    Hey Ortiz. :) From a regular forum user's POV, good concept. :P Makes me laugh. ^^ Now, from a pixeller's POV: As has been pointed out, gradients like that generally don't look too good on pixel signatures as they look a little fake. Fortunately it seems like you've pixelled them manually, so they don't get the big no no from me. Gradients are the gradual change from one colour to another - kind of like on a pipe or something. They're very easy to make automatically on some programs without having to do the whole RGB values thing - but if you did it automatically then it wouldn't count as a proper pixel. :) As has been pointed out above, gradients aren't the best way to pixel a sky, but of course as an artist you have a bit of license with your style. I personally suggest reading a couple of the tutorials in The Gallery Rules, FAQ and Resources and try a few sky techniques there if you can find them. :) This is misterxman's signature. Don't worry too much about how good it is, he's generally considered one of the better pixellers on the forums. What I want you to focus on is the ice-blocked guy on the right of the sig. You could try to emulate that sort of pixelling on the ice. One way to improve in pixelling is to study other people's signatures, especially those who are more experienced. They know what they're doing. Also, read as many tutorials as you can and try new things. Also, if you're having trouble with anatomy (it doesn't affect you too much at the moment as your character is small), research on the internet on human anatomy. Read articles on it and look at pictures. Use references. Same goes for the bull if you're going to do it. We've got all these resources and we may as well use it. :D Good luck!
  2. Hehe, nice to see your stuff again, Lazy_Cat... still brilliant, still amazes me. :) Here are a few of mine... sifting through my work I realised I haven't actually done very many good ones. :P Enjoy anywhoo. :D [hide=Here we go...] Current signature. :) Was pixelled when salamanders came out. :D Current avatar. :) Was done for the first round in the Battle of the Pixellers... the theme was "energy". Another Battle of the Pixellers entry, second round. The theme was "heavy metals". I did a bit of experimental colouring in this one, and I just like the idea of it. One of my better-thought-out pixels. :P A pixel I did for a friend early 2007. An unfinished pixel I did for a 10 mil gp contest (that turned out to be a hoax, haha) waaaay back in January 2006 when it was still legal. Not really great pixel-wise, but I like the lighting I did for the balcony (colour choices were horrendous though. Yikes. :P), and it's interesting to see what I was like way back when. :)[/hide]
  3. Ah, Alex, your brilliance never ceases to amaze me... Those clouds are cute. :P Although I too miss the obscene pinky gesture. ;_;
  4. Nardy is super cute and I want to take it home. Only crit will have been taken from Xman's: Nardith and Nardoor do look a little too similar. :) Great job otherwise.
  5. Ah, haven't seen much from you lately, Mac, nice to see you again. :) Nothing more to add than what APERSON's already said - nothing terribly wrong yet. :D I've always rather liked your style.
  6. The characters are graphics cut out from runescape, and pasted in. Just shows how long I've been away from the game then, eh? Didn't recognise them in the slightest as RS characters, though I did wonder about the odd 'pixelling' when I zoomed in. X_X My mistake, thanks for correcting me. In that case, it seems you haven't done much in this sig at all, I'm afraid. The bricks, edited as they are, still look really flat and un-bricklike. They look a little better than in the original version, though. Question: is the wall supposed to be run down? Is that why there's a hole in the wall? If that's the case, wouldn't the edges of the wall (where it looks half completed) be broken-ish as well? (just throwing my thoughts out there :|) Thank you for taking the effort of repixelling the RS screenshots, though. The text is still hard to read - the letters aren't defined enough as individual letters... unless that's just my eyes acting up.
  7. I quite like the way it blends into white like that - it's got a nice feel to it. The anatomy's pretty good from what I can tell, so props to you: the people on the right hand side look good. I don't like the bricks, to be perfectly honest with you. It's obvious you pixelled one, and then copy-pasted them into one monotonous brick wall with very little, if any, texture. The copy-pasted bricks look tacky and ruin the nice figures. I'd've liked to see some individual bricks - it would have made the right side of the pixel a lot more interesting. I also have a bit of an issue with the lack of anything in the sky - I realise there's the text there, but it just seems very... empty at the moment. The dark green/shadow should connect between the third figure (from the left)'s legs, wouldn't it? At the moment the shadow makes it seem like the poor guy doesn't have a torso. :P The shield in the middle looks rather out of place - I personally think you could do without it. It's really up to you though, but at the moment it seems like it's just been put there; doesn't seem to fit in the scene at all. I'm not sure how you can fix this next bit, but the second figure (from the left) seems a bit random as he sort of just comes out of the brick wall. Looks like you've copy-pasted the guy and flipped him horizontally - I'm not as miffed about that as I was with the bricks as it might look odd with different figures on each side... One more nitpick, the text under 'Tiver50' is very difficult to read. That's about it - take a look into that copy-pasting habit of yours, especially with the bricks. It looks tacky when it's beside those nicely pixelled characters. I'll be on the lookout for some more work in the future. :)
  8. Wrong forum, mate. :) Moved it for you to Money-Making, Monster, Item, NPC Help, please remember to post in the correct forum in the future, thanks! :D EDIT: Erm... wrong forum moved... :oops: Wow, this is embarrassing. X_X
  9. Lil_Atza has the right link, please go there for tutorials. :) This is the wrong forum for questions, however - please post further Gallery related questions into the Ask your questions or sig resizing here! sticky in the main Gallery forum. Thanks, - Faelenof, Tip.It Forum Moderator

