Horror of Meiyerditch [PIXEL - COMPLETE]
Urgh, after a hours of ploughing through this pixel both yesterday and today, I do believe I've finally finished it. Most noticable difference from the previous update is that the shades are considerably lighter. No idea how I was able to work with such a dark palette before (Outsanity, if it's too light for you, feel free to fiddle with some Brightness/Contrast effects.) Finished off the wall texture, finished the torches, textured the floor (the stylised 'D' stands for Drakan, who's the lord of the Meiyerditch, and considering the character is stealing something from some royal chamber, so it's only fitting that the emblem is of it's ruler). Also added the text. Now that was difficult. It's not likely I'm going to be making major changes to the pixel now, I'm ridiculously sick of this piece - which is not uncommon for me, so don't take it personally, Outsanity. :P And for the version that fits Tip.It forum size limitations... There doesn't seem to be too much quality loss. Thanks, everyone, for your c/c, and enjoy your pixel, Book. :)

Newest Pixels
Nice pixels, rather unoriginal themes for both of them, though. :| My first concern is the rather flat shading you've used. The colour changes within things like the sunset or the grass is too drastic. Unless you're going for that sort of obviously-getting-darker shading, then you'll do best with a bit of dithering in between the different shades. Character anatomy is iffy in places, and there's very little texture within the pieces. All in all, rather basic pixels with things to improve on. But that's what practise and reading tutorials are for. :) Good luck!

Pixel tutorials are in the link that Pandaownage provided. This really belongs in the Ask Your Questions Here! topic in The Gallery. Please post all future queries in that topic. :) Thanks, ~ Faelenof

As said by Maximus, this thread is in the wrong forum and belongs in Help & Advice. I'll move it there this time but please remember to post all future questions in the correct forum. :) You can get the amulet back from the Sphinx in the middle of Sophanem, I believe. Thanks, ~ Faelenof

Trouble Brewing Advice
Ah, Trouble Brewing, one of my favourite minigames in P2P, albeit a little overlooked. ;_; The brewing world is 104, last I heard. If you don't find anyone there, its likely they're in the middle of a game or you're on at a slow time. Best time to play is the usual peak RS times, I believe, though I usually find a few people there every time I go to visit. As far as I know, there isn't any 'official' Trouble Brewing team like Affliction and Heart Unit for Pest Control. I know of a few people who organise some Trouble Brewing games over TIF, but I havn't checked lately. Good luck and happy brewing! It's a fun game once you figure it out. :D ~ Fael

Did a vector poster - Plus a pixel version 19/02/07
Havn't had the chance to reply to this, Ter, but excellent work as usual on both the vector and the pixel (thus far). :D I prefer the pixel to the vector, No crits that havn't already been said. Can't wait to see the hair all pixelified, I'm sure it'll just bring the whole piece together. I'd like to see a teensy bit more saturation into the picture also, it feels a bit dull at the moment whilst the vector was nice and bright. Keep it up, it's looking great. :D

My Drawings! (Wow, i didnt know i could draw...)
Very well done, Waaz. :o I like them a lot, though we don't get American football much here in NZ. :P Anatomy is pretty good, though the first picture's left arm seems a bit undersized to me, a little out of perspective as the left arm sees like it should be closer to us. But then, I'm not too much of an anatomy person so you might want to wait for other comments. :) Otherwise, for someone who doesn't draw often, they're pretty good! I'm looking forward to some future sketches, yeah? :D

Is luring an acceptable practice?
Canadian, have you even read the topic past the first post? It seems that it is against the rules according to JaGEx mods, but there's still a lot of grey area in it as different sources give different answers. Personally, I find luring traders into the Wilderness despicable. But, luring players who are already in the Wilderness is alright, because they were already in the Wilderness and they knew what they were getting into. Luring players around the Wildy, for example, from single-combat to multi-combat, is a common PKing tactic, I know this from my short stint as a PKer myself. I find this completely legitimate. But of course, I don't think we're talking about the latter lurers, who are doing this to people already in the Wilderness. We're talking about those guys who pretty much set up a fake trade near the Wilderness and kill the unsuspecting trader. Trade lurers are those who deliberately lure those who have no wish to PK or be in the Wildy at all. These people are in the same category as item scammers and password scammers in my eyes, as they are posing as a trader and, well, pretty much stabs them in the back. I personally believe this is against the rules. Why? The lurers are deliberately lying about the trade. They weren't trying to trade at all - they were trying to get the trader's items, fullstop. Indeed, lurers can justify their actions because of the warning pop-up that appears. Despite the Wilderness warnings that come up, and the growing awareness of lurers in both F2P and P2P (the latter especially), people are still somehow getting themselves lured. You'd think those people who have millions of GP ingame, easter eggs, santas, masks, party hats, all that jazz, would have more common sense than to happily skip into the Wilderness with items worth millions. I don't understand how people can be that ridiculously gullible. Someone who mustered up enough GP to buy a santa hat should know better. I think I'm going around in circles now, so I'd best end it. Item lurers are low. Low, low, so very low. It is completely unacceptable, although I admit that it is also partly the trade-ee's fault for waltzing into the Wilderness with their items. I find myself wondering where the common sense is disappearing to in RuneScape.

