it's a useful one because the range bonus from a 10/10 bow is best in the game. Many players that count on efficiency uses it (although I have yet to try it, not a range fan). If you don't enjoy counting, just switch after ten minutes of shotting. It's usually pretty close by then.

yes. What you described is exactly how it worked. The bug is that the cbow counter is on the player, not on the bow itself. The game basically counts down on the player from 250, when it hits 0, it decay whichever bow you're using on that shot, regardless of what bow you have used for the last 249 shots. Enjoy :)

yes, but pouch drop is notoriously unpredictable, but you might want to use fairy ring ALR instead for safety. You could be in there for a while.

thieving was a popular money-maker... back in RSC. Thieve for exp or quest, don't thieve for gp, it's no longer worthwhile in RS2 world.
