  1. I can't check because my old stuff is in my RS1 bank (I transferred when Rs2 came out) but it is probably the pumpkin from when they were first dropped. On Rs2, hmmm I believe the first thing I did on RS2 was to pk so it is probably the blood runes from 2003, from a few days after Rs2 came out.
  2. Poor guy, all he wants to know is where the nat altar is but people are so mean. :shame:
  3. Oh wow! I didn't know there was such a rule. Thank you for the kind offer but I can't let you take that kind of risk. :boohoo:
  4. Thank you, this is a very interesting post and I will keep that in mind should I ever have the chance to buy d axe. I still have quite a few levels wc levels to go until I am satisfied and it might be worth it someday when I get p2p again.
  5. Well on the other locked thread I said: Thehate replied: Beer is not to be examined, it is to be drunk! Look at that beer *waves beer at thehate*- you want to drink it, not examine it.
  6. Thanks. I don't really have hugely expensive stuff apart from the rares. The barrows stuff I got by actually doing barrows myself. The nats were runecrafted by me, I mined the ores, mixed the pots, smithed the arrowheads, flecthed the arrows - well you get the idea. It was fun. ;) Selling a rare would have been easier and faster but getting it all myself is very, very satisfying. Hmmm not sure about that, what 99 skill would buy back a phat in a few days?
  7. Congratz. I'm still 115 on Rs1 but str and att were maxed before Rs2 came out, which is good enough for me.
  8. I am very glad most people do agree! I'm not the author of this thread but this si very good news for me. Somehow I just thought I was alone in this kind of thinking.
  9. Well, I am not really motivated since I've already had the whole set already. If I got white phat I'd just be annoyed everytime I used it because it would remind me of the scam. I just wear the blue because it has good memories. :) I may get a complete mask set though...one of these days. I can't now because I am f2p for a few months and I don't have the available bank space if I did buy more rares that I don't have in bank. I can't really take any credit for being smart or anything like that. Way back when the crackers were dropped I was thrilled at the phats because at that time we had no cool hats. I'm a girl and I like to dress up my char. I only kept them for the looks, I had no idea they would ever be worth more than 50k.
  10. It's a pic of the actual black hole, not the black hole experience. The original one was where Jagex put the banned chars.
  11. I am that rarest of players, one who neither buys nor sells unless absolutely necessary. I get my own materials and I use them myself. Call me a user. ;)
  12. I don't even understand merchants now, why do they type in the same thing over and over that people can't understand without replying to the people talking to them? "Buy 500 ess" I asked if he wanted to buy ess or if he was looking for ess buyers but he never replied so I still have no idea what these noobs mean when they say "buy."
  13. I am 115 in RS1. I was 115 way back when Rs2 came out, that was in 2004. I have never, ever been 115 in RS2 because when it was launched Jagex changed the combat formula and I became level 121. :P In Rs1 I kept my combat fairly low for my stats to have an advantage in pking. I was the strongest level 115. :P
  14. The wild is a kids cartoon. :shame: At least people don't call it the "wilder" or "nessy." I say old chap would you care for a cup of tea? 1 LOVe h4xoREr 5PEeK My5eLf Really? So when a person person makes a joke, what do you do? Type in ha ha ha?
  15. 99 str - 1 OwN JOo! 99 att - M31L1 P33KaY2 J00 99 hp - 98 def - m3h d3f n008 90 theiving - 1 p1ck j00r P0K3T2 Just kidding but those are my real top 5.
  16. You said it was in wildy - if you don't pk and just mine rune/ rc/ green drag/whatever then high def is what you need since you only want to not die. Pking requires high str. :P  No ifs no buts. You need those high hits to ko or they can just run away. High attack and def but not high str - you don't get hit, you hit few 0s but you don't hit high so the opponent can run away easily since you can't hit him faster than he can eat. Duelling is kinda different since you don't need to ko your opponent. If you just outlast your opponent and use up all his food without using up your own food then you win. In that case def helps. Pkers use "def noob" as an insult because those who train high def are, by definition, not pkers. That's all, you don't have to get mad if you aren't a pker anyway.
  17. That was the npcs at the Shilo gate, right? I knew about that Shilo stuff but I never trained there, I got all my levels in wildy except for 1-30. There's just no excitement in non-wild. Actually, I'm still low range for my level. :notalk: I prefer to get up close and bash other chars in the head. :P It only looks cool in Rs2, RS1 range was like throwing green jello at someone but bow looked good...esp the side view. Axe is scary but r2h is dumb-looking.
  18. My goal is to try to get 99 def.
  19. First 1k, I have absolutely no idea whatsoever. That was 6 years ago, I just can't remember. 100k - hmmm fishing and mining, they were *the* money making skills way back then. 1 mil - after I had a good fishing level and bought a rune set I trained non-stop and from picking up the runes and gem drops from ice warriors I made my first 1 mil. I also received gifts from friends that totaled over 1 mil. I never asked for anything though, it was just difficult to get rune stuff because Bluerose13x was the only one who could make the required items at the time so players who could get high-level rune stuff would help their friends who were not as well connected.
  20. Stats: Bank: Please rate. Long, sad story about my bank, no need to read: Scammed of white phat. :wall: I thought it would be ok to lend it to a player I've known since 2001. I had a complete phat set but I split it between RS1 and RS2. Sad, but Jagex never said they would make RS1 member-only when they gave us the option to transfer bank so now I can't even use my stuff since I am f2p. All my RS1 stuff is actually on my bank there except for half the rares which I kept on RS2. Everything else are things which I got from RS2, mostly while I was in RSD. :P I love you guys and all my other non-clan friends. Thanks for all the help and advice you gave this RS1 noob. =D> Edit with additional info: All rares are from the actual times they were dropped, I forgot to say that. Phats - I was there and picked up the crackers. I picked up those santas and masks, there are more on my RS1 account but I can't get on it because it's p2p only. I did buy a few holiday item drops then but they were less than 10k since I bought them on the day of the drop or slightly after. I do remember buying one phat when it was 100k but I gave that away. I posted in a rush so I didn't explain much. Basically when RS2 came out, I transferred my whole bank to RS1. The way it worked was, you were able to transfer the babk and ONLY the bank to RS1 one time. So I kept half of the rares in my inventory. The things I was wearing and the items I held in my inventory were kept on RS2 while everything else was transferred to RS1. That wasn't the smartest thing to do, in retrospect. :boohoo: However, I am proud that I was able to build up the rest of my bank using my skills. :) I have never sold a rare. The things in the bank I got from playing RS and doing skills like, mining, herblaw, woodcut, runecrafting, etc. It was actually nice. Having an empty bank helped motivate me. It really put the fun back into playing.
  21. Whoa first time I have ever seen a vertical bank organization. Strange but I never thought of doing that. 8/10 for originality.
  22. Great stuff, I like an organized bank. 8/10 because you are clearly doing your skills in an organized manner. I love the herlaw stuff. :)
  23. Lol your bank... it kills me to even look at it. How on earth can you find anything??? Nice pumpkin and 13 frog tokens. 6/10
  24. I don't think so. I have tele'd out and returned but I never got good items off the chest. Besides, it doesn't make sense to give more rewards to the weaker players who can't do maze in one try.