A successfull RS player = ?
A successful player in any game is someone who can play the game, enjoy playing the game, and be able to balance playing the game with their real life. That is a successful player. :D

Battle of the Pixelers - Final Round, all entries in =)
Easily A. :) I didn't put nearly enough effort in mine to be considered the winner. Excellent work, both Shadow and Ben. :D The comp was good fun. ^^

Battle of the Pixelers - Final Round, all entries in =)
My apologies, everyone, just moved house and I wasn't able to inform you before we started the moving and stuff. :| Internet was only hooked up about thirty minutes ago, so I've gone about seven days without the Internet, so it's really my fault. >< Good luck to everyone, I want to see what everyone else did. ^^ (I'm having trouble typing too. XD Just goes to show you what seven days can do to you... I'm rusty. X_X)

wanted! quest help
I believe you need to talk to him in level 5 Wildy, the place where you can enter the Abyss, just above Edgeville near the river first.

Best Law Rune Drop Rate?
You could always do a bit of law running, which in my opinion is much faster than hoping for some laws from monster drops. Granted, it's not a monster you have to fight, but it's the fastest I can think of at the moment. :P

Make Money - Grow Ranarrs! v2
It's possible to get 12+ per patch; I've personally gotten 13 in one patch, and a friend of mine got 15. It's possible, it's just a little rare. :P (still an uber guide, Zatrance. ^^)

Gnome Stronghold..
I think you may be at the wrong place - you might be at Lathas' training ground. :P Go more northwest from there and you should find it - there are gnomes all around. ^^

Battle of the Pixelers [cancelled]
eh, to get this thing over with, cause noone seems interested anymore, you could just judge all of the 4 entries together, get 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th places. It would be a bit more rewarding if I did my best on my pixel. X_X But that does seem to be the best way at the moment. :|

Horror of Meiyerditch [PIXEL - COMPLETE]
After yet another ridiculously long slump in updates, I bring you the latest one, completed last night. :) As you can see, I've redone the Vyrewatch in the background entirely, started on the walls and the fire and stuff. On the Vyre subject, I've changed his colour scheme (except for that pasty-grey skin), changed the wing position, made him stand farther back in the pixel and a few other tweaks with his clothing. Face shading is still very iffy, all suggestions to fix that are awesome and rewarded with cookies. Started on the background, as you can probably tell. Fire, the stone torch-holder thing, and of course the brick-ish wall of which the shading style is owed to Terley from an old suggestion to PJB on one of his earlier pixels. :) Other minor changes are to the forecharacter's face which looks much better (thank you PJB for the c/c), fire-ish highlights on the shoulderplates, defined the muscles on the chainmail a little more, and a pixelled out vial. At the moment I'm suddenly at a loss of what to do on the ground. I'm leaning toward some that royal-evil theme at the moment, so perhaps I'll continue with the reddish theme and have a reddish rug with some design of gold or something. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.

HALO 3!!!
And that is why I shouldn't c/c according to the norm and when I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.

HALO 3!!!
Bugger, no Halo 3 yet? I rather like the outcome here, nice lighting, methinks. The left side is just a teensy bit bare, and there doesn't seem to be a border. Otherwise, it's a pretty good sig. :) (feel free to ignore everything I just said up there as I have very little idea about this sort of stuff. :P)

Runescape Art Shop. (Working on Orders)
Its looking great. :D You are awesome. The black lines look too hard, to be honest, so preferrably move away from those, especially in the nature rune symbols. That's about it, thanks very much (yet again. :P)
