u couldnt "dupe" items, just send a command to the server saying u actually have that item wen u dont, and also u couldnt dupe stackable items ie runes, certs ect hence y people didnt have 1000000000000billions steel bar certs.. tho you could also tell the server u casted a spell on something when infact you had no runes and no npc to cast the spell on tho jagex soon seen that since about 200 people got 99 mage in 2 days lol. not that i would know about it mind.. lol There were several duping incidents. I am pretty sure what you described isn't a "dupe" since the items were not technically duplicated. ;) What I was referring to was pretty early on though... who really knows except the people involved. I have *seen* impossible amounts of items when people wanted to show off their duped stuff in RS trades (people I barely knew or knew only from their reputation) so I personally know of at least 2 duping incidents from years and years ago but I only know rumors of how/when/who of these duping stuff.

I prefer to use Opera for browsing. It all boils down to the interface - I like it better than Firefox, IE or Netscape, all of which I have tried. I also use Opera for chat since I can use it to to chat, play browser games and email all in one program. It's faster for browsing because I can direct it with one click to dislay cached images only since I often spend a lot of time on a single website reading forums and such.

For myself and others who had their partyhats from the beginning (the day they were dropped or shortly after), it was simply for the looks. At the time it had no real value as almost everyone had multiple party hats since they were dropped free for anyone to take. It is entirely possible that players who no longer regularly play may still keep their phats for the looks. I know of at least one player who also gave a phat to his child who just wanted it for the looks, as the child had no idea what phats cost.

The gift that my friend gave me and my bunny ears. ;) I wear it all the time even though I do get pestered by people who want to buy it. It seems many players don't know it is untradeable.

I would throw out the pk triangle or in fact the whole noob friendly RS2 combat system. No eating while in combat!

Never. My RS name is perfect and exactly what I wanted. Then again when I played there were fewer members so I got my name of choice.

I used to but not anymore. It's useless and impossible. RS2 was launched and nothing can change that.

I don't get why people don't believe me when I say that I prefer RS1 graphics. You could never mistake a read bead for a santa on RS1. :P Usability of graphics and interface were better, too. :twisted:

I once got banned when somone cracked Tip It account somehow and posted some things which I never saw since the thread was deleted. :3> I like the idea of Jagex doing a mass unbanning for "good will" puposes. It would work for those banned for language and other minor offenses but of course not for autoers and such. Some who have beeb playing for a long time will recall that Jagex *has* unbanned people before and announced it in Tip It. That was the time when some player accounts were unbanned after th knife bug.
