your own preconceived ideas? I never said I couldn't kill what I train on in 1 minute. I said that it lessens training time to run back and forth every minute. Arrows disappear after 3 mins so if no arrow-picking noobs are there I only have to run around once every 3 minutes. If people are picking up what they didn't drop themselves then I have to run around a lot more. That lessens training time because instead of ranging I have to run around grabbing arrows before noobs loot them.
  13. Underground farm often has no one there but me!
  14. It would be good if there were no more yew autoers. The yews should belong to myself and all other legit people. :D It seems that f2p is still full of autoers though.
  15. I don't like people looting my mith+ arrows when I am training. That is why I always try to get an empty server. Yeah, it's not stealing but it's rude. Why do I have to rush back and forth from where I am ranging after every kill just so noobs won't grab my arrows? It significantly lessens training time. Courtesy is dead in Runescape. I normally return whatever people drop if they die (even very expensive stuff) but if arrow noobs die, I'll laugh in their faces instead of giving stuff back. It's not a crime to "steal" people's arrows but RS would be much better if people actually bothered to be polite. I better not see the people who posted here (those who say arrow stealing is good) ever complain about how bad the community is. You are part of the problem.
  16. I only see small pics, how do I make it bigger?
  17. Your from england, why butcher your own language?. Lol. They are fine mostly, just some have big heads and presume too much that they know more than non-pmods. I would prefer seeing Jagex mods though...
  18. I wouldn't know about that I don't go on cheating sites. How do you know he had no pmod interaction? Pmods read the forums, he might have impressed one of them enough to get a recommendation. There are probably other factors such as number of black marks, reports, etc but I am fairly certain pmods are also chosen through recommendations. ;) Jagex doesn't even read the customer support emails even for important things like ban appeals, do you *really* think they go over all the in game "report abuse" messages to find those who report a lot? They *have* to go by player recommendations, no other system makes the least bit of sense. Jagex people are way too busy to sort through the millions of Rs accounts on their own.
  19. What do you all mean by this? I thought Jagex did recruit p mods by referrals from other pmods? No other way even makes sense. I'd like to know how you think Jagex chooses their p mods.
  20. Ah people who don't even have an 80 skill have no room to talk. Theoretically, yes some skills are easier than others but they are the extremely boring ones. The people who do have the skills capes don't think it's not admirable while those who have none think it's easy because they haven't done it themselves.
  21. I managed to clear exactly one bank space. Yay! Now I can keep a pink skirt in my bank.
  22. Ah one of my friends who is a somewhat notorious rulebreaker claims that he gets more randoms than normal people. I was skeptical but when we trained together side by side, he got 3x more randoms than me. He says Jagex tweaked his char so that it would get more randoms because of his many black marks. Hmmm I am not quite convinced but he really *does* get a lot more randoms than me all the time.
  23. I use tipitchat rarely when no one is even talking to me on RS. I don't even know anyone there except Fook a ji. Spam is a problem but I expected it anyway.
  24. RC is the hardest followed by herblore, especially as I don't buy herbs 99% of the time.
  25. I made my chars when there were plenty of good names not yet taken. I even helped a friend think up of cool names. Would you believe "Evil magic" was still available after p2p already came out?
