I have a pic where there are the old short arrows on the ground lol it's on my site. What was funny was the nonexistent range "animation." Random noob in Rs1: OMG some1 threw green jello at a chicken and it logged out!

Well it's really a matter of personal taste but I feel a lot of things looked better on RS1. Rune plates for females, for example. The old violet str potions were great. :) Runes, etc.

I couldn't even make a real list that would fit in here, there are too mamy people I miss on Rs1. Mmmm probably my evil twin Meiessiah is the one I miss the most, though.

Actually I do remember stingerx12. He used to tell me all sorts of stuff about his old rs gf. :-w Bad boy lol. :twisted:

Hi greg. :) The old archives are toast which is really a pity. We used to have a huge rant over that, when the old host deleted/lost the archives.

I have a level 30 and my main is over level 100. I still don't believe random noobs though, I mean so what if they do have a high level main if they act like idiots then levels don't matter.

I don't train anymore but if I had to I guess I would try lessers... thank goodness I'm done with all that. Before you think I'm lucky though you should realize training in RS1 was 10x harder and slower. :P \

That is a laughable post. Completely ridiculous. Did you know in the beginning there was only ONE server and everyone knew each other? :roll: Cheating in RS1, before it was abandoned by Jagex when they released RS2 was less than cheating now in RS2. Nowadays every tree has a botter and rune ess used to be autoed in every server by tonnes of people. Does that mean every player who started in RS2 is a botter/autoer/cheater? No. So don't say that about RS1 players. It's only now that there is no customer service or updates that cheaters took over RS1, not when it was the main game.

Way back in Feb 2002, the very first day that members came out I went and explored the "members dungeon" (there was only one then!) with a friend. None of us knew there was a dragon there so we had no anti-dragon shields. I died.

It's nothing to worry about really. People shouldn't get all heated up and stuff over these rares. I know where the original poster is coming from though, I had the exact same reaction, having quit when phats were 10-15 mil then when I came back they were over 50m. Shocking, but really worrisome.

Listen to lightning. This is exactly how it was. I'm sick of people not knowing what's up and not reading prior posts. It was a public beta release in 2001. Why one earth would you believe some web site over people who were there (me) and people who were there from the beginning (Lightning)?

Erm nope, no way. Bluerose13x is the best skiller ever. She practically controlled the whole of Runescape during her time.

That's exactly how it is, the first stage is the total noob stage when you barely know what to do then the exploring stage when you know the basics but haven't seen/done everything in RS yet. If you last that long then you go through the working stage next where you try to achieve your goals. After that you either quit or start playing less. :)

Cool story. My first barrows item was karils coif and it took 25-30 chests (I forgot the exact amount) lol. I also had trouble with the door puzzles and got it wrong the first time. :oops:

Pure essences prices will go up once the current supplies are used. :) Rc'ers need not worry though, all they have to do is raise rune prices. It's the mages who need to worry that rune prices will go up. :wink:

Within the next 4-5 years I expect Jagex will release RS3. :lol: I agree with Chewy, I have been waiting for another dupe to come along and ruin the market. It won't affect me as I never trade/sell rares although I have a few which I luckily picked up during the holiday drops and kept. :)

Yeah those forums were cool but they died now as jen and pugs moved on to other things when they got married irl.