  15. *adds 2000 total to the list of things she's missed* Hehe. :P G'luck for the future, mate, haven't been on much as you well know, but you also know I'm rooting for you. ^^ Offtopic: You really need to fix your pics, you've linked it to your FTP site and I can never see them. ;_;

  17. Sorry mate, locking this - please post future questions in theAsk your questions or sig resizing here! sticky, or simply read the The Gallery Rules, FAQ and Resources announcement. I personally suggest reading the announcement first, then, if you question isn't answered there, post in the sticky. :) Thanks, - Faelenof, Tip.It Forum Moderator
  18. Sorry mate, locking this topic as The Gallery is for images created by yourself, not real screenshots from Runescape. If anywhere, this belongs in RS Bugs & Suggestions, though these are quite old and well known bugs already. Please post future topics in the correct forum, thank you. :) - Faelenof, Tip.It Forum Moderator

    Have fun ripping my head off then, 'cause you're going to have to post in the Price Check Sticky in the marketplace. Topic locked. Please post further price checks in the sticky I linked above. Thanks, - Faelenof, Tip.It Forum Moderator
  20. Cheers for the comments, everyone. :) Weeboab, five bucks sound good for the evil muffin? And thanks for that, Ter. :) I know what you're talking about, and thanks for the tip on the shadows. I'll try my hand at a bit of texturing too. Appreciate the crits. :) Thanks again, all, be on the lookout for my future ones. ^^
  21. This one took a little longer, but that's understandable as it's a bigger canvas. Still a relatively quick sketch to try out a few colours and stuff. Image was based on this photo. Still exploring the tablet and Photoshop in general. :) Any suggestions to practise digipainting are appreciated.
  22. Jeez, do I sound that serious over the internet? (not saying I didn't hug the tablet or anything...) :P Thanks guys, it indeed was a real quick trial of the pen, so expect a few more things in the future with more than just a muffin (although there's absolutely nothing wrong with muffins). No, you may not eat the mo0fin. It will eat you. PHEAR THE MOOFIN By the way, I'm having trouble with my tablet - I'm using PS 7, which supports the whole pen pressure and eraser thing... but it's not working. It worked last night when I did the muffin pic (and the ebil muffin edit), but now it's just reverted back to mouse-like abilities. The quick buttons on the side of the pen work as I've programmed them, but the eraser and the pen pressure features aren't doing anything. :| I've set the brush that I'm using to have those options, but it's still not happening... any suggestions?
  23. Heh, yeah, just a quick sketch. I was fiddling with the pen pressure options in Photoshop when I did this. :P I'm still a relative Photoshop noob, so these fancy little options are quite new to me. :P And yeah, a little sad... although amusing at the same time. ^^
  24. Yep, just got my tablet today... It makes me happy. Top left image was my reference (thank you Wiki). I absolutely adore it... *hugs tablet* EDIT: Another quicky painting...
  25. Ugh, another 99 I missed... ;_; Anywhoo, grats Book, I cannot believe I wasn't online... *blush* And you broke the 120 combat... I'm missing everything in F2P. :P Awesome job though. :D Good luck on 2000! (ps, why is it that I can never see your images? :|)
