I do it once in a while (just solo merching) but I'm not focused enough on it to make huge profits. Recently lost 15M to masterwands, so my merhcing of the last 2 weeks has been ruined again... Anyway, I've got Around 250M cash to play with. How much should I be making a day? (solo merching).

With your formula, someone with 200M cooking experience and 200 skill total is rated higher than soemone with 2200 skill total and 200M total xp. Again, total lvl isnt overrated at all, 99s are.

And guess what, someone with high total lvl will have a good knowledge of lots of things on RS. Compare that to all the lvl 90 newbs with their flethcing/cooking/firemaking cape... If anything, 99s are overrated.

On what did you use it?

After timing several of his techniques (runcrafting, hunter, mining and construction) I found his methods to be way to quick and not good for me as an average of my own rates. No matter how good his techniques are, don't use his numbers for a longterm average rate, unless you've actually achieved them yourself. I know all of his numbers require super attention and perfect runs etc... I was just stating it *is* possible to get 70k xp. Also, if you do all your samples with perfect runs, the relative rates will still be the same. Uhm yes but we aren't perfect, so don't expect to get "perfect" runs EVER..- Things that require more attention suffer much, much more from this than other things: monkfish you can fish almost "perfectly" continuasly: slmon is a lot harder, now power mining is even worse (I don't get even half the so called "perfect xp").. while writing my post, I was actually thinking just the same, but was too lazy to add :D You are very right indeed. I myself have also just did monks out of easyness. While paying very few attention, I've gotten nearly max xp possible, with monks.

I haven't seen a "Drop is nerfed" thread other than this in good while, and did i say that i concluded drop was nerfed? You obviously need new glasses. So are you imagening it in your head that i am making "Drops is nerfed" threads? This threads point was to get feedback from other clan as to how stuff was hanging with them at GWD. Oh and another thing, don't call me friend ;) Aw cmon, you were suggesting that the drops were, perhaps, nerfed, which obviously isnt the fact. I used more money for Lost City than I used for Monkey Madness. About 5k for 100 Fire Strikes to do Lost City. And I did Monkey Madness with a zero gp budget. (I spent about 1-2 hours getting all items, and traded items I found in my bank, like food, for prayer pots ;D) :thumbsup: Monkey Madness is actually not that hard (but not very easy either) if you have 43+ prayer. Of course Lost City is still much easier. Totally off topic, but you are mistaking. You didnt do it on a zero budget. You traded stuff in your bank for prayer pots, which means you did spend whatever that food was worth. I wasnt talking about the fact RoW doesnt work on LS. I know that... I was talking about the fact that you seem to think you got 8 trips with only a warrior, just cause you werent wearing row. I've got very little experience at DKS, but last trip I got an axe and a zerker in a 1.5H trip, with a ROL. Am I saying ROW is useless, no. Am I saying ROW makes a world of difference, no. I dont draw conclusions that quickly, nor should you.

That's nice but you should know ring of wealth is being neglected when using LootShare, it means it won't have affect on drop. So you might gotten those rares because of the ring most likely, but anyhow well done. I am just saying :thumbup: had to recount my trips its actually 20 but we dont use ring of wealth i use life as on death im gonna loose about 20m. only ever had a hilt solo. Cool well i recommend using ROW. Here's why, if your gonna go there risking your items (You are even with ring of life), then do it with a good chance of a rare than a low. I did 8 trips at Dagannoth rex with ring of life, i got only 1 warrior ring. With Ring of wealth i did around 5-8, and i earned 12m+ ;) Even earned 5.9m in 1 trip! Your misunderstanding, last trip we did we got 160 kills. Total we have gotten over 400+ kills... EDIT: I have been with my clan alot, and we done alot Saradomin. But we have also done lots Armadyl, and we got only 1 Armadyl hilt which i wasn't there because internett were to bad. Then we got a Armadyl helmet and shards. At Saradomin, i have gotten 7+ Hilts, and 8+ Ss... Luck, luck, luck, luck.

I havent been to GWD for months, and I dont have a clan. As big as your sample is, 160 kills isnt enough to make conclusions. You know how Runescape drops work. Take dragon boots for example: Drop rate around 100-130, yet there are people who have gotten a dry streak of over 600. Look at compfreak siggy, I think he had a dry streak on arma for 600 kills. You are making your conclusions way too fast. EDIT: I saw it was 7 trips, well even then... Also, where the hell did you read sara hilt is less rare than arma hilt. From soma's guide I hear it's all like 1/300 (or was it 1/150 not sure, anyway ,the same). The only reason you could say arma hilt is rarer, is cause there are more alternative drops.

Err, where did you take the .006 shouldn't it be 0.6? that would make it 13. 25 hours. Am I right? if yes could make your calculations again? No, it's .6%, not .6. .6%=.006, so 1325 hours for that is correct. No, his calculations were indeed wrong. It should be 1.6 percent, or even 3.3 if you dont measure in strength as the level itself.

I reread some posts from Ydrasil somewhere at page 20 or so, and in fact, what he says is right; However, you 2 are comparing apples and pears. Compfreak: Slayer is bad for combat xp. Calculations, ... => total combat xp from AZ's > total combat xp from Slayer (NOT counting slayer) + profits of AZ's are higher, especially if you use a cannon. = True Ydrasil: Total xp, including slayer and summoning of slayer doing slayer = (+-) Total xp doing AZ's. Money from slayer is also nearly as much (145 compared to 175). This is assuming you DONT use a cannon. However, he also proves that if you make x amount of money per hour, a cannon is worth it. (which stands true, if you value you slay xp). = True Personally, I am deciding between AZ's for quick melee combat xp, Waterfiends for charms (I want 96 summoning) or just slayer.
